Everything was absolutely great. We didn't do a lot of research when booking the accommodation and were pleasantly surprised by the stunning view from the window.

As we were travelling by car and booked the hotel through booking.com, this site could also have more detailed information about parking. This is important for a foreign tourist who is not familiar with the local conditions. That's why we only looked for hotels with parking. Once we had paid for the room, when we checked, it turned out that the hotel did not guarantee a parking space. In fact, it turned out that there was another paid 24/7 underground car park on the street, with plenty of spaces available. In the end, we had a great room with a great view right in the centre of town, and the car was parked safely 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is in a lovely location. The hotel staff were also helpful. You can't ask for anything better.

The hotel itself is very modern, clean, spacious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, with something to suit everyone, and the food was of really good quality. The room we stayed in (premium twin room with a river view) was spotless, very spacious, and came with a beautiful view of the river. I couldn’t say one single bad thing about our stay here.

The hotel is great, located right up at the waterfront in the centre of Gdansk. The rooms are really lovely with comfy beds, great bathrooms and a nicely done nautical theme. Breakfast was quite honestly amazing and children eat for free when accompanying their paying parents, which frankly is just brilliant. There were lots of Polish specialities at breakfast, try them, you won’t be disappointed. The area around the hotel is bustling and bursting with ice cream shops, food trucks and restaurants. For cheaper but equally appealing alternatives, head into the historic centre and down the parallel side streets. Here you will avoid the busy tourist traffic inevitably drawn to the main thoroughfare. Eat at Pomelo, great staff and excellent Polish cuisine. If you’re looking for a quieter alternative to Gdansk, drive the 40 minutes to Elblag, equally as pretty but much quieter and definitely worth a look!

The hotel is freshly built in a newly developed area right next to the old town. There is a pedestrian bridge that takes you right to the Zuraw Crane and other historical buildings. There is an alley of new restaurants and bars for all tastes next to the hotel. Underground parking is limited and cannot be booked in advance, but it is highly recommended if you can find a place. It costs 120 PLN per day. The interior is very warm and bright with high quality materials used throughout. We had the family room with a corner view and an extra sofa and it was wonderful. Large, with a nice view of the river and the ferris wheel in the distance, a desk to work on. Some rooms look out onto the inner courtyard, so be careful when choosing, if it matters for you. The bathroom had a full bath with a thermostatic tap. It had heated floor (although we couldn't figure out when it was turned on) and a heated mirror. Sound insulation was pretty good, we couldn't hear our neighbors at all, but there was some sound from the street during the New Years eve, but this is understandable. At other times the streets around the hotel are not too noisy. Breakfast was good and it's served until 10:30-11:00, which is great for those who like to get up later. Maybe the hotel wasn't full, but contrary to other reviewers there were enough tables for everyone. The selection of food is quite decent with interesting local extras like salads and herring and healthy options like fruit and smoothies. Coffee was good. All in all it was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and even though it's not one of the cheapest, it was well worth the price.

There is very little to fault, but here are some points that could be improved: - I wish the TV had built in Chromecast functionality so that you could watch Netflix or Youtube. You can hook up your own HDMI cable, though. - It was not clear what makes the floor heat up in the bathroom - All lights, except the ones by the bed turn on and off at once - Better orange juice for breakfast would be nice

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Very handy for a lot of the tourist sites and some really good restaurants and bars. I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, defeats the purpose of a holiday but it was clean, comfortable with a good restaurant/bar area with a very good breakfast available. But it's main selling point is the location, can't fault it. The car park was very handy too, it is small with limited spaces but I was travelling by motorcycle so managed to stick it in a corner so I didn't take up a space so they discounted the parking fees for me, excellent.

Perfect location in Gdansk, nice modern rooms.

The staff were not very forthcoming. When booking I asked for a quiet room with two single beds. We were given a room with two single beds overlooking two Irish pubs which made noise til 2 am. We couldn’t sleep with the windows open. When I spoke to the front desk I was told to close the windows and to put on air conditioning. There were rooms available on the quiet side of the hotel, but there were only double beds, but I was not made aware of it when booking and was not given the choice. Also, when checking in, the reception clerk tried very hard to sell the hotel breakfast which I think is overpriced compared with all the options around the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! We booked a king suite and it's perfect for a family with kids: it's spacious, with separate bedroom and sitting room, bed and sofa bed are very comfortable, the bathroom is huge with both shower and bath, nice view on the river. The hotel is right behind the Motławą riverside walk, packed with nice restaurants and bars and the old town is just across the river. The area could be quite lively in the evening but we couldn't hear a single noise from the room thanks to the soundproof windows. I recommend the breakfast, plenty of choice for everyone. We tried the skybar and I really liked the ambiance and cocktails, also the staff was very nice and helpful. Last but not least, the gym is always open, well equipped and spot clean (remember to bring clean trainers!). I would definitely stay again.

I wouldn't have chosen to use carpet in such a new and stylish hotel, I find it oudated. I would add some hangers in the bathroom.

The location was perfect. Loved the view from our room over the marina. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Good tv channels to choose from. Air con was quiet and effective. The breakfast was delicious with good selection. I also liked the room decor and the water carafe in the room which could be filled up with a water from the water dispenser available to the hotel guests. I must also mention amazing Sky Bar! The view from this place was unforgettable! The food and drinks there were both great! And my son enjoyed free popcorn on each visit 😀. Thank you Holiday Inn!

Didn’t like the food (dinner) in the main restaurant downstairs. Żurek and rosòł didn’t taste authentic, and we didn’t like the flavours.

The location of hotel is perfect! It is next to downtown and various restaurants and bars. We have spent there 5 nights and were totally happy with our selection. The room were located at third floor and we did find everything we need for our 4 person family. We had very quite, tidy and confortable stay. The view outside windows was fantastic. The breakfast menu has lot of selection of fresh meals, fruits, vegetables and bread.

The location is unbelievably gorgeous. And the hotel is clean

I stayed in Room 405. The reception girl helped me to book the taxi to airport and she emphasized that their hotel signed agreement with the taxi company which is safe and trustable. The fare will be 95 Polish złoty , which is around 26 USD. When I asked if any tricks or the taxi driver will increase the price later, she answered “No, they won’t. Just 95 Polish złoty.” OK, 26 minutes later arriving at the airport of Gdansk, the taxi driver charged me 38.84 USD by credit card, which is 50% more. And I paid 38.84 USD.
