This is a fantastic hotel if you just want to relax. The staff, rooms, and location are great. Nice and easy place to stay. Plenty of sun loungers, bar never too busy, loads of staff. Was perfect for us. We paid extra for a corner sea view and we had the sun all day. Other guests were great and it was very quiet at night. Ten minute walk to marina if you wanted late night life. We loved the breakfast. Just to note, some of the complaints about this hotel on reviews are just silly. If the sunbed is too hard, bring a cushion from your room down, if you don't like plastic cups by the pool for your alcohol it's to stop broken glass going in to the pool or from cutting you. This is basic safety. There is plenty of water in the restaurants. There are steps at the back of the hotel down but you can walk around another way if you are unable. It's not difficult. Anyway, wonderful place to stay.

still some people leave towels to book the lounging chairs by the pool and nobody has done anything with that, so I had no space in the sunshine, had to sunbathe from the balcony. also i would love to see more entertainment, very repetitive

Well appointed hotel with very comfortable rooms , nice pool area and great bars

Disappointed on arrival to find that the beach outside the hotel was closed due to renovation work. I like to base myself on the beach rather than round the very busy pool area so this was not possible without a 20 minute walk to open beaches. I would have thought it courteous for the hotel to make this clear to residents ( they would have known for a long time ) as this would have given the opportunity to make other arrangements. No discount to the price was offered as compensation for the inconvenience.

The hotel is beautiful and very modern compared to some others in the area. The rooms were spotless, modern and very comfortable. Our room had a direct sea view and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The balcony is a lovely sun trap if your going in the cooler months. The pool area is beautiful, very relaxing and spotlessly clean. There is a snack bar as well for food and drinks which is great. There's also direct access from the hotel down to the promenade and then it's just a couple of steps to the beach. 5 mins walk to the marina so the location is fantastic. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely hotel, spotless, regular room cleaning and towel changes. Fantastic views and right on the beach. Area quiet overall but it was late February. Super buffet food with plenty of tasty options. Bring your own coffee for the room as only one sachet per person provided. Cannot fault anything really.

Staff at Reception overall friendly but there is always one! a grumpy male. More effort required in general on arrival and checkout, as in being friendly and not making their paying guests feel like a number if you get me

2nd visit to this hotel & once again everything was exceptional. We had a deluxe room with a beautiful front facing sea view on the 5th floor. Rooms are spacious & spotless. The staff are so friendly & helpful from reception to the bar & cleaning staff. Pool area always chilled & relaxing and both times we have never struggled to get a lounger. We upgraded to breakfast and the €15 pp was well worth it, great choice & had everything you need. Beach stone throw away down the steps & you can get 2 beds with parasol for €14. Lots of bars & restaurants to choose from all excellent. Short stroll to marina or €7 in a taxi. Would definitely recommend this hotel & can’t wait to visit again soon.

The whole experience was 100% From the initial communication after booking through to our very early checkout, everything was spot on and efficiently organised The hotel is immaculate, fresh and clean with a beautiful aroma all the way through to our room. It is located on the beachfront with access to the beach via a few steps at the side of the hotel. Sunlounge hire at the beach is 14eu for 2 all day Hotel spa facilities were great with jacuzzi, thermal showers and indoor pool.There is also access to the infinity pool and sun loungers next to the spa. Thoroughly recommend the salt scrub massage , all the staff in spa are brilliant and communicated via what's app to ensure our booking was planned as requested. BIG shout out to Jimena from room service, you are fantastic, many thanks for the treats and replacing our water bottles! There is a good variety of local restaurants nearby and at the marina which is about 15- 20min walk away. Recommend the hop on bus for sightseeing and a ride on the cable car overlooking the town. Evening entertainment was also thoroughly fantastic, especially the flamenco dancers. Thank you Benalmadena Beach Hotel We are definitely going to return !

Lifts are a bit temperamental,. 1 was out of order and were often overcrowded in the evening. As we were on 3rd floor, we didn't mind using the stairs but it may be difficult for those staying on higher floors

We liked the pool, location and cleanliness of the hotel.

We really didn't enjoy the food. Sadly breakfast was disappointing. The prepared meals such as scrambled eggs were always cold. The waffles were hard and chirros greasy... The coffee was just OK. It was also quite chaotic. Running out of plates, water, cutlery. On the one night we dined in the restaurant I found the food very unpleasant. The pasta was cold, the meatballs unpleasant, generally the food on display was very unappealing. I couldn't finish any of the food due to its taste. I had a small salad dish the mayonnaise was overpowering and general taste unpleasant. The deserts were also very poor. Unpleasant taste. The only pleasant tasting items were the ice cream, fruit and bread and cheese. This is a shame. We stayed in a 3star hotel last year and the food was much better.

Side sea view was beautiful, with wrap around balcony. Well worth a bit extra. I had told the hotel e were celebrating an anniversary so they had decorated our room and left cava on ice which we enjoyed on the balcony. Staff were pleasant. Rooftop terrace bar great but it was raining hen we were there so didn't get to enjoy it fully. Breakfast and dinner were good. Food was plentiful with good choice and enough staff. Shops and bars easy to get to locally, good location. Taxi ordered by hotel was 27 euros to airport, we paid 17 euros via Uber.

A non seaview wouldn't have been nice, just car parks and busy main street. Glad we paid for sea view.

Booked 2 x rooms with a sunset view and didn't disappoint! Rooms were really spacious, comfy beds, a/c, separate walk in shower and hand basins outside of room which were an excellent idea. The hotel exceeded expectations. Reception staff were very welcoming and so helpful. We were given a complimentary drink from the bar as we had a to wait a few minutes after check-in for our rooms to be ready - a really nice touch! A special mention to Joel who lent me an iPhone charger/adapter as I had forgotten to pack mine. Our rooms were cleaned every day and a special mention to Jennifer who did an amazing job, especially tidying up my daughters' room each day! The breakfast is a must - an amazing feast and caters for everyone's taste. We will certainly return!

One small gripe - pool bar prices for food a little on the expensive side.
