Meticulously clean Boutique Hotel with extremely attentive, friendly, proactive staff. Beautiful rooms and, probably, the best service I've received ANYWHERE IN Egypt. Excellent chef. SUPER beautiful, green, quiet location on the West Bank of the Nile ... and if you want to tap into the urban amenities of the East Bank, the concierge can arrange fast, easy, inexpensive transport at any time. This was my second stay, personally, but I have sent MANY groups of friends here since my first stay in 2022.

There is nothing about this hotel that has disappointed me. I'm telling ya' .... even if there were flaws in the room or something, the staff is ON IT to ensure an excellent experience for the guests. Top notch.

Great location with view on the Nile. The surroundings itself are very rustic and quiet which I personally liked. The hotel is ideally located near many of the temples and sights Luxor has to offer. The hotel is very nice and looks very neat. The food is freshly cooked with ingredients from their own organic garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can organise trips or hire a local driver to drive you around for a good price. This place is hidden gem indeed and if would return to Luxor again, I would stay at the Jewel Howard Carter.

Jewel Howard Carter hotel was everything that I needed even though the airport is around half hour drive. Muhammed pick me up from the airport & took me straight to the hotel, organised by Motaz the manager very nice guy, & also Hussain who both went above & beyond to cater for my needs or wants. Its a beautiful welcome sanctuary after travelling many hours & had a late swim in the pool & in the morning before leaving. It's so very peaceful apart from the TV across the roadbut it wasn't on much or too late. Azza on reception again so very lovely that she helped me find out train times with ease. Highly recommend 👌

Beautiful place and very well taken care of. The guys from housekeeping/waiters are so nice. The pool is an amazing addition in the heat that we had. The location is beautiful and very romantic in the evening. We loved the calm atmosphere. Rooms were clean, cozy and quiet.

The girls at the desk could be a little nicer and give more information about how to move around, also for cheaper prices. We ate at the restaurant once, spaghetti with tomato sauce, and the pasta was hard. Maybe the Egyptian options are much better. Very expensive also! We ate in a restaurant next door for a 10th of that price. Other than that we had a great stay.

Breakfast was typically Egyptian, fresh juices and fruit every day. Every day a different kind of juice and fruit. They grow their own fruit, herbs and vegetables. Sustainable cooking for sure! The lunch and dinner were also very good. Varied choice and well prepared. The staff was very kind and friendly. They did their utmost best to make us feel at home. The manager always made sure that everything was done properly and he arranged all our trips. There was always someone to help and talk to. Everyone was very warm, kind and friendly. Our manager Said did a great job and Achmed one of the waiters made sure we enjoyed all our meals and stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel has a spectacular view of the Nile. This hotel is a special place and I would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately I read a very negative review about this hotel. I would like to say that this review is not correct. We were staying at the same time and I know for sure that the manager and the staff did their best for this group of guests. I do not have anything negative to say about our stay, only compliments and appreciation.

We had an excellent time staying here. The staff was attentive to all our needs. They helped book taxis, hot air balloon rides, and pick up from the airport. Staying on this side of Luxor was a huge relief from the chaos of Cairo. They have their own kitchen so you don't need to run over to Luxor for an evening meal. The manager got back 50 dollars for our balloon ride when one of our group couldn't go at the last minute. They booked us our own taxi for the day to take us to the valley of the kings and queens. Wifi works fine. The pool was great.

They advertise jacuzzi. I even emailed and asked if they were working. On arrival, the one on the roof was not working. One of their pictures sort of shows a jacuzzi. I thought I booked a room with that too. There are none on any balcony.

Beautiful property and stunning views, conveniently located on West Bank. Staff are all so very nice including receptionist Assa. Food was exceptional, loved the tagines and the fruits. Best meals we had in Egypt. Breakfast is so generous and delightful. For early excursions, they were able to arrange some bread we could keep in the room which was great.

We went during December and it is cold outside their dining area is exclusively outside so can be a bit chilly. In evenings they set up a fire so we could more comfortably dine outside. Organisation is a bit chaotic and sometimes they would get pre agreed details wrong about late checkout. Some staff members’ English was limited so sometimes difficult to communicate.

This is a a true gem, a Jewel by the Nile. It's a bit harder to get to the West Bank when you have arrived on the East Bank. This place is worth that trip. The area feels a bit rural so when you arrive it's an oasis that unfolds. They have their own organic garden, which the staff will be happy to show you. Amazing restaurant in the patio, and service. Amazing personnel. All of them. High comfort. Attention to details. You will hear birds and some honking from boats on the Nile (instead of traffic on the East Bank). The manager Said will organise your private guide to all Luxor sights. The dialogue was so nice with them all, so I even told Said I would give him and his team a 10 rating. Good wifi in all areas is another plus.

Only issue was that lighting in our bathroom was weak. It was a bit dark.

The staff is amazing, kind, and helpful. Mr. Sayid and Mr. Muhammad were extremely interested in providing a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are big and clean. Additionally, other staff members such as Ahmed, Ali, Eltayed, and Khalid were really kind and always ready to help. The hotel is located on the West Bank, so it's far from the city center. However, the peaceful and calm environment you can experience there makes the trip worthwhile. They have their own farm so most of the food is organic directly to the dish.

The wifi connection is weak and unstable, especially inside the rooms. It's better in social areas. I believe it's important to improve the coverage and speed of the service.

The people of the hotel are very welcoming and helpful (but also a bit pushy sometimes). Rooms and beds are good. The pool and surrounding farmland are beautiful. Yiu are far away from the east bank of the Nile which is something to consider. But the we specificallt chose for this because it is more quiet and yiu have the opportunity to eat lovely authenitic food in the surrounding restaurants (which is actually eating at other peoples home)

The bread they serve at breakfast is often old and hard. Minor point is that the room lacks a place to put your luggage. Could be more (brighter) light in the bathroom.
