The hotel was in a perfect location within all the historic sights. Quite a busy location during the day with tourists but is quiet after midnight with the exception of the church bells which chime every 15 minutes. Very helpful, efficient staff. No restaurant on site but very nice breakfast in their sister hotel just down the passageway outside. Rooms were refurbished and clean with large comfy beds. The only negative was that they didn't replenish tea and coffee each day, nor wash the cups. On the whole, I would definitely recommend.

I cannot fault the hotel, the staff (who could not be more helpful) cleanliness or the location. Our only issue was with the booking process. Our first attempt to book the hotel was cancelled and there was no way of getting through to the hotel to find out why. We did manage to re-book with no issue but would be helpful to have a phone number that someone actually answers. Our friend had booked breakfast, but the rest of us did not. The coffee machine did not work so all of us in the end went and had breakfast somewhere else. Perhaps the HALO can get a couple of decent coffee machines? Finally, my room 106 needs to have the hair dryer wall attachment looked at, as it is hanging loose from the wall.

Booking Process as described above

Property was in good location on beautiful plaza. We had terrace which was nice in morning and evening. Carlos helped us with luggage when we were going to bus station.

We were aware when we booked that there was not a minibar or refrigerator, but it would have been nice for our 5 night stay. A small hanging space was over a shelf so was useless as if you hung anything then there was no place to place anything aside from deep window sills. We lived out of our packing cubes for which we were happy.

I love the square where the hotel is located. The square is small and covered in trees. My room was on the first floor looking onto the square with the lovely orange trees filling my view. A glass of sparkling wine served on your arrival. The room is small but perfectly anointed with what you need. Bathroom is small but a great shower! Comfy linens. Always bottled water available in the room which is a big plus. Loved the restaurant tables right outside on the square ...made for a great place for an afternoon drink and relax during the siesta hours in the afternoon.

Pillows were a bit flat..needed several for a nights sleep. The square was a bit noisy during the day and made for keeping my balcony doors closed most of the time...but the early morning was wonderful with the doors open and fresh air coming in the room while I had my tea and at late night after dinner was over.

The location is amazing tucked away in the tiny streets of the old town, and 2 minutes from the Alcazar and cathedral. All the staff were so friendly and helpful both in the Elvira and next door in the Halo where you have breakfast. (Which was a great buffet by the way). We had a balcony which was lovely, sitting out with a glass of bubbly listening to the cathedral bells.

The room space is fantastic although there is not much h space to store anything, no drawers etc but that was fine for us as we were only there a couple of nights.

Location is just perfect, right in the historic area of Santa Cruz in one of the most picturesque square, perfect to live the real Andaluse experience. We were given a free upgrade to Hola Hotel - next by, literally attached to Hotel Elvira - and we honestly couldn’t be happier for that! Staff was incredibly polite and professional at al times during our stay, nicely engaging with us being very helpful with any sort of request. They never missed an opportunity to greet us while passing by the lobby area!

It can sometimes be noisy during the night

Nice location in a park courtyard. The room was small but comfortable. Restaurants and bars and sights are in close proximity. The breakfast was held around the corner at partnered hotel, the staff at breakfast was friendly and the food was good. Staff was most accommodating and welcoming.

Hair dryer did the job but wasn’t great. Nowhere to put your suitcase.

The location in the old town was excellent. The room had air conditioning. The shower was brilliant. The two Carlos were excellent on reception.

A small fridge in the room is really an essential. The temperature was around 37 degrees, so cold drinks would have been good.

Great location for all attractions. Situated in a lovely square.

Nowhere in the room to store anything, very limited space. A very small narrow table for kettle, cup & saucers etc. The room could have been better designed. A full length mirror would have been good there was plenty of wall to put one. Attention to detail when cleaning. For the price, dissapointing.

The location was great: close to the Catedral and Real Alcazar and to lots of bars and restaurants. Pedestrianised area so no cars which was very nice. Room was very comfortable and very clean. The terrace had a great view of the Giralda. The square was nice with orange trees. The air con worked very well and the double glazed windows made it very quiet. The bed was firm and really comfortable. The staff were polite, helpful and charming; I felt we could ask them anything. There is a sister hotel 30 seconds walk round the corner for breakfast, but other places locally to go as well. We had a great time in Seville and would definitely stay again at this hotel.
