The hotel is a short walk from Sloterdijk Station. Check in was smooth and the staff were great. We didn’t opt for the breakfast but you can go up to the restaurant to grab a cup of coffee for free and the coffee was good! Rooms were excellent and so was the housekeeping. They have a Spar supermarket close by. The hotel also has some basics that you can purchase such as drinks, ice creams, chocolates etc. There are a few nice restaurants around as well.

The Wi-Fi was terrible in all ways. Not only did we barely have any network, it would keep losing signal if we moved around the room. For the short periods where it was connected, it was so slow we just decided to use our roaming pack instead.

My only complaint was that the bathroom sink did not have a plug. I reported this to the front desk and they tried to solve the problem. Despite great efforts (one staff even went to the store to buy a plug), the newly bought rubber plug did not fit the sink hole perfectly so could NOT hold water. The end result was I could not use the sink to wash my face for the whole time I stayed there.

Good breakfast - not much variations but enough items were served so I could change what I ate from day to day. Trains, tram lines, and long distance buses were all available at or near the station. But to find out where exactly to take them needs research.

We came for a festival near Sloterdijk, so Location was great! It's only one train station into the city center. Room was clean, we were able to get the room earlier than the checkin time. Everything was great.

The hotel is neat , clean and close to the Sloterdijk station as well as a supermarket. Beds were very comfy and the bathroom is lovely

Rooms are abit small but that’s a norm in Europe. There’s actually nothing else around the hotel to walk around and see. And not much restaurants or activity. You have to take the high speed train which takes 5mins to the city centre or the metro which takes about 30mins.

The location was very close to the train/bus station and was easy to get around amsterdam. The rooms were relatively quiet and the aircon/heating worked well. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. I hired a bike from the hotel for about 19EUR and that made it easier to get around the local area.

The twin room we chose had a frosted door for the bathroom that didn't have locks and it wasn't fully frosted there was tiny sliver that was see through. Sharing the twin room with family who are not your spouse was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows were too soft and needed bunching together to get the comfort level we wanted.

I like the Ambience and I loved my room. Always ask for room 204 it has the best view. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes. And it was very tasty. I stayed here on two different occasions because of how comfortable it was. And very close to a metro station

On my second stay I wanted a change of rooms, there were these two gentleman at the front desk that dismissed my complaint rudely but the next day two lovely front desk ladies came to my rescue and gave me a better room. I wish I could remember their names

It was a perfect location with the train station just directly opposite with a five minute train journey into the centre of Amsterdam or a 10 minute train journey to shipol airport.

The lighting was very dark in the room and there was no mirror at the dressing table then no plug socket near the one mirror which was in a very dark place of the room making it very difficult to get ready I could barely see to do my hair or make up luckily I took a tiny little pocket mirror and had to sit in front of the window to get ready which was very awkward. Definitely needs a mirror above the dressing table where the plugs are also located.

Overall hotel is quite new and well maintained, everything is working.

1) find a way from station to hotel using google map was a nightmare. Even though hotel is located near 2) self check-in. Seriously? I don't want to be a receptionist. I don't want to program the key card, i just don't want to do this job. I am guest and you are hosts. Why the hell should I be doing someone else's job? Do I get any money compensation because of it? 3) There are 2 hotels in 1 building with separate reception but common elevator. 4) almost not possible to find place to eat after 21:00 ... only drinks&snacks.

The hotel was very comfortable. The stuff were extremely out going and helpful. Bed and size of room was great.

1. I thought it was closer to the main ring of the city. Its not. My mistake (i thought its nearer), however, its 2 min walk from the station 15 min train/tram to anywhere you need. So its ideal for ppl with cars, families or anyone who doesn't want to be at the center all day. 2. I personally hate hiteks that you cannot open the windows. But the stuff were very nice a d unlocked my window. Great stay

Very Nice hotel , great shower room. Cleaners did a great job for us for a three night stay Staff friendly but limited interaction as out in the city most of the time One stop from Amsterdam Central station, 5 mins.
