Seriously a gem to be discovered. Super spacious for a family of 6. I have 2 teenagers, a little kid, and an adult daughter and we all still have our own personal spaces. Oedo line is a 5 min walk right behind the building and it can take you to Shinjuku station which would be a 20 min walk and you can switch stations from there for other major lines or get off and explore more of what Shinjuku has to offer. You can literally come empty handed and this place will have everything for you in terms of personal hygiene stuff. The washer/dryer is awesome. Free icecream, water, juice and wine are superb! The breakfast is awesome, but could use a variety for the week. We stayed for 9 nights and by the 4th day, I was all curried out lol. The entertainment system deserves a huge shout out as well. You can connect your own personal device and watch on a 100inch projector screen. I did sing my heart out with the karaoke. I definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back. The staff are also friendly and helpful.

Very novel concept. Buffet of toiletries downstairs with free face masks, samples of moisturisers, bath salts, all sorts of shampoos and bath gels. Huge array of house brand toiletries in room. Bunk beds. Karaoke machine. Jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was simple but nice. Curry rice. Croissants and Japanese porridge. Huge fridge. Aeon and Family mart nearby. Bigger Chinese and Korean supermarket short walk away. Many family restaurants nearby.

Staff were polite and attentive but speak almost no English. I had to use Google translate to communicate with them. Early check in is charged at 4000Yen per hour before 3pm.

- Location was about a 15 minute walk from the Shinjuku station but the smaller/local train station was right around the corner. - About a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Shinjuku - Right next to a Family Mart - Fresh towels, water and juice provided to the room daily - Washer/Dryer in the unit - Funny enough, we rarely saw staff and other hotel guests, so it was very quiet - The rooms had a projector that you could sync a laptop to for movies/music/etc. - One family suite per floor, so you felt like you have space/privacy/security - A ton of toiletries available - Really good $ value when compared to Airbnbs/Other hotels - Room had good AC and you were also able to open up the windows as needed.

- I'd say space is the biggest thing inside the room, when you have 6+ adults in one area, it gets cramped very quickly. - The family suites have 4 bunk beds and a queen, two blow up mattresses are available upon request but again, if you're sleeping 7 or 8, you run out of space very quickly. - Having a lot of people use one bathroom also gets tricky - Did not find much value in the breakfast but personally would rather eat outside the hotel

It was a beautiful, spacious room in a great location (short walking distance to train station, convenience stores & restaurants), free curry breakfast with milk bread, ochazuke rice, coffee/tea provided daily, complimentary snacks & drinks, and laundry facility included in room. Very relaxing atmosphere and the kids enjoyed the karaoke too.

Limited front desk service, no on-site restaurant, and we were unable to make the air conditioner temperature cooler in our room (which was pretty much set to warm).

10 min walk to the train station (Higashi Shinjuku or Shinjuku station). The staff were very friendly and tried to help even with limited English. The room comes with a working kitchenette, you can possibly cook a feast if you want to. Breakfast is curry with rice, and bread, would be nice if they do change it up a little. Fresh towels provided everyday. Also provided drinking water and juices everyday. There is no room cleaning service, guests are expected to make sure they keep the room clean. Comfy beds for all of us. Our kids were excited to have the Karaoke in the room. Great fun. The pantry of lotions and facial masks was delightful. Get to choose different type of masks everyday of our stay. There are explanations for most items apart from the Karaoke and AC remote. Maybe an English explanation would help non Japanese guests.

We are a family of 5 and it was difficult to find a room with enough beds. With this room you get the whole floor to yourselves and each of our children had a bunk bed with a curtain to after a full on day they could have some time to themselves before bed. The beds were so comfortable. The free toiletries range was extensive. The bath and the bathroom area in general felt luxurious. The curry and rice for breakfast was yummy. There is a smaller train station approx 5 minute walk from the hotel (Shinjuku sanchome). Family Mart is almost next door. We looked forward to returning to the room each day and missed Pasela when we changed location, nothing else compared.

Small issue of not being provided a code upon arrival to get into the main lobby. But we just called the number on the board that we could see inside the lobby and we were inside within 5 minutes.

Close proximity (1 min walk) to bus station for Meiji temple for instance. Only a few minutes walk to higashi-shinjuku metro station (much better than walking that 16-20 mins in the hot summer heat in Tokyo). Clean room. All amenities (tooth brush, facial washes of various kinds, hair shampoo and conditioners, free Japanese curry with rice and 3 different kinds of soups for breakfast daily) are supplied in the room as well as additional self-serve items on ground floor. Washer and dryer are combined in 1 unit within the apartment with sound-proof partition from our perspective. The bathtub was a bonus @ end of each long walking day. We didn’t utilize the in-room karaoke as we spent most day outdoor. The built-in kitchen is totally functional and suitable for preparing family meal (but why would you when street and local restaurants food are out of this world - yes, we picked places where locals would go). Love the ease of iPad-like kiosk check-in and building access. We all felt very safe. Totally no problem as street lights and surrounding commercial buildings are well lit without being intrusive (windows have very thick curtains) we even had a balcony that would comfortably fit 2-3 people @ a time. Free supplies of laundry detergents, water and tea bottles as needed. Totally free of charge.

Had to clean out the washer drainer the 1st night during laundry as we smelled something like musty water around the washer. The all-in-1 washer/dryer unit didn’t seem to put out much heat during drying… we just washed and dried the clothes by letting the machine did its thing b4 we went out each morning.

I stayed for 4 days and 5 nights at Hotel Pasela Living last week with my family (2 adults, 2 teens and 1 kid). The room was of adequate space and comfortable for the 5 of us. The room and bathroom were equipped with everything that is required for a convenient family stay. The karaoke was fun and the home cinema was perfect for relaxing and chilling with family after a whole day out. The breakfast was limited in variety but that wasn't really an issue. Another big advantage for this hotel is its location. The bus stop for the bus to Shinjuku and Shibuya stations were steps away from the hotel and we even walked to the Shinjuku Station which is 15 minutes away. The nearby locality had some very good eatery spots and shopping areas too.

May be some additional items/ variety of food for breakfast.

This was a great little apartment hotel. The kids loved the bunk beds with curtains they could close. It was quite spacious and very well provisioned. Free drinks which were replaced daily, delicious curry for breakfast, large bathroom area. The use of a washing machine in-room was a bonus. The location was excellent. Literally around the corner from a station and a larger supermarket. There were also a multitude of restaurants in the Eastside Station just a few metres down the road. The apartment was quiet at night.

Our only negative was that the drier didn’t actually dry anything.
