Staff were fantastic and always smiling. The place was practically deserted when we arrived so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was brilliant with real barista coffee and a great selection of yummy egg options. Happy hour only went for 2 hours but the 50% off was very welcome!! Hotel provides a free ride to the closest beach, Lamai. Dropped us off at 11:30 and were there to pick us up at 4:30. There is a private beach with the hotel so you get the luxury of not sharing with loads of people, for us we were the only ones on it most of the time. Hotel has scooters available for hire also.

Considering it was low season, the price could've been reduced further. Location was a bit far away from any action however if you are after a low key relaxing few days like we were, it is perfect. Chaweng Beach is a taxi ride away, not close enough to walk. Pool was under construction which the hotel hadn't advertised when we booked. Fortunately we were still able to swim during our stay.

Most of all, we loved the hotel's spa facilities - 2 outdoor jacuzzi baths and an outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs. Every day, there was also Happy Hour when they served drinks for half price. We were accommodated in a spacious bungalow with a table, chairs, and hammock outside. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and cheap. You could also order dishes to be served to your room. The resort has a private beach access with sun shades and deckchairs. It is set in beautiful scenery with plenty of sitting space, a playground for kids, and lush plants. We were also grateful to the amazing staff, especially receptionists who welcomed us not only with a drink but even delicious coconut ice cream. Highly recommended.

The only thing that wasn't communicated to us before was that in the afternoon, it was impossible to swim in the ocean on the hotel beach as it would become very shallow, sticky, and smelly due to low tide. For this reason, it felt like swimming in hot soup.

What an amazing place! Staff are just the best and couldn't rate this place high enough! Breakfast is great and the views are just amazing! Everyone is so helpful and such a peaceful place, we had a big group and some nights were later than others and the everyone was so accommodating and helpful! We had a couple little ones and it was perfect! Happy hour is great! We had the big 2 bedroom place with our own pool and it was fantastic! Views of the ocean every morning and such a large space. Cleaning everyday was just spectator! Close enough to bars and resturants and 30 min walk to lamai or quick taxi! Private beach is great and we all enjoyed it. Would recommend 100%!

Staff are very kind and attentive. Room was clean. Daily housekeeping service was excellent. The pool was nice to swim in. We had a seaview suite and the view was amazing to wake up to for 2 weeks we stayed here. It’s located in the quiet side of Lamai. You will need transport to get to Lamai night market but we had rent a car which was not a problem for us. Overall enjoyed our stay and was comfortable.

The beach was rocky and so many seaweed you couldn’t go for a comfortable swim. Would have been nice if this was shown in the pictures.

Nice and clean pool area. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. A few restaurants within a walking distance.

Beach was not as we expected - water level was low and the beach was not tempting. Yet Lamai beach was nice and within a short taxi journey.

Breakfast was good. Decent selection of breakfast items in the buffet and the ordered food was good. Pool was nice as well as small but fairly private beach area. Our 2 rooms were sea view just above the beach, so had great views and privacy. Rooms were spacious. Hotel staff were great and very helpful when needed. Grounds and beach area were kept very clean. Bike, shuttles and excursions could be booked through the front desk. Location was a little further out from Lamai beach than expected, but walkable. Scooters were available and taxis were cheap. Early breakfast box could be requested if you had to leave for an early excursion. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Could have had some paddle boards for guests

The staff were exceptional, nothing was to much trouble. Extremely well run resort and attention to detail.loved the location and private beach. Whilst a little outside the main town there were lots of lovely cafes & restaurants close by. A 5 min walk to the Grandfather/mother rocks and the vibes eclectic street leading to it.

The cost of spa treatments very high considering lots of massage places around offering great treatments at less then half the price. All bungalows are not equal, do not necessarily assume that your bungalow will look like the promo pics. We booked 2 bungalows for us (couples) and our friends. Ours was significantly superior, absolutely fantastic, whilst our friends were much smaller, darker and had a few problems. These were instantly rectified and the management very responsive, however, our bungalow was much larger, better laid out, and very spacey and light.

We spent a nice week in one of bungalows. Room was large as well as the bathroom, there was daily cleaning, and nice evening ritual when staff lights a candle on the porch. Everyone us really nice and helpful. Breakfast ok. Hotel restaurant very good, the best is to eat at the table with the roof on the beach. Pool is clean, with many sun beds. Beach is nice but dependent on tides. On high tide it disappears…and the sea starts right at restaurant molo.

The surrounding area. The hotel is located next to very busy road so the noise (especially from trucks and strong motorcycles is permanent). Our room was far from reception so our sleep was not disturbed. But if you want to walk outside of hotel, you do not feel comfortable because of the traffic.

We had a very nice suite with a magnificent view . Room was spacious, great bathroom with deep bath , suite was nicely appointed & spotlessly clean . Great deck with another lovely bath . Room beautifully decorated on our arrival but we did have to laugh , as the artistically arranged swans had a wee sign saying Happy Honeymoon- we have been married 54 years !! Was nice to celebrate our anniversary though … Lovely restaurant, pool & swim-up bar . Staff were really nice & friendly & a very good value laundry service . V good breakfast - thnx especially to Aom , Max & all the other nice staff . A relatively handy walk to shops . Lama coffee v close & excellent coffee .

As my husband had a stroke a couple of years ago & has a stick the steps especially to beach a bit problematic , but we could look at the view from our deck . The barman down there was extremely helpful to my husband on the one day we went down .

Staff and breakfast were great. Food was good quality and locally produced with some western options. Servicing of room brilliant and little touches like a candle on the balcony each night. Pool and spas were super clean. Hanging out by the pool was our favourite thing. Happy hours nightly on some bar drinks. We had a late flight and still hung out at the pool all day and offered a shower and facilities to freshen up after we checked out.

We were offered an early check but not able to get in early. Room was small. . Our room was quite small. Visa machine was not working in paying our bar tab when checking out
