Breakfast at 5am - and the open all hours vibe. Friendy staff. Coffee etc and kettle in rooms, choice of pillows super new shower I felt it was well managed, with pride even. Thank you all !

It was mid winter .. and the AC was not really coping .. smell on entering was a bit off .. for lack of fresh air. But I got used to it. The staff had a good idea of when the busses were on the rota .. but as I hadnt asked them, it came very suddenly without warning, so I was not prepaired. Something to announce bus in 3 mins or 15 mins would have been a nice to have but anyhow the 10 min shuttle is a very good service and this is not a complaint.

We chose it mainly because of its proximity to the airport as we had a very early flight out. Also the transport links into the city were very useful. Nice also to have an included and generous breakfast, and a restaurant to dine at the night we arrived as we had been driving all day and didn't want to go out for dinner.

The restaurant food, while convenient, seemed a little expensive for what it was and two of our meals were lacking some of the ingredients specified on the menu. There was no explanation or substitution offered. The staff in the restaurant also seemed very rushed and a bit terse on a couple of occasions too.

Close enough to the airport, they offer a shuttle for 2.50 but we opted to walk the 12/15 minutes to the terminal and was fine. Staff were all lovely and very informative. Breakfast bring included is lovely and it was a fantastic selection of hot and cold options, was much appreciated for an early flight. The bed and room was very comfortable, we had a great nights stay.

The TV was not able to load anything, we only got a couple channels after moving the cable at the back where it connects to the wall. The shower would not close properly as the plastic border to keep water in was not placed correctly and could not fit in the actual door cap as it was cut too tall, wasn’t a major issue but did mean some water escaping.

The staff were phenomenal, all the girls at reception were super attentive, polite and professional. Special shout out to Martha, she’s a wee manager in the making if she isn’t already perfect example of a good hospitality employee. Best bathrooms I’ve seen in a Holiday Inn Express, brilliant showers and nice Dove toiletries. Housekeeping are good at what they do too, rooms were spotless. Ideal for the price and the bus to the airport is ideal as it picks you up at the hotel door.

The limited bar menu at night. Pizza or toastie is the only option, so if you come in on a late flight don’t expect a meal.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant. The rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly, except for the waiter, Emmanuel. He was a very unpleasant, rude person with no interest in being friendly or serving guests. I really wanted to tell him how terrible he is at customer service. When someone is unable to work face-to-face, it would be a good idea to relocate them to an area where they won't have contact with anyone. I have no complaints about anything else. The receptionist was very friendly, and the shuttle service was excellent.

You can easily access the hotel from town by tram to the Airport and from there there’s a free bus from bus stop stand 10 that takes you to the hotel’s entry. This service is free. If you want to go to the airport to take the tram into town, there is a fee of 2,5 GBP/ adult person, children travel free. We stayed two nights, one on our eay into Scotland and one on our way out and it was perfect for that but I would choose something more central for a longer Edinburgh stay. Be aware that if you have annearly flight, you will only be able to have a cold breakfast (no cold cuts, only muffins and bread with jam or cereal!!) proper breakfast starts at 6:30!! Personell are really kind and helpful and we could leave our luggage for storage when checking out and before our flight.

Chose this hotel due to propinquity to the airport. Check in was smooth and receptionist very helpful. Room was spacious but heater was not on and the room was a wee cold but once the heater was on all was good. The airport shuttle bus is spot on timing. I’ve forgotten my handbag at the bench outside the hotel when I first jumped on the shuttle bus. Called the hotel and the receptionist was very helpful in keeping it safe until I’ve returned and picked it up - in a rush I couldn’t pick up her name but brilliant staff overall

Staff was super helpfull. Availability to buy food / beverage 24h round. Cleaning every day. Shuttle bus available day & night, though it cost £2.50 per person to get away from the hotel.

Breakfast was poor quality and uninspiring. It seems that the people in the kitchen didn't really know how to cook. The hotel is far from everything and the shuttle bus had really bad conditions (the road throws the bus & passengers around) to transport guests to and from the airport. Every shuttle bus trip to get away from the hotel cost £2.50 per person.

Comfy beds, great shower, Dove toiletries, clean room, good breakfast, lovely staff both on reception and housekeeping. Quite a bit cheaper than the other 3 airport hotels.

Some runway noise early morning; will request room in opposite side of corridor next time. Quite a trek from the airport terminal (20-25 mins) if you don't want to walk along to the shuttle bus pick up point and wait - especially if youve got luggage. Need to allow extra time in the morning to get to the terminal as the shuttle bus takes a while to get around the car rental/long stay car park first. Instant coffee at breakfast, and bean to cup machine behind the bar was out of order.

The younger front desk lady was absolutely fantastic! She was so friendly and quickly helped us out when we needed something or had a question. She's a work horse!!! Hotel was very close to the airport which made it convenient for travel. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. There were lots of options to choose from. All items were well stocked and cooked well. Loved the coffee machine. Had the best mocha of my whole trip! Room was nice. They didn't have the sofa bed made up, but they were quick to see to it. Beds were quite comfy and really liked that the room had a fan in it!

The bar attendant wasn't the most friendly. He seemed annoyed with my order. Shuttle cost seems unnecessary. Cost of the room was pretty outrageous.
