Good location- walking distance to Shinjuku gardens which we highly recommend. Next door to Higashi- Shinjuku station. Many convenience stores in close proximity. Rather than navigate crazy Shinjuku station, go to Shin- Okubu and walk 15 minutes if using the JR line. Cosy beds, great personal amenities.

The hotel is next door (give or take 2 buildings) to the tube, the beds and especially the pillow are one of the selling points and one reason I booked here. The hotel has this great method that allows you to put one of two stickers on your door by 1200pm to say to clean your room or just change towels. Every 3rd day they will clean the room for hygiene reasons. This is great for not being disturbed as you're getting ready to go out by the house staff. I chose to clean every day.

I dropped something down the side of the cabinet and when I went to pull it out I pulled out a pair of ladies underwear and bra. In fairness it was hidden but still...ewww. They have a cooler not a fridge so you never really get your drinks cold just cool..

The location is really great, the higashi Shinjuku station is literally outside the door of the hotel and has a lift, so if travelling with large bags it’s so easy to come and go! The beds were large and comfy. The hotel has a table in reception with toothbrushes, face creams, shower caps etc for you to take as you need. The staff were helpful in storing our bags for a few hours after we checked out and waited for our flight. You can choose a full maid service of the room, or just towel replacements each day, which is handy if you’re only staying a few nights and don’t need a complete make up of the room.

Our toilet was leaking! The base of the toilet had a leak which was running into the bathroom floor. This didn’t ruin our stay though! :)

My partner and I are both big fans of this place, having stayed on both of trips to Japan so far. The space itself is nothing to write home about, but well looked after and tidy. The staff are always courteous and friendly, with many speaking great English. Check in and out is straight forward and the hotel is also able to look after your bags in the lobby if needed, which we took advantage of when we arrived a bit too early for check in, but wanted to go and explore. The biggest attraction for us however is the location which is super hard to beat when it comes to getting around Tokyo, makes for a great home base in Shinjuku. The hotel is surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to roads and we had no issues with noise during either stay. They also have really good WiFi and a good range of complimentary toiletries. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. We'll certainly be looking to stay here whenever we return to Tokyo!

The hotel is very fair and ok for price that you pay for. The facilities are new and clean. The check in and check out can be done in automatic service desk or with hotel staff, everything automated and quick. There are many amenities available on hotel service desk that you can take and use free of charge such as like skin care, razor, and other... that is very good. The room is clean, bathroom as well, they supply good pillows and the bed was ok although the size is not big, but that we already knew already in advance before booking. The location is very good, you have 2 options of supermarkets and a lot of restaurants nearby just few meters, and 2 subway lines just next door, which makes possible to arrive and leave the hotel quick and easily even with luggage ( our choice to get to the hotel from narita airport to hotel only using train and subway ) very quick and easy in Tokyo. From the 2 lines you can go to all city easy for a day of sightseeing for example... The room was silent all night, good blackout on windows make the room comfortable for sleep.

The breakfast is a voucher ticket to a besides restaurant. The food is good and well servede, but you can only choose between two options of pre defined meals. If you are staying only one or two days this is ok, but more than this be prepare to eat the same all days without change if you select breakfast from hotel. The drinks are refill, so you get coffee and other drinks all you can have. So be aware of it before booking the breakfast. Room size is small ( very small ) but not a problem for us since we already knew but be aware.

This was a repeat stay. We specifically chose to stay here again because we like the location - it is just beside entance B2 of the Higashi-Shinjuku metro station and is an easy walk to the Shin-Okubo area. While the rooms are small, they are designed well and are very usable. The staff is great and the hotel and rooms are very clean. We would stay here again if we were looking to stay in this area of Tokyo.

There are a couple of drawbacks. The major one for us is that the hotel fronts on Meiji-dori and can be noisy at night with ambulances. If you are easily disturned by noise, this might be an issue for you. (I would recommend ear plugs).

Room cleaning was mediocre, I even told the reception but they still did a poor job (I even moved all the luggage out of the way so they would have space to vacuum because understandably they don’t touch your stuff), I would suggest they make routine checks on the quality of the cleaning 2. Smoking area rules were not enforced enough, people kept leaving beverages and other trash inside 3. Lobby rules such as no eating/drinking were also not enforced

The property is in a fantastic location in the Shinjuku Ward, good to use as a base as you explore Tokyo....if you are landing at Narita International airport, you can take the airport limousine bus (3200¥, if I remember correctly) which brings you straight to JR Shinjuku station, here you can either take a taxi to the hotel if u have a lot of luggage, you can walk or take the train to the hotel. The hotel is located literally...I counted 50 steps from the hotel door to the entrance of the station steps (Higashi Shinjuku) very near and convenient. On either side of the hotel entrance and across the road is convenience stores such as 7/11 and Lawson’s , also a Macdonalds and several coffee shops so if you land late at night and need food and other basics, this would be your go quick go to. The hotel has quite a generous thoughtful layout of free amenities for its guests to take such as toothbrushes, hair bands, face masks ect. The water pressure is amazing, I had an amazing shower, the toilet has a strong flush which is great and water temperature was just perfect, you can also adjust these to your liking. Checking in/out is very easy and quick. The bed was very comfortable and so was my pillows, I had a great restful sleep. Highly recommend this hotel and it is value for money! The hotel looks just like the pictures!

The bathroom is really tiny but this is very common in Tokyo, I felt awkward and you gotta be really careful so you don’t bang into anything....so if you are a big and or tall person that could be difficult. Additionally If you are a light sleeper then you might be disturbed from the ambulance sirens late at night into the early hours of the morning. But this didn’t really both me at all.

We loved the location of this accommodation, right next to a train station entrance/exit, made it incredibly easy to get around! The breakfast buffet was lovely and always stocked and the free amenities left near the elevator was also handy for things such as face wash, moisturiser etc. The hotel is also conveniently located near a Lawsons, 7/11 and Maccas. It was also a short walk from the Shinjuku Golden Gai area which was great for nights out.

The rooms were a bit small dependant on the size of your luggage, we found it difficult to have both of our suitcases open next to the bed as there was little room to move around however this wasn't a major issue.

The hotel staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms whilst small have everything you need and if you have forgotten anything the hotel lobby has a desk with almost everything you can think of including sun block all free of charge. The breakfast was adequate to set you up for the day and the restaurant serves some decent food at night. The hotel location is right next to the Metro ideal for getting around Tokyo. We would stay here again.

I guess the only thing was that because of the small room the bed was up against the wall on one side making it difficult for less able-bodied people to get in and out of the bed.
