Hotel was immaculate, breakfast could not be better with a wide choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants etc. within easy walking from the hotel. The rooms facing the canal/river are the best and ideally you want to be on the fifth floor.

The breakfast was really nice, a lot of variety, the room was a bit small but not a big deal. The bathroom was really nice except for the mirror that was really small. The view from the breakfast room is amazing! The staff is also really caring and nice! I recommend

The only small thing that could be improved is the menu they propose at the pool area. They could offer some snack but once again, not a big deal. Also, there is only 3 sunbeds that have sun until the end of afternoon, the others are in the shadow.

Room was beautiful and clean. Location was amazing - 2 blocks from the busy party district, but so quiet at night! Front desk staff were very helpful. The pool was nice to have in the heat and the rooftop bar was great. The nespresso machine in the room was nice, my first time having good coffee in Thailand all trip!

Breakfast spread could’ve had a bit more vegetarian options.

The hotel is situated in the old town which is great for sightseeing. The rooms are lovely! Comfy beds and pillows, good air con, good shower and safe. Rooftop Pool is an added bonus - great to take a break from all the sightseeing. Bar has good range of drinks and nice cocktails. Reasonable prices too. Pool towels also provided. ATM right outside and a 7 11 across the street. Free water provided in room, a fridge and there is a mini bar and snack which are chargeable. Free snacks at reception. Hotel was very helpful when we requested a late checkout. Staff are so polite & helpful.

The actual pool could be cleaner as the tiles in the pool looked a bit grubby. Our room didn’t have a nice view but that didn’t really bother us at all.

Pretty and immaculate hotel with great color schemes. Old Siam photos and art really let you know you are in the heart of Thailand. Lift to the upper floors, help with baggage and wonderful staff. What truly amazed me was the fresh coffee maker in the room. I had a river view and spent a long time watching people get on with their day, the fish, monitor lizards, and birds. The standard is extremely high and is fantastic value for money. Superb location with much of what is important to see in Bangkok close by. I rate this as the best hotel I have ever stayed in in this price bracket. Professional management and team make this a gem, and I will most definitely use this as my go-to Bangkok hotel.

Nothing, it was all perfect.

We stayed at Casa Vimaya twice during our trip. Both stays were excellent and we would definitely stay there again. The first stay was for 3 nights and and this room was the better of the two. It was on the level 5 and in a corner, overlooking the canal, it was very quiet. The night we stayed at Casa Vimaya on our return to Bangkok we had a room on the 4th floor in between two other rooms, still overlooking the canal, this room was a little noisy, but not too bad. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean, the pool was a welcome relief from the heat of Bangkok.

The low level noise on our second stay was the worst thing, but this wasn't really too bad.

Very nice , colonial building. Nicely decorated,great quality sleeping . Varied and tasty breakfast, helpful staff. Location very nice close to popular streets with lots of options for eating and massages.

Area less well connected by public transport, so we used Grab a lot, air conditioning a bit too noisy. Smell from the river not the nicest especially with the heat (but not unbearable )Breakfast area that is inside with air conditioning is rather small, the terrace was way too hot for us to really enjoy breakfast.

The hotel is modern and the room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Although there aren’t loads of options for breakfast, the food tasted very nice and staff were very welcoming. Close to some of the temples and a night market

We would have benefited with instructions on how to use the aircon as it wasn’t straight forward. Our room had a step between the room and bathroom which was dangerous as it’s very easy to miss it and trip. The floors in the room are also very slippery (even when not wet) so be careful!

Comfortable room and beds. Quiet location as long as you have a room overlooking the canal. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was pretty good…the usual hotel buffet. But with decent coffee which was nice. We were able to access our room very early in the morning which was great as we’d just got off the night train and were exhausted. Good location for the Khao San area and the palace and Wats. Lots of nearby restaurants and bars.

The air conditioning was noisy. It sounded like a washing machine running all night. The rooftop pool would have been lovely, great views over the city. However, being quite a small area it was ruined for us by the hotel allowing other guests to use it as a smoking zone. You couldn’t get away from the smell and smoke so we didn’t use it. Which was disappointing. A little bit expensive.

Comfortable and cosy room with small balcony overlooking the river. Small swimming pool on the rooftop is good to relax particularly during morning and evening hours. It’s location is good with walking distance to local restaurants some attractions Breakfast buffet, though not very huge but good enough with selections of fruits, salads, soup, and main dishes. Staff offered to specially prepare vegetarian dishes for me. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Negatives: Doesn’t have any shuttle service to either airport or city shopping centres. Doesn’t have its own spa though there are a plenty of massage and spas close by.
