Everything! Staff were delightful and always ready to help with a smile. The beach was excellent, golden sand, 10 meters from our bungalows. The water temperature was perfect - one could literally spend the whole day in it. There's a beach bar and restaurant, and the Thai food was epic. The beach was quiet and practically private. The location is at the west end on the beach and a 10m walk west leads to a viewpoint and a secluded beach bar called the Black Rose. Towards the east, there is a pier right next to the resort from where boats head to Panghan and Tao multiple times a day. A walk along the beach 10 mins east leads to another delightful and secluded beach bar. The resort is next to a small village called OK Village. We loved the chilled out local vibe and stayed within OK village for 5-6 days very happily. Local places to check out are: GiGi's massage - the best massage I've ever had. My Place and Yui restaurants - incredible Thai curries. Hour Bar - super friendly and welcoming guys. If you want to venture to other areas, like Fisherman's Village or Chawang the resort offers a one way transfer at 5pm everyday for free. Our beach bungalows were outstanding, they were right next to the beach and pool and had all the amenities to make it a super comfortable stay. Honesty, a little piece of heaven.

The level of chlorine in the pool was too much for us. Stung the eyes, and after a couple of dips we didn't use the pool and swam in the sea everyday instead.

This is a difficult one to review. I should easily be giving them a 10 star review. The staff are fantastic. Helpful in so many ways and I'd give them 10 stars 🌟 . The included breakfast was OK. The hotel menu what we ate was always good. The bar and restaurant staff were great. Our eventual room was lovely. The pool, beach and restaurant location is lovely.

On arrival the room we were given was awful. Poorly maintained the shower was terrible and the room smelled. The size was small to say the least. This really was a kick in the teeth after 20 hours travelling and caused tension to say the least. We had to upgrade at an extra cost of 900 baht per night. All I can say is do not book the standard rooms (I think the hotel call them superior. Which is seriously missleading!!!) Our room was sub standard. My advice to the hotel. Seriously think about upgrading these rooms with a refit. You are doing yourself a miss service. I wouldn't pay half of what you charge for those rooms.

Coco Palm Beach Hotel on Samui is a great place to stay if you like original Thai hotels and don't expect a 5 star resort. Good middle class bungalows, simple but clean. Everything you need is in the complex. Worth mentioning are all the employees in all areas who always have a smile on their faces, just like you know from Thailand. There is a restaurant, a VSR and a delicious breakfast buffet. there is always something for everyone. Nearby is massage, delicious restaurants and a mini market. It's about a 2 km walk to the main street or you can rent a scooter directly opposite the hotel. You can get a scooter for around eight euros a day. Depending on how long the rental period is. There are plenty of sun loungers on the hotel's beach, which are also complemented by loungers by the pool. The pool is large enough, but only suitable for swimmers. Children can go swimming there with water wings and adults can also go swimming. There are enough shaded areas on the beach and also by the pool. Parasols, among other things, also ensure this. Each bungalow has a terrace where you can sit in peace in the evenings. And because the hotel is the fair pier where you can go to the neighboring island for around twelve euros. It's definitely worth taking a day trip there. The bar also sometimes has happy hour where they offer cocktails for half the price. This is highly recommended. The food in the restaurant is good. It's a bit more expensive than outside. But the relationship is still normal in the restaurant. There are electric shuttles in the complex that can take you from the entrance to your bungalow. There is no charge for it, but the driver is always happy to receive a little tip. Just like all the other employees who do their best every day, everyone is happy about a few baht/euro tips. The dogs in the complex are all very friendly. You still shouldn't feed her. We were in the complex for three weeks and took a close look at Ko Samui.

The accommodation is a decent size. It's dark wood and traditional Thai style.There is seating outside and the space is good for drying swimwear. The pool is a good size and you are a stone's throw from a clean beach which is great for swimming. There are a few really good restaurants near by and a couple of bars. It's a quiet area which suits families and couples.

Location was perfect and overlooked a beautiful beach. The ferry is located right next door which is useful for those travelling via boat or wanting a day trip to another island. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was easy to catch a taxi from the resort to visit other places around the island. Daily buffet breakfast was good, with different foods daily. The other lunch and dinner menu offered lots of options and were tasty and well priced. The pool side bar was a perk with happy hour and a beautiful view. Having our own private pool was perfect for us. But we also used the shared pool and beach which were clean and well maintained. The shuttle was offered daily to Fisherman’s Village night markets or Chaweng which was really useful and easy to book.

It is very close to the pier and although that for some is a bonus for me a negative. I get up early to watch the sunrise a bonus of this area. The engines were often running on the ferries from 6:30 They are very close and very ugly so it completely obscured your view of the beautiful long beach. I had read it was close but hadn’t realised it was literally next door. You get use to it but i’d rather be further away and pay a taxi fare for the convenience of getting to the ferry.

Second time in Samui but first in that resort. The best location in Maenam, and almost the best of the island. Very quiet and relaxing, you only hear the birdsongs. The nature is everywhere (birds, squirells,...) and the gardens are luxurious. The beach is perfect and clean (probably the best for a long stay). No tides preventing swimming, unlike many beaches on the island at this moment of the year. The team is very very kind and smiling. Full breakfast with a lot of choices, great massages, bungalow perfect. A lot of restaurants, 7-11 and everything you need walking distance. We spent 3 weeks there and we will come back!!!

This was a delightful spot that grew on me more and more each day we stayed. Lovely basic but comfortable bungalows in a beautifully kept resort. The pool was fab and the beach was beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and varied and the staff looked after us so well. You r right next to the pier which when u go there is chaotic but the slow hum of the boats coming and going is strangely comforting and fun to watch. You r walking distance to lots of relaxed restaurants and shops. We even managed to find a little shop to get a fishing rod for our son and a fab place next to Tony’s to get all our washing done at a great price. If you want a family friendly resort with a relaxed vibe away from the chaos but close to aminities this is the place for you.

Nothing really it was a little bit more basic than I was expecting for the price but really comfortable.

I stayed here for 9 nights with my boyfriend, dad and his girlfriend and we had an amazing stay. The resort is big enough with lots to do nearby - very good location. The resort is right on the beachfront. We went in April and didn't struggle with securing a sunbed at the beach or pool. The hotel is right near a pier so you can jump on boats to visit other islands. The room was spacious and we had a comfy bed. The room was cleaned daily and provided fresh towels, water and toilet roll etc. The breakfast was okay, a little repetitive but we were there for 9 nights! Wasn't an issue as we always found something to eat there. The lunch/dinner at the restaurant (which you pay for separately) was delicious, lots of thai and western food on offer and it was the best food we have ever had at a resort. Location was really good. There is a laundrette right outside the hotel, lots of massage shops and restaurants nearby (only a walk away). Lots of places to rent mopeds for good value for money - we rented one the whole trip and thoroughly enjoyed it - it ensured we could visit other areas of the island super fast! The pool area was clean and was tested daily which ensured the feeling of safety. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return :)

The only thing would be to have more options at breakfast and perhaps some entertainment on the beach/at hotel in the evenings - other hotels had fire shows at the beach and other things to do in the evening which would have been great to have here as it is pretty near perfect!

I highly recommend Coco Palm! We stayed the night prior to an early morning ferry and couldn't have asked for a better location. The pier was right at the edge of the resort conveniently next to where breakfast is served. The room was very spacious and was very clean. The staff were amazing and are often available to transport you via buggy if needed. There is a spa on site at which we had a great massage. In addition, the resort is on a very nice part of the beach. Our check-in for the ferry was at 7 am and the staff confirmed that we could check out of the hotel, check in for the ferry, and come back for breakfast. This was very convenient.
