At the time of writing this review, I stayed in a double room with a balcony for 750 EGP per night. The accommodation is ideally located in the heart of Corniche, Alexandria's beautiful coastal road. It is situated in a building right next to Saad Zaghloul Square, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, markets, and shopping complexes. The Corniche itself offers a priceless experience for leisurely strolls. Located on the 4th floor, the hotel provides a balcony with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, bathed in warm sunlight. The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need, including a TV, fan, air conditioning (unused during winter), a table, and chairs. There’s very little to ask for beyond what is already provided. Hot water is readily available and works perfectly. While it’s not a luxury hotel, one thing I can confidently say is that this is the best choice you can find for 750 EGP per night. If you are a long-term backpacker or planning to spend extended time in Alexandria, often called the "Bride of the Mediterranean," I highly recommend the Transit Hotel. The staff is friendly and available 24/7. Although breakfast service is not provided, there’s a common hall with tables where you can freely relax. If you need anything, the thoughtful owner, Mohamed, and the staff will go out of their way to assist you. Mohamed is incredibly capable and kind. Nothing. (The price offered by this accommodation is extremely affordable. Considering this, any dissatisfaction might stem from visitors having high expectations, in which case it would be better to look for more expensive options. Personally, I am so satisfied with my stay that I would be willing to pay up to 1000 EGP for this place.)

Booking rank is 7,1 . I think it deserves better. So a 8 from me The stuff is very friendly, i made a lot of friends . To be honest, they can do better things, but this comment is especially for Europeans. You are in Africa don't expect a super lux . For African standards it deserves 8. A lot of hotels in Alexandria are dirty. This one is from the cleanest ones.. If you want super luxury facilities pay in 5 stat hotels 1000 times more .

The location is perfect to everywhere. The room space and facilities are good. Receptionist also very helpful. Great value of money for a private room with attach bathroom.

The room has a weird smell maybe due to no air circulation for a long time. Anyway the smell gone after I open the door of the balcony. I will suggest to put aroma freshener at room. No hanger at bathroom. Close to street so have the sound from street.

The view was amazing, way better than i imagined. The location is perfect, it was so easy to go literally anywhere. It wasn't that quiet though, the streets were so noisy until around 3 am. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The place was overall clean, but the curtain in the bathroom wasn't good at all. The bathroom itself was clean, but the curtain was musty. It should be a plastic curtain instead.

Great location, good value as it's a hotel room of hostel rate, spacious and private bath! Great staff at work and check it and out was a breeze! Safe and secured accommodation for solo female traveler. Half a minute walk to water front with great view of Mediterranean Sea! Heart of location micro buses and tour buses. Walking distance to fish market, St. Mark Church etc. In 5 mins walk it's mac's and carrefour!

Good location and super clean in the room. It was very convenient to go Citadel of Qaitbay and the library.

We dont have hot water for whole night. The staff helped us turn on the light but it still change to cold water 5 mins later…..

Best location at affordable rate, very nearby to the Corniche and most of the attractions there. Go for it without any hesitation. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of the old building. The list service will lead you to it.

Nice little hotel in a great location. The room was big and spacious with high ceilings, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and the staff are extremely friendly - they were very flexible about check out, which we appreciated. There was hot water and decent pressure most of the time. For an Alexandria hotel, it is very good value for money. We would stay here again.

The room was spacious, extremely clean given the cleanliness of the other hostels of the same category, very basic, well ventilated and very good value for money. The location is convenient very close to the beach in the heart of the city.

Room was very noisy it was almost impossible to take a day nap. There was a leaking in the bathroom I asked for help the guy was polite but didn't offer a solution The bathroom was quite small to the extent that I wasn't able to close the door while using it.

The location was fantastic. Many good restaurants nearby, the Mediterranean Sea was a block away. There’s a Drinkies and pharmacy downstairs. Clean room and the staff was very friendly but not overbearing. A very nice shopping area was within a few blocks and plenty of nice cafes and shisha joints too!

There’s no air conditioning but we stayed here in the middle of summer so that’s our bad. I’m sure not having AC the rest of the year is quite pleasant and no need for it since the Sea breeze is refreshing.
