Lovely hotel close to the airport and transport links to Edinburgh. We were welcomed from the moment we entered the hotel and pub. The room was a good size and nice ensuite, perfect for our stay. Wifi was great and lots of usb ports for recharging devices. We ate at the restaurant in the evening, the meal was fabulous. The pub had some live music in the evening, but we were not disturbed. We would have no hesitation in booking this great little hotel again. Thank you Bridge Inn for a comfortable and memorable stay.
Carrying suitcases upstairs, but to be fair it’s an older building you can’t expect a lift, plus we were both tired after touring. Other than a little groan at the stairs, we were really happy at the Bridge Inn.

The staff is incredible!! They are so welcoming, friendly and handled any request with an “It’s nice to be nice” attitude. I cannot praise them enough. Such charm and community to this gem of an inn. Live music nights, movie nights on the lawn in summer. Just delightful and a beautiful location!! Easy to taxi to Edinburgh for the fringe festival then come home to this peaceful place.
Country Walking trails right outside your front door and the beautiful river. So peaceful. The rooms are charming and extremely well appointed and clean.

Very convenient to EDI , just a couple miles away . Lovely historic inn , great restaurant , and beautiful area on the canal in Ratho . We spent our first and our last nights in Scotland at The Bridge Inn . What a great way to start and end our trip . Room was very comfortable , great food, really nice staff and beautiful walks along the canal . Would stay there again if we are lucky enough to get back to Scotland .

Lovely atmosphere of a real Inn. Welcoming and comfortable. Very nice rooms with everything you need and more. Coffee machine in the rooms with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Great views of the canal and barges. Bathrooms well equipped with plentiful, quality toiletries. The bar areas busy, a good sign with lots of regulars as well as guests. Staff on the ball meaning quick service. Guitarist/singer and lively locals led to a brilliant singalong. A real party atmosphere. We loved it The bistro is excellent. Full yet quick service on a wide ranging menu delivered delicious meals. Staff work really hard and make the guest experience
Booking in could be smoother but that's it.

The room was very elegant with a chandelier and nice curtains. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was spacious and nice. The restaurant downstairs had absolutely the best steak and ale pie that we had in Scotland and we ate many during our stay in Scotland. The location is perfect to begin or end your holiday stay if one is flying in or out of the Edinburgh airport. The towns around the hotel are very scenic and picturesque. Absolutely we will return on our next trip to Scotland. Dr. Monte & Connie
That we didn’t get to stay longer.

The location; close to the airport for an early departure and close to the Tram park and ride for a quick pop into Edinburgh, made this Inn a perfect for our needs. The breakfast was good (remember to book in advance) and dinner ( pub fair) was delicious. Be prepared for a lively, noisy atmosphere on the weekend.
The only draw back were the size of the rooms (we were in Bryce). And, small is to be expected in an Inn of that antiquity. The location and stroll along the Union canal was lovely!

We needed a place close to the airport for our last night in Scotland. The Bridge INN is a wonderful little INN on the canal in a quaint small town. Room was quiet, view was great, good beds, hot water bath and amenities were good even though we didn't use them. Nice little restaurant that looks like a fun place during the summer months.
We really enjoyed our stay, nothing negative

Stayed at the Bridge Inn the night before flying out of Edinburgh. Quiet location on a canal in Ratho. Only a 15 minute taxi ride to airport. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Street level includes a restaurant and bar. Rooms above. Has a local following. Plenty of food choices including a pub menu. Old building but well maintained and clean. Outdoor patio seating available with a view of the canal.
Only stayed during one rainy night so didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating. No issues.

Room interior was well decorated & several extra touches added a touch of luxury (Nespresso, scented soap). Staff was nice, bed comfortable, room was quiet as walls seem thick. Restaurant food was very good & communication with the inn leading up to our stay was great. Proximity to the airport was great since we needed to catch a flight the next day.
Our queen bed room and bathroom was very tight. Just understand that when you book. The surroundings are not as scenic as the listing makes it seem. It was unusually warm when we visited but since it can be that way several months of the year, a nice touch for the price we paid would have been an electric air purifier/fan. The windows open but unless there’s a breeze, it was little help with the heavy draperies.

The staff was excellent; friendly and helpful! They knew we had to be at the airport early and had a cab waiting for us. They gave us specific instructions on how to exit without setting off alarms early in the morning. Restaurant with great food was an added bonus. Very clean room with comfortable bed.
Only the tiny size of the room was a little challenging to try to get around. Not a deal breaker.
