This was our second stay in this because: The breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and lots of fresh fruits and freshly baked bread is very satisfying. The Blue Room at Seaview Escape is spacious and clean. The location is perfect in a quiet nice area with easy access to the promenade. The highlight: we were in the midst of the massive nationwide power outage in Portugal. Everywhere was shut down as no electricity and no internet. Everyone is completely cut off from the outside world, it was totally out of this world and seemed living in a movie: gas station closed, cash-only at super market, airport is mayhem and shut down, no restaurants. Staff in the hotel shared as much information to hotel guests and really showed empathy to us. They went extra mile to put a nicely done barbeque dinner for all hotel guests ensuring we were properly fed. They called it "survival BBQ" but it was far from survival, in fact it was a fantastically properly done bbq dinner with lots of different tasty meats from fish to beef, and various types of grilled healthy vegetable. The breakfast on the next day was as good as their normal days. Salute to the Hotel Manager Cristovao Silva, all the chefs who worked hard on the bbq and the breakfast, the front desk staff and the concierge! You guys are amazing! I would highly recommend your hotel to my families and friends from Asia!

I thought the staff were very professional at all times, The breakfast was delicious and there was ample choice. The room was lovely and spacious. We found the aircon to be too loud and hard to work so we did ask reception to assist. Location wise, you couldn't possibly get a better location to be fair..walking distance to the town and to the marina.

the Shower in the room was a little underwhelming and hard to get in and out of. It was fine for us but would be impossible for an elderly person. we did ask reception to direct us to a nice beach and they did, however it was an hour away and we were caught in traffic both ways which wasn't ideal but the beach was lovely. Surely there are nice beaches closer to Cascais though?

Recommended by a local friend, this is a real "Grand Dame", on the ocean front and in the centre of Cascais. Beautiful room, large, with a great ocean view from the private balcony. Helpful and very kind staff, available around the clock. Very large pool, with sun loungers and staff to help & serve. Nice terrace for lunch and cocktails. Enormous breakfast buffet with gluten- and lactose-free options, and staff happy to get anything else one would like. A great stay, unfortunately too short, but I will be back! Thank you to the team.

I loved everything..... although the gym could use an upgrade.

The hotel is in a great location of Cascais, everything is walkable. Breakfast is really good, plenty of choices but I had hoped for some items cooked to order instead of being on warming plates, things like pancakes and french toasts were often cold. The staff was helpful, very friendly and attentive.

No hot breakfast items cooked to order. We had a suite in the small villa part and while it was very comfortable, the decor felt stuck in the Eighties. Not really what I expected from a hotel like this.

Portuguese style ,hospitality and professionalism at its best. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated with a warm courteous welcome.The Belvedere restaurant ambience, staff and menu are to be highly recommended. As is the terrace restaurant for lunch . Breakfast needs a specific mention. Absolutely wonderful fresh options for all palates. All staff here needs to be mentioned ,from managers to waiting staff. Nothing was an inconvenience to them. Our room was spacious. Perfect temperature, clean with lovely soft towels. Single use plastic here to be commended. Gym areas always clean and well air-conditioned. Spa area and treatment were like a little cocoon of care and attention. For a wellbeing reset and relax break, this hotel ticks all the boxes!

We were upgraded to a suite with a big varanda and amazing sea views! The location is beautiful, walking distance to downtown and the hotel is very comfortable. The entire staff was very agreeable, kind, helpful and we appreciated the turndown service while enjoying the spa. To top up, the breakfast was absolutely perfect - best pastel de natas ever :) Lastly, no issues to leave our luggages for a few extra hours after checkout, while we strolled in the city. We will be back!

Our stay started off on the wrong foot from the very beginning. We arrived at the reception area and were greeted with a less than friendly disposition by your staff (don't want to make any assumptions, but perhaps it was because we were 2 women with a 13 year old child). He quickly misinformed us that the room we had selected was only for 2 adults. Obviously, we had our reservation that stated very clearly that it was for 2 adults plus a 13 year-old child. He still did not believe us and had my friend send over the reservation confirmation via e-mail to him. His attitude towards us never changed, making us feel uneasy, which is something I have never experienced in other hotel (and yes, I have travelled a lot, generally to higher-end hotels). Even if he was having a bad day, it doesn't justify the way we were treated. In regards to the room, it had a pleasant size, with all the amenities I expected. The balcony was quite large, with a nice view, but didn't have any chairs to enjoy the scene. The sofa was dated, with multiple stains on it (very strange for a 5-star hotel), so we spent most of our time indoors on the bed. The rest of our stay was very enjoyable, from the excellent breakfast, fantastic staff at the breakfast area and the reception the day after our arrival. Its a pity that a perfectly nice weekend was ruined by your staff member at arrival and somewhat dated furniture.

In my opinion, the indoor pool + sauna should be included for hotel guests. We had to pay 20€ each for 1 hour using these services.

Wonderful location with sea views and an easy walk to the lighthouse, marina, and in to town. Nice large rooms. And wonderful staff - except for an unyielding manager when it came to the music they play.

The terrible techno music that they play. We went to have relaxing sunset drinks on the terrace, but the music was so bad we asked twice if they could change it, or at least turn it down, but to no avail. And we were not the only ones. Rather than stay for a second drink, we left in an effort to find some peace and quiet. If we wanted a “club” atmosphere, we would have gone to a club. This is not the kind of hotel for that kind of music.

I was surprised how well maintained the property is, rooms are beautiful and spacious. Breakfast is great and staff is kind. Everything is bery clean including the pool.

There was a mixup at the checkin- they sent us to a wrong room with another guests stuff in it already. They also couldn’t tell us clearly if we could get an early checkin & finally our room was ready at 3:05. Also slippers in the room they were reused & yellow which I found strange for a 5 star hotel.
