The location is ideal if you have a morning flight. We travelled from Glasgow on the airport bus the previous evening and it was about a 10-15min walk with large backpacks, so not too difficult. Hotel is really nice, the bar and lounge area are great. We didn't book the breakfast but had the option to do this in the morning (think it was £20?) and we could look first. Didn't bother as airport has more options, including a cooked breakfast. Staff were super friendly, room was clean and well designed. Hairdryer decent and thankfully wasn't wall-mounted so you could use it anywhere in the room.

Minor inconvenience but the conditioner and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom were empty which I found out mid-shower. I will check that beforehand in future but it should have been checked by hotel staff.

I chose this hotel because arrival very late at night, which turned out to be very early morning the next day. A ten minute walk from the terminal. I found the signs at the beginning of the walk, but not the end of it... The room is OK, pricey but because it is an airport hotel. The breakfast was decent but I had very little time to enjoy anything.

A bit my fault for not reading the registration if the rental car on the keyring well enough, but I got a 100 GPB fine for 30 minutes because I did not provide to the reception the exact correct registration. I am solving right now but I think it is important for the hotel staff to really point out to do this very seriously..I would have double checked if I had known

We got stranded because of Storm Amy, we didn’t get any hotel room for the first night so slept in the foyer of the Hilton hotel across the road. We booked the Moxy for the second night stranded and your staff let us check in early which we appreciated so so much after a night of no sleep. The room was lovely, so comfortable, the food was great and we enjoyed the sleep and a shower. Thank you for everything.

Don’t appreciate dogs in the hotel, especially very large German Shephard Dogs that travelled in the lifts too !!! Dangerous if there were children in there too - I have allergies and would hate to end up sleeping in a room that a dog had been in the previous night !!

Exactly what you book it for, the ease of access (within 5mins walk) of the Airport. The vibe is relaxed, I jokingly refer to it as a cross between a Travelodge and a Student Union. The Airport bus that goes from Central Edinburgh and Haymarket stops right outside the hotel (the announced stop for 'Airport Hotels').

N/A. It is what you pay for (a fair priced sleep, very close to the airport, expect comfort food of a beer with pizza in a relaxed setting, not unlike a Student Union, rather than upscale fine dining etc...).

Good location for airport bus and the airport. Comfortable and good shower. Didn’t eat or drink there. Don’t forget to set the air con as even though it’s Scotland the room was set to 22 C You can’t open the windows so by 1 am it was boiling and we had to adjust it. Seems a massive waste of money to have to use air con in Scotland but they obviously insist on heating the rooms and locking the windows. The bus (100 airport) into town only takes 20 mins and stops right outside hotel

It was more expensive than usual as we made the mistake of flying the day after the Robbie Williams concert and the prices had trebled !

It was close to the terminal V festival and easily accessible at night. They checked us in early which we appreciated lots as we could settle before going to the festival on the saturday. I felt confident in leaving my car in the car park too as these areas were monitored well by staff and police at busy times.

We expected noise from other people being at the festival but was very noisy and didnt get any sleep at all on the first night due to doors being slammed, stomping of feet and bass from speakers. We didnt mind on the saturday night as we understood why but when it continued onto the sunday we phoned down to reception they then also turned off the reception music as we could hear the bass from this too and appreciate the action took to allow us to have a good sleep.

First of all the staff was exceptional. They were very friendly, courteous, helpful, and considerate. I am in a wheelchair and they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and they made sure I had a ground floor room as requested for my safety measures. The room was very clean very comfortable easy for me to access. The only thing I would say that for such a beautiful handicap accessible room the main door to get into my room was quite heavy to try and push with a wheelchair, but I will be very honest unfair and say that absolutely every other handicap accessible room or restroom that I have used in any facility, Train or airport is exactly the same way. So it is no fault of the hotel. But I do think that that one issue in future for hotels and transport when it’s handicap accessible could perhaps be maybe automatic once you enter your key. Just a thought for the future for when you ever think about revamping any part of the hotel. But I did not hold that against you. It was a very comfortable stay I felt very secure. The staff were always there to help me out whether it was to bring me a couple of extra little packs of coffee or to answer my questions about when where and how to get a taxi, Etc.. They always had a smile on their face. They were always more than eager to help. And I saw them treat other customers just as well. The staff at the Mark C Hotel by Edinburgh airport are remarkable. Even as much as I saw the janitors cleaning and the maintenance people at the housekeeping everybody, there was friendly and courteous, and always had a smile on their face. I would gladly use the moxie again when I travel again. Highly recommended thank you very much for a very pleasant and safe stay

Just the heaviness of the actual hotel room door being in a wheelchair. It was heavy and a little difficult to access. Perhaps when you are redoing handicap accessible rooms, you may want to think about perhaps having that one door be automatic once you enter the room key. Apart from that there was nothing that was unpleasant or unlike. It was wonderful the whole stay.

The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. We were each offered a token to get a free cocktail from the bar, which was a nice surprise, unfortunately when we went to the bar it was only a gin cocktail. Not being gin drinkers we just gave the tokens away. The rooms were basic but nice, the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was small but the shower was great, powerful and heated up quickly. Tea and coffee available in the room. We weren’t there for any mealtimes but I’d imagine they’d be quite expensive as the drinks from the bar were quite pricey

The prices in the bar were a bit much, and the bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner.

Having read some bad reviews we arrived with an open mind and so glad we did. The welcome was warm and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in early. The reception/bar/lounge/dining area is quirky. I loved their use of old books🤣. The food was absolutely fine too. Not a fine dining experience but not fine dining prices. A good selection of drinks at the bar. Our room although smaller than some airport hotels was more than large enough for a one night stay. The beds are so very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The price we paid was low season prices but would happily choose to stay here in the high season. Each and everyone of the staff were a credit to the hotel. When we arrived our feet were a bit muddy due to the weather outside and although we wiped them we made marks on the floor as the guy was cleaning it. He just laughed, I couldn't do that job as I would hit anyone who dared to mess with my floor. Without exception all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Having to leave at 3.30am for an early flight. Could have slept later very easily on the comfy bed.

Third time here and I find it both convenient (at a price), comfortable and squeaky clean.

The ten minute walk from Moxy to terminal is MISERABLE! No pedestrian walk ways while crossing over a couple major thoroughfares to get to the tatty, uneven and broken surfaced “walkway” to the terminal. Third world doesn’t sum it up adequately. Moxy needs to run a free shuttle and/or EDI needs put in pedestrian crossings on the highways there and a properly wide and surfaced walkway allowing for safe walking, wheelie bags and carts.
