Everything except the reliability of some staff at the reception and the hotel manager Lia who is the real waste the space and she is ruining hotels reputation.

The hotel Ops, Supervisor Lia is very rude person with no managing skills to handle even a single conversation with returning customer who need a simple issue solved. Person like this should not work on this position.

We had a fantastic stay at Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Our room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had a lovely view — we even saw rabbits playing outside the window, which added a magical touch to our stay. All staff members were incredibly professional and polite. Special thanks to the reception team, especially Iwo and Naomi, for their warm welcome and outstanding assistance. They went above and beyond to assist us. We truly appreciated the quiet atmosphere, excellent service, and overall hospitality. This hotel definitely deserves a 5-star review, and we would gladly stay here again.

Couldn't find fault with staff, breakfast or room

Comfy bed but Very uncomfortable pillows, far too soft & flat. Didn't sleep well

The hotel is a short walk from the airport terminal and a short walk to the trams and buses to take you into the Centre of Edinburgh. One of the waiters (Syed) was a wee treasure, so very helpful and with a sunny disposition.

I am comparing it to the Hilton by Hampton Hotel, Malaga which we had just stayed in and have to say the Malaga hotel was much better. A bigger bed and room. Much better shower with lovely big towels and face cloths. Also not so clean and the breakfast not quite so good. Thought the hotels would all be standardized.

Only a 5 or 6 minute walk from the airport exit doors...close to trams, buses and taxi ranks. Staff were nice Room was very good... comfortable and had everywhere needed Check out was very easy too All in very good

The price was a bit over the top but to be expected seeing it was during the tattoo and Edinburgh festival What I really didn't like was on checking in we were informed that our stay was cancelled even though I had receipt from booking.com that the balance was paid 2 days earlier. But the young lady at reception just rebooked it there and then for the same price

The room was spotless and very confortable, also very quiet considering it is pretty much on the tarmac. The breakfast was very good although it was a bit of a struggle to get hold of some of the stuff despite having breakfast well before the deadline. Location is great, the walk is a bit long if you have big luggage or not very mobile. It was the cheapest option at the time of our stay, and ideal for left luggage to enjoy every minute of the stay in town until the flight. Would definitely stay there again if I couldn't find accommodation in town.

Breakfast refills were slow, had to wait quite a bit every day for refills. No bread on the last day although due to supply issue. For improvements: bathroom needs a toilet brush, a second hook for towels. Also we left the towels hanging to save them for the duration of the stay (as per instructions) but they were changed regardless every day which was a waste.

I stayed at the Hampton because my flight got canceled last minute, and honestly, it was the only place nearby with availability. The room was really spacious, comfortable, and super quiet — perfect for catching up on rest. Plus, I could check out late at 12 PM, which gave me a bit more time before heading out.

That said, the price was pretty steep for what you actually get. The breakfast was pretty standard — nothing special — and I was kind of hoping for more fresh fruit and veggies considering how much I paid. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and convenient, but the cost definitely feels a bit inflated for the amenities on offer.

Main plus is the location, 5 minutes walk to the airport, the comfortable rooms, the included buffet breakfast available very early.. in my case 5am Which makes it pretty ideal for early flights.

The shower wasn’t well designed and sprayed out onto the bathroom floor, either the Perspex screen too short. The bar/restaurant food was also not great. The most popular items were not available..beef burgers, steak pie etc.. and the curry I had recommended by a staff member was really poor and expensive for what it is. The hotel seems overpriced.. but obviously you’re paying for the great location.

Clean and comfortable room , good size, quiet even though very close to the airport. Only 5 minute walk to the airport, great for early morning flight.

Lounge, restaurant not Hilton quality, more like a food court. Staff friendly but not dressed professionally. One male behind reception dressed in jeans, with belly hanging over and keys hanging . Female receptionist very friendly and helpful but had trainers on ! Other staff wearing red and white checked shirts like Mc Donald’s. Paid $500 for one night - should be more up market , otherwise drop your prices .

Location, very clean & super comfortable bed with fantastic bed linen, fluffy towels

The staff - housekeeping barged in well before 8 am; the receptionist on arrival was not particularly forthcoming with information ie had to be asked re room number, which floor & only came to show us how to use the room card to call the lift after we had been waiting almost 10 minutes. The young girl on departure was very helpful however, just not appropriately dressed - tight low cut (front & back) T shirt - the staff overall need to have some sort of uniform or at the very least dress code - does not contribute to making a professional impression.
