Very stylish and beautiful hotel. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was explained and staff was always in touch, ready to help and answer our questions. I was even able to get some things bought form me and arrange to be waiting for me in the room, which I was really impressed by! Shuttle to and from the airport / train station is every half an hour, and costs EUR 3 per person per trip. The location is excellent - three minutes drive from Malpensa airport, it was brilliant for me arriving in the middle of the night. Quite good breakfast. The place is calm, we slept with the window open at night. Wi-Fi, kettle, heating, shower, hairdryer - everything worked properly. Milan is half an hour away traveling by train. Luggage storage available on the day of departure, and was even delivered for us to the airport without a need to come to the hotel just to pick it up, for which a separate wholehearted thanks! The hotel is extremely beautiful - better than on pictures!

It’s really 5 minutes with the shuttle from the airport, the shuttle is regular and very comfortable. The rooms are of old style with quality wooden furniture, however, the bathrooms are renovated, and everything is perfectly clean. The dinner was served even though we arrived at 10.00, and the dishes were in accordance with high Italian standards. And the dining room is really beautiful. We also added breakfast for a small extra fee - and I had the best apple pie in my life. The reception was exceptionally helpful. We had a very pleasant overnight stay and we were in good time back at the airport the next morning.

Location very close to the Malpensa Airport, 2 minute from Terminal 1 with a shuttle service available by request. The Hotel is comfortable for short stays. Didn't get to try the restaurant.

Staff, except the reception, unmemorable and not particularly friendly. As mentioned on others reviews, this hotel, probably due to his location, has a problem with bugs. Our room had a lot of bugs walking around. Not bed bugs, mostly Coccinellidae which are just an annoyance but nonetheless avoidable. If you need an invoice, make sure to request it before you leave at checkout, otherwise they will not send you one after.

Lovely stylish hotel a few minutes by shuttle from the airport. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, very pleasant dining room, open until 10pm which was great for late arrivals. Nice choice of breakfast food. Spacious treed grounds and pool to relax by before ongoing flight. All the staff were great but special mention to the reception man, very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Terrific personal shuttle service with courteous and friendly driver. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here on future trips. Just wish we'd known about this hotel earlier.

nothing about the hotel! a tip for other travelers- my phone international roaming wouldn't work at the airport, it was late , eventually, in frustration I got a taxi. Cost 20 euro. The next day the shuttle driver advised me I could have got through to them on Whats App! I hope this is helpful for others to know

Location is perfect for the Malpensa airport. Especially since free shuttle was provided. It's just a beautiful building. Staff was wonderful. Food at the bar was good. Restaurant was a little pricey for me. Pool was nice and refreshing. Breakfast buffet was very nice.

The hotel is not near anything. Great gif a night going in and out of the airport but not somewhere I'd stay for more than that. You had to request and return towels to the front desk. The pool was fine but the walk to it had a bit of a rundown feel.

Very convenient location near Malpensa Airport. Excellent facilities and comfortable, very clean rooms. Convenient transfer service from and to airport at €3,50 p/p (not free as stated on Booking). Excellent Breakfast, good food in the Bar till 12PM. Highly recommend the Tiramisu :-) Felirent Car Rental is located opposite the hotel, so an excellent combo for flying in late night and picking up your car the next morning after breakfast! (They also have a free airport transfer)

Doors to the rooms cannot be closed silently, and early departing gust in your hallway will wake you up if you are a lighter sleeper. Beds are a little more firm then to my liking (personal preference) and in wintertime a thicker bedcover would be good as standard (but in our case quickly delivered to our room when requested, excellent front of house service!)

Hotel is excellent for short stop over, situated within a couple of minutes of the airport and has all the facilities one could require. Whilst room was fairly basic, it was clean and of reasonable size with mini bar. Beds were comfortable and complimentary toiletries were provided. The restaurant provided good choice of both food and wines, whilst the airport shuttle pick up and transfer (cost 3.50 euros per person) was efficient, as was check in. All staff were extremely courteous and friendly, adding to a pleasurable stay.

The only minor issue was that the restuarant was in high demand and it would be preferable to be advised at the time of checking in that reservations are highly recommended.

While we selected this hotel specifically for an early flight from Milan, the hotel is a 100ish year old villa, which maintains much of its original charm. The room was suitable, and staff were quick to assist with an iron and ironing board. The bathroom was large and clean, the windows had full block out blinds, and the bed/pillows were comfortable. We had 2 nights, so relied on their shuttle to get us to the airport (and rail link), which was quick (5 min ride) and regular.

The TV remote was missing, so we couldn’t watch any TV, so relied on wifi which was a bit slow. We struggled to work out the thermostat, which whilst wall mounted and easy to operate, made no difference to the room temp. We only discovered (late) that the cooling unit had a seperate switch which needed to be turned on. It would have been helpful having better in room directions on this.

We really appreciated the comfort and convenience of Hotel Malpensa, a beautiful property where we enjoyed a too-brief stay prior to catching an early morning flight from Milan MXP. The shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off again the next morning operated quickly and efficiently. Though we arrived early at 1PM, they had our room ready. The gentleman who checked us in at reception was charming and helpful. Our 5AM shuttle did not give us enough time to stay for breakfast, but the prior evening we asked if they could provide a "to go" box of breakfast treats, which they kindly accommodated. Our room (208) was recently updated and spacious enough, with nice linens and a very comfortable mattress. An electric kettle and fixings for tea/coffee were provided, along with a mini-fridge that offered snacks/drinks for a fee. The bathroom and shower were also excellent with nice towels and bath products. It was also very quiet, impressive for it's close proximity to the airport. The pool seemed very nice, though as expected the water was not heated and we did not go for a swim. We had dinner at the on-premise restaurant and found the food and service to be very good. We would definitely stay again at this lovely hotel (which must have been a villa in a previous life).

The only downside was that our room faced west and the A/C was not quite up to the task of cooling the room. Closing the room darkening curtains did help to keep the room cooler. Also, while not really a knock, we can't understand why none of the European hotels where we stayed during our 3 weeks travels did not provide valet stands or other appropriate furniture to accommodate packing/unpacking luggage.

We needed a place to stay prior to a boarding a mid-morning transatlantic flight, and we ended our Italian expedition on a high note. This palatial villa is a very short to MXP, and, given the beauty, accessibility and convenience, was a good value as well. Our room was fine, with a nice view at sunset, but the hotel itself stole the show. I couldn't resist the chance to snap photos of the wonderful ceiling murals and the grounds recording images of the magnificent building. We had a fine good dinner in the dining room and a fine breakfast the next morning as well. Transport from and then to the airport was prompt, courteous and well executed.
