The rooms were clean, equipped with a couch and small kitchen area, as well as a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the evening. We traveled for our daughters' graduation from WVU so it was close to the coliseum. The restaurant next door was fabulous, especially sitting outside under the trees and on the golf course. The bed was comfortable. Highly recommend to others and will stay here when our 2nd daughter graduates from WVU in 2 years.

The young lady working the front desk on Saturday evening checked us out for a few snacks from the snack bar area behind the front desk. She went to give my husband change but he kindly told her that she could keep it, it was for her. She just turned around and put the cash in the drawer and never said thank you or acknowledged his kindness. I just thought that was a little rude. Everything else was 5 stars.

Beautiful Ascend hotel, continently located on a golf course. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and bed, super comfortable. We LOVED the $5 breakfast!!! Well worth it…the bacon alone😁 Scott was very warm and welcoming, and honestly, the entire staff was impressive. Having pet-friendly rooms made this our choice for staying, but we love it so much we will definitely be back!!! FYI this hotel is super conveniently located near Cooper’s Rock state park…next time we want to enjoy the park for a few days we will definitely stay here!!

Great location. Beautiful scenery nearby. Cooper’s Rock just the next exit up which was absolutely stunning. Loved having a restaurant/bar with live music right next door. Super convenient and food was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Small balcony to enjoy some fresh air with a view of part of the golf course. Breakfast in the morning for only $5, can’t be beat! Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area.

The room was a good size, had everything we basically needed. Bathroom decor was simple but pleasant. Check in was easy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. They were very nice to our dog and we had no trouble with staying with our dog.

Shower floor tiles looked stained. Carpet was clean but I just generally hate carpet in hotel rooms.

It was a beautiful room, honestly was blown away! The room was very clean, beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable! The breakfast options were above board and better quality than your average continental breakfast options so the $5 fee was certainly acceptable. So impressed that we booked again for our anniversary!

Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Only stayed over night as we were traveling to Florida. But the room was perfect.

The restaurant / bar next door can get loud but that's patrons not the bar or hotel's fault. Ask to stay up higher or opposite of the bar. Good food and fun for the kids though.

The staff was super friendly, the rooms were huge and very clean. The breakfast was great and the location was perfect. If we visit Morgantown again, we will definitely stay at the Cranberry.

Parking could be a little tricky if the restaurant next door is busy

WE LOVED THE BALCONY BUT WISH THEIR WAS A PRIVACY FENCE BETWEEN HOTEL AND THE HIGHWAY TO REDUCE NOISE

The room was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, modern, roomy experience. I truly enjoyed the comfort of the room itself and the bedding. I had a great night's sleep. Thank you.

I would have thought for the price of the room, it would have included the$5.00 breakfast. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety.

We liked the cleanliness and comfort of the room and public areas. The entire staff was also friendly and helpful. Not so far from the hotel, there are some options for dining. We liked the modern design of the room with a balcony. I missed breakfast, but my partner enjoyed some fresh cut fruit and good coffee! I appreciate the fact that the hotel offered fresh cut fruit instead of non-nutricious canned food.
