Great location with lots of amenities around within a short distance. Lodge itself far exceeded our expectations as we booked relatively last minute. There was plenty of space and style wise was clean and cosy. Everything was provided as it was self catering for cooking and cleaning. Nice entryway and decking with bbq and chairs.

Internet didn’t work the whole time we were there but we had our phones. Having spoke to them before checkout the weather could have affected this and needed a restart.

I would rate this site 5 stars A warm welcome greeted my family and I on arrival at the camp from the friendly reception team. Set in a Peaceful location, the camp has access to good countryside walks. The accommodation was new, clean and had all the equipment needed for a base to explore Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Not so much a didn't like just awkward. Loads of storage space in bedrooms and bathrooms but because the kitchen is so well stocked with utensils and equipment there is no space to store dry stores other than counter tops .Lovely big freezer and fridge for other foods.

Excellent lodge and caravan with everything provided, for our extended family group, on a peaceful, immaculately maintained site, with beautiful river walks, and excellent location for livingston and Edinburgh.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. Great place to start our 3 week vacation. Very quiet.

It was a little bit out of the way, but that helped with how nice and quiet it was.

Located in excellent and relaxing atmosphere, very well equipped mobile houses. You can find everything you need in the kitchen, constant hot water and good heating system. The staff is friendly.

The beds in the rooms with 2 separate beds are really small and tiny and not comfortable for big persons.

Excellent chalet very modern and spotless throughout.

My water pipes froze during the night. However, as soon as I informed staff they were on the problem within minutes with a large blow heater under the chalet to thaw the pipes. Can't account for the freeze we had so well done Linwater.

Good ambience, proactive and smart staff and duty wardens.

Would have loved WiFi in our caravan; shame the warden said it only worked around the reception.

Lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy

Location was close to the airport, so a little noisy on the flight path at nights/early mornings

The site is so clean, the staff are really friendly. Our caravan was nice and spacious.

The road coming up to the actual site there are a few potholes, there's just enough space for two cars to pass, apart from that no other issues.
