Whilst our accomodation was a short walk from main building, 13 floors up in a (residential) block of flats, we couldn't have asked for better. Extremely roomy apartment for the two of us, with a small kitchenette that more than met our needs. A short walk for breakfast in the morning (main building) which was buffet style with plenty of choice. Central location meant, along with a couple of very inexpensive Uber rides, we were able to walk to most of the 'sites'.Whilst doing so we thoroughly enjoyed all the local 'experiences'! Staff we met were friendly and heldful and we would not think twice about recommending, and returning to. Extremely good value for cost.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in the heart of Alexandria, Egypt, and I couldn't be more impressed! The location in downtown is perfect, close to all the major attractions and just a short walk from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. If you're visiting Alexandria, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, prime location, and overall excellent experience!

Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the historical center of Alexandria. It is a former Greek quarter among monumental churches and luxurious colonial buildings. At the same time it is very quiet and peaceful compared to the noise and chaos of a huge metropolis. We had a large 2-room apartment with 3 balconies, a kitchen and a huge living room. Also a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The beds are good with comfortable mattresses and clean linen. The Internet was fast during the day, but the speed dropped significantly in the evening, when (probably) other guests were watching movies. Supermarkets, restaurants and a market are a couple of minutes' walk away.

We got an apartment and it was huge and clean. Living room with A/C and a big room with A/C, bathroom, hot shower, kettle, tea and water, space for luggage, big bed, nice pillows, tv. Wifi worked perfect. Our first recepcionist Mina, was a friendly man, check in was quick, room was ready at 1 pm, he gave us all the information needed as places to visit, how much was a taxi fare from different places to the Hotel. Breakfast was nice: omelet, veggies, tea, water, fruits, juice, cheese, jam and yogourt. Lady in reception was very friendly as well. Was easy communication. We like the fact we were told electricity was gone from 3 pm to 5 pm. About location, it was good for us, 10 mins to the main road close to the sea, we walked around till late, it was safe, uber was easy to use as well. The apartment isnt in the main building, it is next door, little dark building but there was a security guy during the day and night.

The apartment we stayed was very big and very clean.It has kitchen facilities.But there was not a gas bottle for the 'nun.We only used cattle to make coffe or tea.TV.we couldnt manage to get it work but good size .Location is good but right next to school and people play futbol very late night and makes a lot of noise.But we love the feeling of apartment.

We had a few concern about flooring as there was holes or breaks under the surface.We just walked around it 😏 Also flat is on the 5th floor and elevator was broken.It was not issue for us as they helped us for the luggage and we are active people getting up and down was not big prob.

The overall experience was good. The owner of the apartment was prompt to all the issues we raised. Spacious apartment, good for 3-4 people. We did not face any issue other than wifi in the apartment. First day it was bad but after complaining, second day it got resolved. So nothing much to complaint. Location was great. Walking distance for good cafe and food outlets and corniche too. You get a view of the entire city from the apartment.

Just the building looks old and is hard to find. But I can't complain much about it too since all buildings in Alexandria are in the same condition.

Upgraded from my single room to a double. For an extra $4usd I got a room with a wonderful balcony looking into the courtyard of the Greek church! It was fantastic. Good breakfast and hot water. Perfect base to explore Alexandria. Lovely walk along the corniche to the citadel or the bibliotheca. Clothing Market on every night with plenty of food places. Lots of families and friend groups walking around and friendly smiles and hellos. It’s a working neighbourhood so expect mechanic shops etc near the hotel. Just a great value place.

Fully equipped kitchen. Apartment is big and have an excellent view of the city. Wifi works perfectly. 24 hour reception and they assist you in what you need.

It is located a little far from city center, but you can walk around 15-20 minutes and you will reach it. There is no supermarket nearby.The nearest is on the city center. Reception guys were friendly, but the girl that took us to the apartment not so much. Bear in mind that the apartment is not in the same building of the hotel. It is 1 block away.

Stayed here one night in Alexandria after spending two nights at a fancy Hotel on the corniche. The hospitality was significantly better here. Humble but very clean rooms. Mine (pronounced “Meena”) checked me in and he gave me great recommendations of things to see in the city. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here, and felt the staff cared about my experience both at the hotel and in Alexandria. Would definitely stay here again. *Noting that another reviewer was doubting that other businesses in the neighborhood have daily power outage from 9-11pm. While some smaller businesses seem to have generators, the rest of the neigbborhood is out and this is practiced in 2 hour time slots in each neighborhood across the city. According to a local friend, it is due to gas inflation caused by war betwen Russia and Ukarine and is a new practice for the country.

The room we booked is not the same as the one we firstly arranged to ,so we complain and negotiate with front desk ,they eventually give us a better option .which is nice ,not sure why they don’t arrange us to the old building at first ,but the new building is not safe ,and anyone like literally anybody could go inside ,it’s really not safe ,but the second room is amazing ,we can overlook the whole church area ,just feel like back to Europe ! Whole neighborhood is quiet and peace ,which is important since it’s Egypt !
