Decent quality: Good continental breakfast, close to bus stop and 20 minutes walk to the center, comfortable bed. Very friendly and helping staff.

We did not like: the bathroom - pretty small and not sufficiently clean, difficult to use and fix water temperature in the shower, poorly isolated with water spilling out; towels too small and pretty much used; not sure food smell even on 4th floor.

We had a juniour suite- please message and ask for a newly renovated one as I believe all are not. It was so beautiful with lovely views Very good bus links to the centre and a petrol station next door that sells milk which was helpful as we had no fridge in room so we could buy a little mini gallon for one time uses

No one supported with our bags and we had 1 little children and a lot of bags. No one offered any help although they could see we were struggling to get it all to the hotel and then to the room so that was disappointing that they ignored this despite seeing us struggle Restaurant has very limited food choices

The breakfast was really great. It was probably the best part. Also, the hotel was about 10 minutes away by bus, and the stop was right by the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, so they said that we could have a free transportation pass for our stay, which was super convenient. The front desk worker was really patient and walked through our options on what tourist attraction options were right for us. Overall, we have a pretty solid experience.

The room smelled a little old. I wanted to replace towels, and they had a service where you scan a qr code to request room service, but I wasn't allowed to click it. But honestly, I went to the desk, and it wasn't an issue to request towels there.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was fantastic.

We were disappointed by a few unexpected charges that left a sour taste. Despite being located outside of main town (where you’d expect parking to be included as they have ample space), we were charged €20 per night for parking. We also had dinner at the hotel and were surprised to find extra charges for tap water and bread we didn’t request — something we weren’t expecting and hadn’t experienced elsewhere. Perhaps it’s common practice in parts of Europe, but clearer communication would have helped manage expectations. A few small things that added up, which was a shame given the otherwise pleasant stay.

old house expanded into a very comfortable and pleasant hotel. It has a restaurant, which is a plus, but its food is no more than ok. There is much space for outdoors parking, which will be charged even though they won't tell you in advance that they'll charge or how much they'll charge.

You can get into the staircase but not out as all doors are looked from the outside. If you don't like elevators, though. If the elevators happen to not be runing, which is what happened to me and several other guests, you're trapped. I had to call the front desk from my mobile. When I explained to the person who helped us that if there had been a fire we would all have died, she smiled and said, "yes, you probably would". That was the full extent of their concern.

Comfortable & Convenient – A Great Stop in Salzburg I stayed here for a short solo stop during a road trip through Austria, and it was exactly what I needed — clean, comfortable, and well-run. The location made it easy to explore Salzburg without any hassle, whether by foot or public transport. Parking was straightforward (a big plus when you’re on the road), and check-in was smooth and welcoming. The room itself was a pleasant surprise — spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfortable, and after a long drive, I really appreciated the quiet and quality of the space. Everything felt well thought out, from the lighting to the layout to the small touches that made the stay more enjoyable. Staff were friendly and professional, always available if I had a question or needed help. I didn’t stay long, but I left feeling well-rested and taken care of — which is exactly what you want on a road trip. No view from the room, but honestly, that didn’t matter. I was there to rest, recharge, and experience Salzburg, and this hotel delivered on all fronts. I’d definitely stay again for another short visit or stopover.

Room was lovely, breakfasts good. Great position to walk into Salzburg but also on the bus route. Very kindly helped us celebrate our anniversary with cake, fruit and rose petals. Thank you

The breakfast staff didn't give the same message to the customers. We were there 4 breakfasts before we realised as we finished our last one we could have ordered omelettes. The breakfast counter is not restocked quickly enough. We had to ask for fruit. I think the non coach parties should have been allowed in the quieter rooms. Staff also offered to get drinks for some customers but not us. Staff friendly to some, not everyone!

The location of the hotel is perfect. A lovely 10 minute walk to the centre and through a nice neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious, light, very clean and comfortable beds. The hotel has great spaces to relax with family/friends.

The hotel’s website advertises that the hotel offers free transportation for their guests to the airport. When we asked for this service we were told that they didn’t have staff to provide that service. This service was one of the reasons we booked this hotel

Arcotel location is amazing. Really close to city center on a very calm location. The room are spacious with a very good breakfast. The do the eggs as you choose and have good fresh gluten free bred.

The only room for improvement was the shower: Not enough water pressure; The water goes fro extra cold to extra hot on seconds, making the shower a challenge. 1/2 closed glass shower box does not protect from the water to make the entire bathroom wet after every shower. All easy to fix issues that I wd encourage Arcotel to fix.

Breakfast was very good and the staff in the dining area was exceptionally beter than the reception staff. Having breakfast on the beautiful green terrace with attentive staff was wonderful. Mr. Abbal Singh , Mr. Hischam and Ms. Kiran were very attentive staff. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

I missed a mini refrigerator in the room as i was working from my room some of these days. Reception staff could be more friendly.
