A delightful historic hotel, consciously maintaining high standards of attentiveness and kindness to guests. Lovely belle epoque rooms, still with their ormolu-set desks and damask covered sofas. The high ceilings make for a wonderfully cool, light environment. We thought this was an enchanting time capsule. The beds were also extremely comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. Also, the location on the corniche was ideal, with views across the bay to the Ottoman fort. It was easy to get Ubers to anywhere we wanted to go, such as the glorious nearby Greco-Roman museum. The rooftop restaurant was great, too. The only other contender in the area that people who read this review are likely to consider is the Cecil. Tbh, we far preferred the Windsor Palace, having eaten in both. The Cecil has been rendered bland and characterless by the Steigenberg group, and we thought the service & general ambience were better at the Windsor Palace. Loved it and would love to return.

Nothing to dislike.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the main attractions and enjoy the local atmosphere. What truly stands out, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any request. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable, which makes a huge difference in your stay. Special thanks to Christina for her warm hospitality—she even surprised me with delicious mini cookies, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch. I highly recommend room 405 (or any room with a similar layout).

The hotel is beautiful and very suggestive. Ideally located. The staff is helpful and friendly.

There is a BIG problem : a disco bar installed on the top of the hotel, that makes a crazy noise until 2am. It's absolutely insane. No possibility to avoid the basses (bum bum bum bum...) Unless you stay in the very first floor. Total nightmare.

it's a amazing experience to live inside a historic building and they have the most magnificent sea views when you have fabulous breakfast on the roof!!! and staff here can speak fluency english which makes you feel safe,which if you have any requirement they can understand and help you; we would like to thank Mayar/Reem/Ahmed N. they arranged a very beautiful sea view room for us that can observer the Qaitbay fort and also the very nice police officer Ibrahim,he helped us communicate with Uber driver which really give us the sense of safety! really love this hotel!

nah, there may be a little problem which I think room doesn't have enough power plugs, but you will not expect people from 1900s have demand to charge their phone at bed;)

The hotel location is central to the main attractions in Alexandria (Greco- Roman Museum, Fouad and Nabi Daniel street, and popular food places like Delices, Chez Gabi, fish market, trianon, and many other places) having the BEST sea view among other hotels. Rooms are authentic. If you are coming with your car you will have a major challenge with the parking. Breakfast is okay, however the view is amazing. The room is equipped with all the required kits (dental, shaving, loofas) without even asking for it. The reception team is amazing, Christina, Ahmed, Michael and Reem, they are very polite and helpful.

Windsor Palace Hotel Review Checking in was a pleasure, with refreshments and cake offered upon arrival. Both receptionists were very friendly and professional. Christina, the Guest Relations Manager, welcomed me and accompanied me to my room. I booked a partial sea view room via Booking.com and was allocated Room 311. Having previously enjoyed full sea view rooms during past visits, I asked Ms. Christina for assistance in moving to a full sea view room. Within just 15 minutes, she collaborated with Ms. Mayar at the reception to arrange an upgrade. They both worked diligently to secure a special upgrade to my favorite room at a generous discount. Their professionalism and friendliness were commendable. For the second time since my arrival, Ms. Christina personally supervised my move to the new Room 405, and the entire process took less than half an hour. Lying in bed, I was treated to the most beautiful view of the corniche; the balcony felt like sitting in the middle of the sea, and the bathroom offered a spectacular view as well. All toiletries were provided, including generous sizes of shampoo, conditioner, and shower cream. The breakfast buffet is served on the 6th floor, boasting a stunning panoramic view of the Alexandria corniche. Mr. Mohamed Hamza, the Restaurants Manager, supervised the team and ensured guest comfort. Noticing me with my walking stick, he personally collected a plate for me and asked Ms. Aya to assist, which she did with kindness. The entire restaurant and room service team deserve five stars. The food was excellent, featuring a vast variety of international cuisine alongside the best selection of local Egyptian dishes. Ms. Naglaa from housekeeping at Room 405 deserves special recognition; everything in the room was impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout my stay, with not a single item missing or overlooked. Checking out was as smooth and easy as checking in, thanks to Ms. Nadeen, Ms. Reem, and Ms.

Great greeting at reception by Reem and her colleague , shown around and everything explained. Staff throughout the hotel were top class. The rooms were extremely comfortable with a modern bathroom. The Blue Harbour restaurant was terrific , amazing views from the terrace , exceptional service , very good food (albeit more Mediterranean than Egyptian) . Great for just a drink too and not expensive. Quite busy with non residents and female groups so a nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was superb and with huge variety (maybe more fresh fruit ?)

Blue Harbour wi-fi was a bit weak. We needed help with an airport transfer to Cairo Sphinx , but they seemed unable to help other than recommend bus companies , so we went to the next door hotel who fixed and booked us a car in five minutes , just $20 each for a two hour taxi ride. Much as I like loud music and atmosphere , the Sky Roof Bar was just too loud.

Everything. The way they received us, the rooms, the food, the staff. Staff from the receptionists. To the hosts Basma and Christine ( nice touch and good presentation) to the housekeeping Basma and others to the concierge, to the restaurant all of them especially Youssef, young man, very helpful. They are all fantastic.

The only thing is when we went to spend sometime in the night club we were told we have to get tickets from the reception which is not mentioned in the ad in the room. We didn't want to go down and up again so we stayed in the restaurant

The location of Windsor Palace is greatly located in the heart of the beautiful city of Alexanderia with its hustle and bustle, yet the hotel was able to maintain a quite and relaxing atmosphere indoors despite the noisy street it overlooks. The room was comfortable, having a direct sea view, with a terrace that overlooks the still old and undamaged (by the ugly construction) part of Alexanderia's corniche. The roof top was the highlight of the the place, with its exquisite design and nice relaxing vibe. We had dinner a la carte with live music, and a breakfast the next morning. Both food quality and service were more than excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they made sure we're well taken care of since we checked in, special thanks to Christine, Mayar and others in the reception. For a fact, this is my new favourite place whenever I get a chance to visit my favourite city of Alexanderia.
