The hotel was very quaint, with lovely historic touches. Upon arrival we were upgraded to another room, which used to be the library and had many shelves of books ... a must for those who appreciate literature! We very much appreciated the fireplace which warmed up the room nicely in the middle of winter. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, situated on a little square with cafes and restaurants, and a grove of orange trees ...a real delight!

The staircase in the bedroom was a little narrow & dark, so we had to be careful when climbing up to bed at night. The room was a little dusty and some of the features a little dated, including the bed blanket + linen ... it could do well with a bit of freshening up. The walls were very thin, so you could hear everything from the guests next door; not very pleasant.

Wrong room the 1st night....at front and very noisy which meant not being able to open windows..was not have a balcony overlooking courtyard, and no tea and coffee making facilities which were all stated when booked....complained and were moved to correct room.....luckily people were vacating their room......

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Ateneo Sevilla! This is an incredible hotel: small but very cozy, with a wonderful and unique atmosphere. Our room was gorgeous — you can tell that every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, so it’s super convenient to explore all the sights. Breakfast was also excellent — a great selection and everything was fresh and delicious, which is impressive for a boutique hotel of this size. Honestly, the hotel feels more like a five-star property. Overall, this was one of the best places we've ever stayed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for real comfort and the true atmosphere of Seville!

Everything was great!

This historic property, located in a renaissance villa on a quiet square, was perfect for our first introduction to Seville. We were upgraded to a full suite (from junior suite booked. On two floors with a library and oriole windows overlooking the square, it was a nice treat for our anniversary. The staff was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly and super helpful in solving a minor medical issue when we first arrived. Our housekeeper was so warm and kind every time we saw her, I really wanted to buy her a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and get to know her better (despite the language barrier.)

While the suite upgrade was great, the space is on two levels connected by an enclosed circular staircase, which probably should have been communicated to us - hauling suitcases up the narrow stairs was a bit of a hassle. The suite also has a connecting room available and we could hear a lot when that room was occupied. Both in the rooms and in the breakfast rooms, the chairs screech across the marble floors. Sound can be an issue in historic building, but a simple fix would be felt pads on the feet of all chairs. Minor distractions to a lovely stay.

Exceptional hotel, central location in buzzing little square with bars and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. Enchanting rooms with very comfortable beds and it was peaceful. The staff were all delightful, they did everything possible to make our stay in this beautiful city one to remember. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. You feel like you are staying in someone's private house. The hotel booked a traditional flamenco show for us, mind blowing experience, you must book the one they recommend.

The hotel areas and rooms were beautiful. One room needed to be changed and they were able to do this for us on the second night. All rooms are different and unique with wonderful deep colors and antiques.

The only problem was parking and getting our luggage from the car to the hotel and back to the car. It took over an hour to get our car from the parking garage to the hotel the day we left because so many of the streets were blocked off. It was not the hotel's fault that the streets were blocked off but it gave us a very hectic and late departure.

Location - only 10 mins to the centre. Great restaurants nearby. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Room - we booked a junior suite, it is very spacious. No much natural light in the room but its very private as its right at the back. Needs a bit of redecoration on the bathroom walls. Bed and pillows - very comfortable (if you like a firm mattress and high pillows), I had a very good sleep. Decoration - unique and interesting. Breakfast - lots of choice of fresh produce and cooked food available to order. Very nice coffee.

Like walking into a museum. Stunning hotel. Lovely people who are happy to help with anything. Absolutely fabulous location. Will definitely return. 10/10 exceptional.

The hotel is beautiful with elegant decoraton and furnishings throughout. My room was exceptionally comfortable and beautifully furnished in keeping with the public areas. The location of the hotel is very convenient for access to the town with the Setas de Seville being very close and the Cathedral and Palace about a 15 minute walk away through the charming narrow streets of the old town. The staff are efficient, very helpful, and friendly

The hotel was a little too quiet for my taste, but a good night's sleep was guaranteed as a result.

All the staff are very nice Rosio, Jorge, Augustine and others whom I forgot their names. Place is very clean. Location is perfect it’s just walking distance to historic places, 3 mins walk to La setas, close to shops, flamenco show and restaurants. Our room is perfect exactly what we expected. Big beds, spacious, clean, proper ventilation. Our bathroom is clean. They change towels and clean room everyday. Breakfast is good. They serve coffee and cook eggs by request. I love this hotel definitely I will always stay here when I comeback to Seville.
