Tranquil Oasis Near Patong Beach: A Family Stay at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa Our family recently enjoyed a stay at the Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, nestled in the vibrant surroundings of Phuket, near Patong Beach, Thailand. Our overall experience was pleasant, with the resort offering a tranquil retreat despite its proximity to the bustling Patong area. The location of Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, while not directly on the beach, is still convenient. Situated on the other side of a busy street from Patong Beach, it took us approximately 20 minutes to walk to the lively city center. While the location is not as central as some other options, the distance provided a welcome respite from the bustling crowds, allowing for a quieter atmosphere within the hotel premises. The hotel itself exuded a peaceful ambiance. The well-designed layout and landscaping created a serene environment that felt like a true escape. Our room was impressively spacious and efficiently organized, providing a comfortable retreat for our family. The quiet surroundings within the hotel allowed us to relax and recharge after our daily explorations. The staff at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa were consistently friendly and attentive. From check-in to dining experiences, their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast offerings at the resort were a highlight of our mornings. The diverse selection of dishes catered to various tastes, and the quality of the food was commendable. It provided a delightful start to our days of exploration in Phuket. The pools at the resort were a great feature. Well-maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, they provided a refreshing escape. The option to unwind by the poolside after a day of sightseeing added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay.

The room itself was huge with separate living area and bedroom. the Private pool was also big and so private and secluded from the rest of the resort and also the neighboring villa's, you felt like you never needed to leave. The view from the villa was the best part and very unforgettable, especially at sunset, you felt like you were at the tallest point of Phuket. The staff treated you like royalty staying in the villa, making sure they gave you the best experience such as organizing a huge breakfast platter to come to your room instead of doing the trip down and ensuring all your needs are met. Breakfast buffet was amazing, it included a variety of western, Asian, savory and sweet and the variety on the room service menu was also quite good. Bangla road was just a short 20 minute walk from the resort with many things to see on the way.

The journey up to the villa was a little annoying - needed two buggies and a short walk but the view from our villa made it worth it. Bed was a little hard, but pillows were very comfortable. Shower took a while to get hot water but very minors flaws to the villa.

We have stayed previously and enjoyed so many things we came back. We like the friendly staff, the variety of foods available and the lovely view at breakfast, the 2 pools are excellent as well. Our bed was very comfortable, the view was pleasant, the lack of real noise is also a bonus. As a bonus we received 1kg free fuit of our chouce daily. We stayed in 2205 which was an excellent room for pool/shuttle/breakfast access with minimal stairs involved. While it is much smaller than our previous suite it still had everything we needed and wanted. Access to a hotel guard to assist with crossing the busy road 24/7 is also a win. It is within walking distance to Patong Beach and area in general if you have even an average level of fitness but there is easy access to tuk tuks if you can't or do not wish to walk (200 bht one way- approx $9.00 aud) you can catch a 2pm or 4pm shuttle to Patong but there is only space for 11 people in each) so book early. If you want to go to Phuket Old Town they have a shuttle there too. We required some document printing for the next leg of our holiday and the front desk staff were so helpful assisting us with this.

While the complimentary shuttle service is great, it would be even better if there were more of these offered throughout the day. We did have some issues with our booking originally and when contacted, the hotel apologised and gave us a 20% food and drinks discount along with the 1kg of fresh fruit daily which was appreciated.

The resort is clean, quiet and luxurious. The swimming pool is great (the one with the waterfall).

The breakfast does not offer much options. No indication of halal food. The buffet is jammed in one small room where it gets very crowded and difficult to move despite the vast sitting area. The coffee machines are put beside each other which worsens the already crowded buffet room. Why do you use a small room for buffet while you have more space outside?!!

Everything was good, view ,the pools, breakfast, staff are friendly, rooms are clean and the room service was great, shuttle service from and to the room was quick. Definitely this resort will be my choice every time.

We ordered a plate and knife. They charged for it. This was a total surprise/shock to us. I think they should revise their policy on such requests. It doesn't help good customer relations. After complaining they refunded, but it created unpleasant memory in our mind about such a beautiful hotel.

First, I absolutely and whole heartedly love Patong. I had the best vacation ever and it was everything and more. I am so glad we came here and I would definitely come back a million times over. The Hotel - The location was PERFECT! It was right across the beach with exceptional scenery. Our room had a sea view balcony and I could watch all the water activities from the comfort of my bed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. he rooms were big and beautiful. I wouldn't take anything away from this. The private villas are everything and completely stunning! What's there not to love? Amazing hotel. The Facilities - The property has many activities you can indulge in and we took advantage of that. We enjoyed the Fireshow and were thoroughly entertained by that. We loved the fact that we moved around the hotel premises in a shuttle, and it was easily accessible. The waterfall swimming pool was amazing and had a slide we enjoyed getting on. The premises had a waterfall and other facilities which we really enjoyed making use of. The Staff - I would like to commend Mr Chula's customer service. He was such a pleasant man and even took me on a tour to see the private villas. A complete asset he is!!! The rest of the staff were equally pleasant and were very helpful right from booking the hotel to when we arrived, during our stay and till checkout. They went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of and attended to us in good time as and when needed. Kindly reward them accordingly because they were exceptional in all ways; kind, friendly, helpful. The Spa - The staff at Diamond Spa were very respectful and kind. I really enjoyed my massage and milk bath. Thank you to the wonderful staff there for taking care of me. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Cliff and would recommend any and everyone to stay there in a heartbeat.

Didn't like that the pool area closed so early in the evening. Guest are on holiday and enjoy cooling off in pool after a day out exploring the city. Especially as the heat is stifling and don't always want to keep cool in their bedroom or indoors. The drinks at the restaurant was terribly watered down.

Extremely polite and helpful staff, the rooms are big and the sea view from the upper buildings is really nice. It was our second stay in the hotel and it was as good as the first one.

The hotel is a bit far from the beach, walking to the beach on the streets which do not have place for pedestrians is somewhat uncomfortable. On the other hand it is that location that keeps the place quiet and enough distanced from the busy area.

Our stay at Diamond Cliff Hotel was absolutely perfect! We were there for our honeymoon, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious cake, and thoughtful little touches that made our experience unforgettable. The best part? They upgraded our room for free to one with a swimming pool—such an amazing surprise! The staff was incredibly kind, always welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Another great thing about this hotel is the location—everything is nearby! The beach, 7-Eleven, amazing restaurants, street food, and so much more, all within walking distance. It was super convenient, and we loved exploring the area. We’re so happy we chose Diamond Cliff Hotel for our honeymoon and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a romantic and convenient getaway!

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Diamond Cliff Hotel! The hospitality, the surprises, the beautiful room upgrade with a private pool, and the perfect location made it an unforgettable experience. As an Indian guest, I truly enjoyed the breakfast, but I would love to suggest adding Indian tea (chai) to the menu. Just this one small addition would make many of us feel even more at home and delighted. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I can’t wait to visit again!
