The location, close to virtually everything that you would want to see in Seville. The Dona Maria probably has the best location in all of old town, Seville right next to the Cathedral. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. With a special mention for the lady serving breakfasts (Roxa or Roga?..sorry, can't remember the correct spelling of her name) but she was exceptional. The roof top bar was probably the icing on the cake, a warm sun trap during the day and warming heaters while you sip your cocktails (or beer) on a cool February evening.

No place to get a coffee. A bar on the ground floor. The 3rd floor bedrooms suffered from constant, late music on the roof with bumps and bangs till 12.00 midnight.

A very traditional hotel with wonderful old fashion decor right in front of the cathedral. Beautiful l9cation with views to La Giralda. We were woken up by the clipy - teee - clops of the horse carriages in the morning. Room was u er clean. The decor is old fashion which is refreshing as all modern hotels look the same so it was fun to experience a look from the past. Staff allowed us late check in for a reasonable amount which was great. The hotel has a great roof terrace with pretty views to the cathedral and roof tops. Perfect stay.

The location is the best feature of this property. The terrace has gorgeous views. The property and rooms are well appointed and immaculately clean. I like the nespresso in-room, which, judging by past reviews, indicates a recent improvement.

The breakfast was good but a little pricey. Other hotels in the area charge 12-14€. Staff were courteous and efficient but some were aloof.

Superior room had excellent views of the square and Giralda Tower in the heart of the historic centre and we enjoyed hearing the bells being rung. Location was fantastic. Wonderful views from the rooftop bar. The hotel is full of antiquities with some nice artwork and period furniture. It’s one of the few hotels with an outside rooftop pool, unfortunately we were out of season so it was closed but it looked lovely.

The room only had one chair, a second would have been a useful addition to sit and read. Unfortunately there were building works being carried out on the second floor so the stairs were cordoned off and the small lift (3 or 4 persons depending on weight) had to be used by all guests, it did get busy at times. Nice seating area in the reception which was under utilised.

the room and bed were lovely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Easy location to walk around. the staff were kind and helpful, especially kitchen staff, after I was sick. They let me have breakfast a bit late. Breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the upper level patio in the evening, and the music was excellent.

I don't speak Spanish well. There was a misunderstanding about a bottle of Cava that they gave me. I tried to ask them to cork bottle but just confused everyone. I am sorry that I may have hurt the feelings of young woman who brought it to my room later. Please apologize for me. I just wanted something to plug it so it wouldn't go flat! My fault..

Lovely old traditional hotel with a great roof top bar. My friend& I booked a superior twin room which was directly over a busy street full of bars & restaurants. When we had the Juliet balcony doors open, it was extremely noisy and a certain level of noise could still be heard when the doors were closed. Also about three different sets of bells chime throughout the day and one on the hour at night, which can be heard if you’re a light sleeper. This was room 320. We asked to move and it wasn’t a problem, we were allocated a much quieter room across the corridor. Both rooms were prettily decorated & furnished. Plenty of hot water for bath & shower. Breakfast buffet was very good with cereals, fruit, pastries, cake, cooked meats/cheese, eggs & bacon. The staff at breakfast were charming & helpful. Reception staff were equally helpful recommending traditional tapas restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the hotel but not tourist traps. Hotel is in immediate vicinity of Giralda, cathedral & Real Alcazar.

The location was amazing, central to everything. We were blown away by the standard of the hotel on arrival. It was stunning. Very classy and we loved the decor. Our room was very spacious, we had just booked a standard double. Breakfast was a lovely buffet. The rooftop bar area was a really nice bonus, such a great spot for the Giralda Tower. Everywhere in the hotel also smelt amazing 🥰

The only negative was some street noise very late at night outside. But that's not down to the hotel. Other than that, we loved everything. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to return.

Great location, steps from Cathedral, Girona, Real Alcazar. 10 min walk to Las Setas, 20 min to Plaza de Espana. Comfortable beds. Room with small balcony, bit of a view to Cathedral. Good A/C. Excellent breakfast. Terrific staff who arranged a taxi for us on departure; we were unsure if taxis could reach the hotel on Palm Sunday morning but it was no problem. Interesting old world decor.

Bathroom a bit cramped but it had a bidet, and toilet could flush toilet paper. Some noise from the hallway, closing doors and hallway conversations, but not bad. Rooftop terrace only open during restaurant/bar hours, and not really a place to relax or take a photo unless you are eating/drinking; pool not accessible in April.

The hotel is a real gem, right beside the magnificent cathedral and old town. It is spacious and has lovely, individually decorated bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is good, if somewhat expensive!
