The staff was incredible, especially Axel. They helped us with so many things and they were always kind and professional. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The restaurant was a fun place to sit outside and view much of Barcelona from a high vantage point.

The property was beautiful, clean easy to reach and located in a fancy and safe place.

The location is excellent. The staff are very friendly, responding and eager to help. Very good breakfast and facilities.

The only problem was that all nights there were noises of rats walking in the ceiling, which was very annoying and did not make for a very good sleep.

Location, location, location - great for shopping and access for eating out. Great breakfast spread; terrace a happy place to chill at end of day. A winning service was allowing us to store luggage several days prior to checkin. A high recommendation to friends and family. But see below.

Bathroom badly designed and very big drawback to comfort of stay. So many silly, bad points!! Step dividing the confined area is a hazzard! Inevitable water splashing from shower stall makes the whole place messy and adds to the hazzard. Going into the toilet stall requires deft manouvering between the main door and the internal glass door, and minding the step. Flashy but flimsy cistern buttons. Why the gap between the table top and the back wall? Not hooks to hang the big towels after showering. Internal glass doors right up to ceiling also unhelpful in this regard and totally superfluous.

Great location have stayed at hotel before. Excellent breakfast and very helpful front desk. Front desk sorted tickets to Sagra for us at short notice. All helpful and supply bottled water. Great breakfast.

Room cards having to be reset for lift and rooms cards not working. Pool is really just a plunge pool very crowded due heat. Music on rooftop bar needs to be slightly toned down as very loud early and people just want to sit enjoy view and atmosphere with some quieter background music.

Everything was perfect. Rooms are great and clean, staff are friendly , good breakfast, very well located - all was great . Alex was great in recommending a good restaurant for my birthday .

Central location in nice part of town. Rooms were very clean and modern with all the amenities. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of quality foods. Rooftop bar had amazing views of the city

Booking.com messed up our reservation. The hotel only showed 2 people in 2 rooms, instead of 4 people in 2 rooms. Even though I had a printout and email confirmation showing 4 people, the front desk clerk was not willing to take that as proof of 4 guests and wanted to charge us for 2 additional breakfasts. It took an hour of calls/hold time w Booking.com to straighten it out

We loved every minute here and will be back! The attention to detail, service, hospitality and kindness of all the staff is unparalleled. Special thanks to David on the front desk who was incredibly welcoming and gave us many recommendations for places to eat in Barcelona.....even at 3am when we arrived after our flight was delayed. The bedroom was very quiet, an elegant bathroom and we had views of both the Sagrada Familia and Casa Battló from our balcony. Best Chicken Croquettes I've tasted in the Sky Bar too. Wondrous! (Tiny negatives) Breakfast was superb. We both however, would have liked to have known about being able to choose dishes from the menu for breakfast in addition to the buffet. Neither of us were informed about this upon our arrival in the downstairs breakfast area. We only overheard this from a waiter telling another couple who had arrived. Also coffee can be made for you instead of the self service machine at the buffet (again the waiters should really have informed us of this). We only found this out by asking if it was possible as the buffet coffee machine isn't the best. Beautiful food however.

Only negative would be as mentioned re the breakfast menu and also a nespresso or other coffee pod machine in the rooms. These should really be available instead of instant coffee. Especially with all of the attention to detail regarding everything else.

Excellent location! Main street, great surroundings. Bed: big and comfy. Specious bathroom. Balcony is a bonus e.g. To dry clothes or towels in superhot weather. AC was working without disruption.

Lack of see-through curtains. Either you dark your room or you are on the spot. A bit dusty. Bedding had dark markes after iron. From 4* hotels Id expected higher quality. Pool - Nice additional place in hot weather you appreciate it , but its very small. 7 ppl in the pool and its crowded. Id describes it rather a puddle to have a drink and chat rather than swim.

Professional and friendly staff. Location was amazing. Bed was big and extremely comfortable. The room we were given was spacious and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

We were given towels that had large stains twice in a 5 night stay. This is more of a problem of the team/company that handles the laundry and delivers them folded (but not clean…) but this isn’t something you want to see getting out of the shower in a 4* hotel. Concierge was quick to resolve the issue both times.
