Breakfast selection was very good and dining room bright and comfortable. Location was good and we could walk most places we wanted to get to. Our room was in it's own section at the end of the hall and we appreciated the greater privacy. Although exterior of building was unremarkable, the interior was in excellent condition and all was very clean. Good value for the money.

Room was a bit small, but we weren't bothered by it. Across the road was some kind of music studio/drop in and a couple of times we could hear the thump of loud music in our rooms in the early evening. Fortunately this did not go on long or late so it wasn't much of a problem overall.

Easy check in and very helpful staff, especially in providing information about how to get to main part of town and attractions etc. The room was clean and comfortable and what I would normally expect of this hotel chain, bed was comfortable. Quite close to a large store/gas station which had a comprehensive range of food and other groceries.

Slightly noisy road and all rooms face this. Also a long way from the town centre but I have to blame my own lack of research for this, really. We got our step count up, on the upside!

Breakfast buffet highlight - everyone including our two teenage kids found many delights to enjoy here, including omelettes and fried eggs to order, local breads, cheeses and meats (including leberwurst, yum!), and reasonable coffee machine (as Aussie coffee snobs). Good location - walking distance to old town but quiet at night. Many great Austrian restaurants nearby (Fuxn, Die Weisse, Johanneskeller). We had two rooms, views from our King Room on Level 5 amazing for watching spring snowfall. Bath and mini-gym bonuses.

Parking a bit pricey, but probably commensurate with what is available in Salzburg (20euro per night undercover, 10euro outside pending availability). Rooms dimly lit. Twin room had no hair conditioner or body lotion provided. Rooms generally tight but workable. No fridge.

We had a stop-over in Salzburg in between two train journeys and this hotel is reasonably close to the station, opposite a petrol station with shop. Room with bathroom was clean, tidy and comfortable. It has aorconditioning as well. Room was sound proof so no noise any time. The hotel is walking distance from the Salzach, so we took a stroll during the early evening.

They wanted to take our credit card details ‘in case there would be a problem with the room’. We gave them those, but don’t like it at all to give everybody where we stay our credit card details. Feels like giving a blanc cheque. It’s not the prettiest part of town, so if you’re staying longer and/or want something in a nice looking part of Salzburg, this may not be your hotel, but we just wanted to be close to the station ans sleep well.

The breakfast had a great variety and it was all delicious and well stocked even though we went down late. The provided toiletries were excellent quality and plentiful and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful and it was only a ten minute walk to the edge of the shopping/restaurant area and the same to Mirabell so really convenient but without the sounds of people late at night.

The electric blind on the outside of the window kept us awake during the nights as it was slapping around in the wind and if we left it up the room was too light.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff were super friendly and very helpful with all our questions. Great dinner suggestion of Die Weisse just a short walk away! We went there twice during our stay! Location was decent, walking distance to a beautiful shopping area as well as tourist attractions.

Unfortunately during our stay the 24 hr bar in the lobby was closed almost the entire time due to the bartender being sick. We were looking forward to going there for a night cap or a coffee in the evening, and was part of the reason we chose this hotel. Would have been especially nice on the rainy night we were there. We were surprised there was no backup person to keep it open.

We (a couple) had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn. The hotel's location is convenient as it can be reached easily from the city centre, either by a 10-15 minute walk or by taking a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. It is easy to reach and come back from the city centre. The check-in process was straightforward and the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was immaculate and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning system worked flawlessly, keeping the room warm in spite of the freezing temperature outside. The kettle with cups and tea/coffee bags were a nice addition. The room had a full wall-sized window, offering a nice view of the street and a snow-covered hill. The street was quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping during the night. The room's lighting was tasteful and relaxing, with a dim theme that set a calming atmosphere during the evening and night. However, it might not be suitable for formal online meetings. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, allowing for uninterrupted video streaming throughout the room. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean, with a full-sized bathtub, good quality shampoo, soap, and towels that were replaced daily. The hotel's interior was very attractive and welcoming, and we enjoyed spending time in the reading area, which had comfortable chairs and a few books. The breakfast was excellent, with many options available for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Although the menu remained the same for four days, there were so many options that we couldn't try them all. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for a few days of your stay.

Nothing to add, really.

The location is a plus. You can walk to everywhere, old town, meeting tour locations, restaurants, etc. It also appears the hotel is in a safe area because we returned very late during the 3 night-stay.

The size of the room is relatively small though the room is well coordinated from an open closet, safe box, table and chairs. It would be a plus if the TV is a smart TV.

It was nice to have a parking within property. Also the location is good. Not too close to old town and at the same time walkable to attractions.

There was no refrigerator in room which should have been there. Also the breakfast spread was short of expectations. Considering that there is no restaurant, atleast the breakfast has to be good. We are vegetarians however even otherwise the breakfast spread was very thin bordering unacceptable.

- Best pancakes in the world. The breakfast is also good. They provided some gluten free additional options as well when I asked for it. - Reception staff very helpful - Gym not bad - Chef at breakfast very helpful and can communicate well

- Showers/bathrooms can be upgraded - No fridge in the rooms - Staff at breakfast can barely speak any english. This was extremely frustrating. If you stay in a hotel you’d expect the staff to at least be able to speak some english.
