the people at the hotel were so nice and set up transportation so i didn't have to worry about getting to and from places. As soon as i was ready to go somewhere they immediately answered and were there within minutes. I came to the hotel as a solo traveler and was treated like a princess during my stay. Thank you to the owner Mohammed, Ali who was such a cool guy , the chef at the rooftop (my apologies i forgot his name ) 😅 and bashar for making me feel very welcomed as well as the rest of the staff. They have good people here who will treat you with respect and are very nice.Next time i go to Luxor, i will stay here again. Until next time my friends-Yajaira

Look no further. Stay here!! This has been our favourite accommodation in Egypt. Hands down. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The views of Hatshepsut temple from the roof terrace was amazing. We enjoyed the views from the pool as well as over breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and they aimed to please us. They took time to get to know our preferences and adapted things to help us such as making scrambled eggs instead of omelette for our fussy children! The room we had was enormous and clean. We ate dinner here both evenings because we could order Egyptian food for the adults and Western food for the kids and it was reasonably priced as well as being delicious. For a family of 5 a private boat to the other side of the Nile worked out cheaper than the ferry. We just hailed taxis and haggled for a good price to visit Karnak, Luxor Temple, Felucca ride, Valley of Kings, Colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple and Medinat Habu. All were amazing....but a bit hot in August!!

Thebes hotel offered comfortable and clean rooms. The rooftop with the pool is perfect to relax and cool down in the Luxor heat after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and courteous. The West bank location offers beautiful views in a calmer setting. Do consider that getting around to the East bank can get costly by Egyptian standards and that Uber on the West bank didn't seem to work. Overall we had a great experience!

The breakfast is somewhat limited, fruits would be a nice addition. One of the single beds in the second room was uncomfortable and completely worn out.

Absolutely lovely hotel that took us by surprise. Paid a bargain price for two nights with breakfast. Staff made us feel like family. Wonderful pool and views across the Theban mountains. The bar and restaurant was excellent, lots of choice. Room was really spacious and bed was comfy! We had a sofa set in the room and a balcony. Gardens are super stunning. Kitchen in room was nicely stocked with cups etc. Really loved the painting designs around the hotel! Staff at the bar on the roof was extremely sweet. Prices overall for food and drink was very reasonable. Breakfast was just enough including an egg station.

We order dinner one evening and although it was tasty and very reasonably priced, it did come up to the table cold but in the moment we didn't raise this as we were hungry. There could be more toiletries in the bathroom like at least a shower gel or another soap as ther was just one soap and two little packets of shampoo. It wasnt too bad of an issue. Could have been provided with water.

The rooftop bar and swimming pool are an oasis. Good sized pool, beautiful Mountain View and quiet by Egyptian standards. There are many staff but they just want you to be comfortable. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and an ensuite bath and shower. They are cleaned thoroughly daily. There is a kettle, fan and balcony

The internet was intermittent for 2 days and there was a bit of maintenance noise. I suspect this is typical for Egypt - it is a noisy country compared to Europe and the technology isn’t always reliable. The manager did everything he could to resolve issues and ensure comfort.

The rooftop pool was great and the views at anytime of day were incredible, especially during breakfast when the hot air balloons are out. Staff were always helpful and all made me feel at home! Ali and his father were there to check me in and out, they are more than happy to organise transport and tours for you. Service wasn't forced, but the team will help with everything you need, very laid back. Rooms were kept clean and new towels daily. The ferry to the east bank is a 20ish minutes walk from the hotel and runs 24 hours.

WiFi was not great in the rooms, majority of my plug sockets weren't working and the location was fine for me but might be challenging others.

The hotel was big with great views from the 5th floor roof terrace. The staff was very friendly and the owner made sure you were looked after. Rooms are very spacious with a balcony. The location was very good for access to the Luxor city for markets and also the temples, air balloons etc. Food and drink prices are very good compared to other hotels. All activities can be booked directly with the hotel for cheaper prices than many tours offer. I'd wish I knew that before booking them. Overall we had a very good time. The owner let us stay longer as we had a flight in the afternoon and we wanted to go to markets during the day.

Maybe WiFi could be improved in the rooms but we had our esim data so it didn't bother us.

Lovely quiet hotel, lovely rooms and even a kettle. Nice towel art. Good breakfast! Great pool! Easy to walk down the Nile (or catch a tuk tuk 50ep) and the public ferry (20ep) to get to the West Bank. No need for expensive tours! Lovely overall. Slow food service but have a swim while you wait. Great view from rooftop!

We loved everything about this hotel. From the beginning we were welcomed like in a family by the owner, who was extremely helpful and kind throughout our trip. He and his son helped us with the cars we needed, and arranged the best boat and guide for us. They even made us take out breakfast when we left, as our flight was early in the morning. The hotel in itself was perfect: very modern rooms, tastefully decorated, with splendid balconies and the most fantastic rooftop with a pool and restaurant. The views were absolutely incredible, facing the Valley of Kings.

Located in the West Bank close to Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Hot Air Balloons, nice rooftop swimming pool, good beers and ice cream, service is good, nice hot shower when needed, Muhamed the owner and Maria are very attentive and good service.

Breakfast was okay, not really good, but that is everywhere in egypt, the location you need to take tuktuk 5 minutes to the Nile Port for 100 EP then take a boat to the East Bank for another 100 EP and you will be in all the temples, markets and such.
