Andorra's capital was busy when we arrived but the traffic calmed down as we drove towards La Massana and then Arinsal. Hotel Camapedrosa is on the main street of Arinsal, which is a ski resort in the winter but evidently still a lively tourist destination in early May! Our room was a standard twin room but had two of the tiniest balconies I've ever seen - each has only just enough room for a small chair! But they looked over the main street, so great for people-watching. The hotel receptionist was also in charge of the bar and she was friendly and welcoming and rustled up bar snacks for us hungry travellers! Breakfast was included in our room price and served in the bar next morning - very tasty and suitably filling! There is a large free public car park behind the hotel, so parking is easy and there's also a little trail which starts from it. As well as the 'old town' in the capital, we also visited the interesting Hydro-Electric museum in Encamp parish. The lady in the ticket office speaks English and she is very knowledgeable about the history of the museum building.

The location is absolutely fantastic—just a short walk to the ski station in Arinsal, with stunning views to enjoy! The showers were great, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay after a day on the slopes.

The breakfast was decent, but the variety of options was very limited. Fresh scrambled eggs weren’t available, and on some days, even when requested, there was a long wait to get them. This could be improved to enhance the overall breakfast experience.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. Could not ask for better. WiFi is excellent, location and parking is excellent. Beds are very comfortable and the room was nice and warm. TV in the room was fine, and had channels in Spanish, Portuguese, french and English. Breakfast was good, except when busy as a lot of younger people were staying there. They would arrive first thing and hoarded all the pastries to take skiing with them. You'd watch them making baguettes etc and then taking them for lunch. Which meant if you didn't get there early you missed out. Dinner was excellent also. We had a set menu for 6 nights as it was quiet, but on Friday night there was a buffet which was amazing. Really nice. The bar downstairs was excellent, lovely locals, great prices on drinks and as I said excellent staff. The staff are the ones that make the place so good.

Annoyed as all rooms are advertised with a balcony. We did not have one, just a tiny room with 2 beds. Don't advertise what you don't have. Only half of their rooms have balconys I'd say. The ceiling light in the room was broken, instead of fixing it they just took it away and pushed the wires into the hole in the ceiling! The shower was in need of repair, leaking and mouldy grout. No window in the bathroom and no fan to extract the steam and smells. No storage to put ski gear and boots was a problem also. Just need a decent maintenance team to keep on top of the things that need doing. However I'm just pointing out the bad bits for an honest review. . I'd definitely stay here again

Thanks a lot to very helpful staff who thought about us and left the key for the room for us who came at midnight after the check-in time. Overall, the hotel isn't fancy but it's clean and the breakfast was good.

We came too late (our fault of course) and there was nobody to explain us where to park properly and as a result we got a parking fine next morning. It's not the hotel's fault, but just be careful with parking in the area and require clear instructions.

Location is great and very central. As a base for me and my boy it was ideal. The bed was comfortable and the room clean if a little dated.

The food is not the greatest but breakfast was OK. Only had one meal in the evening then went out as it wasn't great food

Excellent location. Close to ski lift and all amenities, bars, restaurants, etc. We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Front desk staff were impossible to find, but very helpful once at the desk. The cleanliness could be a bit improved as there was mold in the shower tiles and cobwebs around the ceilings, but overall, it was exceptional value for money and we were very satisfied.

Great location, spacious room, clean and functional. Great breakfast. Breakfast staff were fantastic in keeping the plates full.

Staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Great location. Room clean and beds were comfy. Nice balcony and view. Would definitely recommend this place!

Would have liked to have a kettle in the room to make tea however we got hot water from the bar downstairs every morning/night and that was fine.

The balcony with the awesome mountain view, Breakfast was amazing and more than enough for two travelers on a motorcycle. The staff gets a 10 out of 10! Perfect location for hiking the Pyrenees mountains. Only 15mins to the city center. Should you want to try other cuisines, there are numerous other options within walking distance

the second night I changed to different room, very small one, I couldnt take shower standing, because of the roof.
