Location was great, as were the shuttle service to and from the Edinburgh airport. The bed, bedding, and bathroom towels were nice. The breakfast was a nice presentation. Staff were very good in all regards.

The lobby/check in area acoustics need improvement. Language and accents are difficult enough for staff and guests without all the sounds bouncing around. It was very noticeable and distracting. We and two other couples found the signs on floor one guiding to room numbers lacking. Off the lift the sign was fine, but walking to the 13x rooms, takes one to the end of a hall and a left turn that does lead to the stairwelll, but should have a sign stating rooms 13x and a pointer. The outside window for room 137 needs some TLC, paint, latches, wood, all showing signs of deterioration.

The staff was incredibly helpful. Even though we arrived early in the morning they were still able to give us a room so we were able to freshen up before heading into the city centre! The room was as described, spacious with every amenity listed, as was the bathroom. The transfer to the airport took us about 5 minutes (with all the interim stops) and goes pretty smoothly: in the morning between 4 am - 10 am it comes automatically every 10 minutes, after that the reception calls it for you (it takes approx. 5 minutes to get there) Huge plus that they offer continental breakfast from 4 am (!) in the morning (hot food only arrives at 6:30 am but still, really nice that you can grab something before heading to the airport)

The double bed could have been a bit bigger. The water pressure in the shower was on the lower end. All in all nothing too uncomfortable.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dinner was quite tasty and there was a good variety on the breakfast buffet. Outstandingly comfortable beds were a huge plus, and the bathroom had obviously had a very recent, top-notch renovation. With the addition of an airport shuttle running every 10 minutes, we were very pleased with this choice of hotel!

We would have preferred a quieter room. But I suppose everyone requests a quiet room in this type of hotel, and it would be impossible to accommodate them all because one side of the building does face the runways. This said, the windows were very good and we really only heard kind of a gentle whooshing sound. It was worth it for the convenience the next morning!

We booked the hotel to rest for one night because of a late-evening flight. The place is conveniently located near the airport, and the shuttle bus to and from the hotel operates 24 hours. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed and kudos for Dove cosmetics products in the bathroom 😁 Despite the proximity to the airport, the room was quiet. Breakfast was great.

There was a locked door in our room that led to (or so it seems) adjacent room, and we could hear guests from that room talking. This wasn't really a problem for a one night stay, but it would feel a bit weird if we were staying longer.

Gillian the receptionist went out of her way to make it special. She bought a card for my husband who was 60 and gave him some chocolate rolls. The deputy manager (polish) was also very friendly. Finally another receptionist we didn't catch her name who worked nights Indian girl again very approachable. These three in particular were an assest to the hotel.

The food. It seemed a bit overpriced and not very good. The first night my daughter had hunters chicken and it seemed like toast struggling to cut through it! One of the worst meals she has had . On the following night my husband and I had a ham and cheese toasties but no steak. I asked the waitress how long it would be she came and said as it was well done would take longer. It arrived after we had finished. I did say that the food should have arrived together. She said she would mention it but no apology. I did mention it to the polish deputy manager the next day and she agreed with what we mentioned. Certainly a difference in reception staff to waitress staff. However pleased with the breakfast arrangements that was superb.

The room was an average hotel room that was clean. The breakfast offerings were varied and quite good. Dinner was a surprise. We expected a rather average meal considering it is a small hotel that we choose because it was close to the airport. To our pleasant surprise, the food was well cooked, tasty and quite satisfying with aa nice menu offering. The front desk and dining room staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent.

The rooms were on the small size but the beds were very comfortable. Would be an excellent place to stay at when attending the Royal High Land Ag. Show..

Superb comfortable convenient hotel for Edinburgh airport. The room was clean quiet and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep before my early morning flight. A good cooked breakfast is included in the cost of the room and the restaurant served a good range of dishes at a reasonable price.There is also a shuttle service to and from the airport for a small fee. All in all I was happy with the convenience of an easily accessible hotel close to the airport prior to my morning flight.

The shuttle bus stop has changed location since my previous stay at the hotel last year and is now located further away from the airport main entrance -however this is a minor inconvenience compared to the positive attributes of this hotel

The location was excellent, the staff were very polite and professional. They seemed genuinely interested in making sure that you were comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel, which was pretty awful, but the staff was attentive and when they realized we didn’t eat our dinner, they refunded our money without us even asking.

The food for dinner and breakfast was pretty awful, sadly. We didn’t expect gourmet. Most things on the menu weren’t available. I’m a vegetarian and ordered the veggie burger. It had freezer burn and was actually hard in some places. The pizza we ate was not good, although it looked nice. The staff refunded us for part of the meal without our having to ask for it. They were great, Breakfast was ok, but the rolls etc, were stale. But you don’t go there for the food!

Breakfast at 5am - and the open all hours vibe. Friendy staff. Coffee etc and kettle in rooms, choice of pillows super new shower I felt it was well managed, with pride even. Thank you all !

It was mid winter .. and the AC was not really coping .. smell on entering was a bit off .. for lack of fresh air. But I got used to it. The staff had a good idea of when the busses were on the rota .. but as I hadnt asked them, it came very suddenly without warning, so I was not prepaired. Something to announce bus in 3 mins or 15 mins would have been a nice to have but anyhow the 10 min shuttle is a very good service and this is not a complaint.

We chose it mainly because of its proximity to the airport as we had a very early flight out. Also the transport links into the city were very useful. Nice also to have an included and generous breakfast, and a restaurant to dine at the night we arrived as we had been driving all day and didn't want to go out for dinner.

The restaurant food, while convenient, seemed a little expensive for what it was and two of our meals were lacking some of the ingredients specified on the menu. There was no explanation or substitution offered. The staff in the restaurant also seemed very rushed and a bit terse on a couple of occasions too.
