Second stay at the Hotel Central and it was great again. The room was cosy and overlooked the yard so no street noise. There was construction work going on outside but it did not impact my stay. The build is historic and you can read about its architecture in the breakfast room. It's conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square.

Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived till our check-out. The welcoming free ice tea was refreshing after the long journey. The best part is the hotel location which was near the old town square, the astronomical clock, restaurants, shops, and historical sights.

For my family we like the room to be cold to sleep. The AC was not cooling enough in some occasions (we were in early June). Once we forgot the windows open to refresh the room and the AC didn't work. After calling the reception they told us to make sure the windows are closed in order for the AC to work. They didn't tell us that before or place a notice sign in the room.

The K&K Central is a beautiful hotel. The reception staff were both professional and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and housekeeping excellent every day. Location is excellent; 10 minute walk to Astronomical Clock along a main shopping street, an easy 12 minute walk from the train station where the Airport Express (AE) bus drops you off. Only minutes away from several tram routes including the 15 which goes to the Castle/Palace across the river. Self service breakfast buffet menu differs slightly every day which is a bonus. Many restaurants/cafes nearby as well as a supermarket. Excellent addition is the fridge in the room for snacks and cold water!

Room very neutral and business like

This hotel is a gem with an unbeatable location, just a short stroll from the Old Town Square and right on the same street as Powder’s Tower. The building itself is stunning, with its charming Art Nouveau facade. Our room was spacious, featuring large windows that offered a lovely view of the street. It came with a cozy sofa, a coffee table, a desk, and a TV. We were pleasantly surprised to find a coffee machine with capsules and a water heater for tea, along with a wireless charger for our devices. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was of a standard size but had all the essentials, including a bathrobe, slippers, shampoo, and moisturizer. The breakfast buffet was decent, though a bit on the small side. It included all the basics like scrambled, boiled, and fried eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, pastries, coffee, tea, and a selection of juices.

The only thing I can complain is that there was no plugin beside the bed.

On check in we were told our room had been upgraded. However, although it may have been slightly larger, the room ended up being just above street level in front of hotel where we could hear traffic. We had asked for a quiet room. In that room also one mattress seemed to be tilted. The next day we were able to switch and the room was very quiet. The morning staff were very helpful in making this switch. The hotel was very clean and well kept throughout. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The location of this hotel is great. It was very close to everything. We walked from the train station to our hotel and we walked from the hotel to the old town and all the major sites.

I didn't like being upgraded to a room that was just above street level when we had asked for a quiet room. The mattresses should be checked because they seemed to be tilted. However, the hotel did change our room and in general we were very pleased with this hotel and the staff.

The breakfast was fantastic. A wonderful range, fresh and well presented. Get down early though as it does get busy. The location of the hotel was absolutely brilliant. So close to attractions yet quiet. Easy to pop back to if needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the ‘don’t clean room’ option in exchange for a free drink at the bar, nice touch! We took them up on that and it wasn’t a catch. Beautiful building with lots of character. Wireless charging dock in the room. Complimentary water in the room. Lovely shower. Complimentary slippers in the room too! Loved that. Toiletries in the room were great. I really thought this stay was excellent and would highly recommend this hotel.

It was a shame the main lift was broken whilst we were there and the hotel hadn’t message to let customers know.

Overall our stay at K+K Hotel Central was excellent. We especially enjoyed the beauty of the building. The Art Nouveau lamps and wall decorations gave us a true sense of Prague’s unique history. Although the building is historic, it is very well maintained. Our room was clean and elegant, the staff were very helpful, and the location was extremely convenient—many sightseeing spots and restaurants were within walking distance. We had lunch at a nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel staff, and it was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family, and we’d love to come back again.

It’d have been better, if the original elevator didn’t have the paper sign on it. We could take better pictures.

Excellent location, fast check in check out and amazing service from staff. We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the hotel facilities. I'm definitely recommending this hotel and would come back! Everything is stone's throw away from this hotel. Art deco is just amazing and the breakfast area is so nice and there is a good variety of food options. The best surprise was the free use of the hotel sauna. They kept our luggage after the check out, which is highly appreciated when you have free time to explore the city on your last day.

The room we stayed in is very basic in comparison to other hotel areas. They have issues with electricity, luckily the room had a wireless charger so we could at least easily charge our phones. We struggled with charging other devices through the sockets though. The staff were super helpful and attentive regarding this issue.

The location was very walkable to the sighs of Old Town! It is a beautiful building on the outside and lobby area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a deep soaking tub and shower combo which hubby could not climb into (we did not have ask for an accessible room). Currently there is a major remodeling project to an adjoining building and some construction noises could be heard in our room during the daytime. The staff were very helpful!
