The hostess was very nice and friendly and provided all the necessary details. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was stored in the refrigerator in advanced, but since we left early in the morning we didn't eat it. We chose the hotel because it was fairly close to the airport. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to the airport.

The bathroom is tiny. It was not comfortable.

Beautiful property set on the quiet bank of a river just 10 minutes from the airport. EXCELLENT service and communication from the owner and staff. The owner also provided some helpful suggestions for our trip. The restaurant was incredible. Everything was hand made and fresh, and the quality was superb. A similar meal back home would have cost twice as much, but honestly I don’t think I’d be able to find such authentic and delicious food in the states. The room was comfortable and clean, and was furnished with homemade bread and pastries, jam, espresso, and a sandwich. I could not have asked for a better start to my trip after a long flight! Stay here if you are in the area, you will not regret it.

The facility exceeded our expectations 20 times over. They helped facilitate our travel from the rail station to their location and the meal that we had was prepared by their own personal chef that is on site. In the 10 days here in Italy that was the best meal we ever had. The owner and other people involved were so good to us and there are beautiful walking trails along the canal and in the woods right from the location. You're right on the river and our room just overlooked the river which saying this to sleep at night. We plan to go back for a longer stay I can recommend it highly

There is nothing that we didn't like

Bnb Osteria was not a hotel but rather an entire experience. This truly was one of the most special and unique places I’ve ever stayed at. It is located conveniently 10 minute from Milan Malpesa airport. But perhaps the best part is the gorgeous river it sits on, the incredible hosts Marina and co host Mamica. And the exceptional restaurant that it is connected to which hosted one of the best, most intimate dinners we had in Italy. Marina takes so much pride in hosting and creating a special experience for each of her guests, down to the wonderful in the room breakfast and comfortable cozy rooms. Will stay here every time we pass through Milan. Truly one of the most special bed and breakfasts out there!

Marina and Mamica were very helpful from start to finish of my stay here. I booked less than a week in advance, and I was staying there because I needed to arrive early at Malpensa airport. They both made sure I had everything I needed during my stay, from fresh food for breakfast, a comfortable and clean room, a view of the river, to a cheap ride from the station and to the airport. I felt like I mattered and was friends with them, and that’s important to me whenever I stay somewhere. The restaurant was closed on the night I stayed there, but everybody deserves rest and there was a storm in the evening anyways.

I don’t have any complaints about this place!

Location: really close to Malpensa airport, but quiet, unique and picturesque along the Ticino River Staff: extremely helpful, organized and kind Price: good value for the proximity to the airport and the level of attention to details Food: all is needed for breakfast is provided in the room, which is great in case you leave your room really early. The B&B is also a restaurant and there are various other options nearby within just a few minutes drive.

One thing I can think of is that to get to the bedroom there are only stairs (1 floor), which can be a problem if you have heavy and multiple pieces of luggage

We booked Osteria delle Sperone because it was close to the airport and because of the view. The room was great, and the view even better. We sat by the river at sunset. But what really set this place apart was the attention to detail for guest comfort and enjoyment, especially with the food. The restaurant had no business being as amazing as it was. We thought we'd be settling for an ok dinner the night before we left. Instead, it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. It innovated on classic Italian dishes in really great ways. The wine list had wines from a number of regions of Italy. The restaurant itself was beautifully appointed. The chef prepared sweet treats for the room which were as good if not better than any desserts we had in any restaurant in Italy. Two of the tarts looked simple (chocolate and coconut) but also had tasty jams inside. The manager reached out to us way in advance of our trip to make sure we had the easiest time getting there. She arranged a driver and instructed us not to get off at the airport, but the stop before to save us money. We were at the airport the next morning in under 10 minutes. Just a perfect end to a trip, when people are generally exhausted. Highly recommended!

Everything was great.

Although the room was a little small, we really enjoyed everything else. Marina and Mamica are a winning team! They took care of everything to make our stay very enjoyable.They gave us excellent tips on where to go and visit in the area. There is an excellent restaurant on site with very high-quality food! They also advised us when to leave for the airport during a national holiday and heavy traffic towards and within the airport. Thank you so much Marina and Mamica for all your help and service.There is no doubt that every time we arrive at Malpensa we will stay at this Hotel again.

Being 10 minutes from the airport yet with a decent restaurant is what sold me, but what a hidden gem! The in-room breakfasts were elaborate, with fresh desserts, sandwiches, drinks… The rooms while small were pristine and comfortable. And the on-site restaurant was one of our best food experiences while in Italy, including accommodating dietary restrictions. We ended up coming back for a second dinner the next day! Marina and Marika went above and beyond.

Access by narrow steps — not a problem for us, but be aware that rooms are not accessible.

The B&B is part of a riverfront complex that includes the restaurant Osteria dello Sperone. We had a wonderful meal there! The host Marina provides exceptional hospitality. With her assistant Monica,we were able to book a pickup and return to the MXP Milan airport,a fantastic meal with great wine options ,and our 2 rooms. An in-room breakfast was ample ,homemade treats,coffee ,juice and yogurt. Because of heavy rain,we couldnt enjoy what looked to be a great walk beside the river. The rooms were comfortable,shower excellent.With an early flight from MXP to end our vacation in Italy,this was a GEM of a find!
