Breakfast Room Location

No onsite restaurant. However, the staff were able to assist with delivery options, which were great.

It is very convenient to the Roper/MUSC camous. Directly across from the VA. The 213 bus stop is right out front. Included breakfast was delicious. Quaint hotel. Loved the fact that a microwave is in the room. Bed is great.. Nice furnishings. I got a water,highway & pool view without even trying.

Rust on the bathroom hooks, toilate tissue holders, some closet hinges and Hangers. I found a few stray hairs on lamp shades and in the shower and some white stuff on one of the pouffs. Stains on the ceilings and walks. Scratch on my TV screen. Dresser drawers off track.

The location was in the area of a medical center and is a 20 min to walk into Charleston, but along the way you get to see and feel the neighborhood of how the locals lived and the old houses of days pass. The walk was a safe walk and their was a private girl school in the area and historical houses. The hotel itself was going through a renovation and you were foreworn and with that in mind it was a nice stay. No sit down breakfast but something to take as you walk. Free parking is very limited, once full concierge service take over.

Could have compted us for no sit-down breakfast and the construction, but still okay.

The hotel was a very good price to be located near the Historic District. The breakfast was very good . The area was clean every morning and the variety was nice. The location was good being a short drive to King, Meeting, etc. The in room microwave was handy. And the fridge.

The room wasn't great. The furniture was banged up. There is a big hole under the sink and there is no cabinet so....The windows were so dirty on the outside that it was difficult to see through even though that side view of the hotel was nothing. The television network offers no "TV guide or Channel guide". The channel selection is okay but you never know what you're watching or what is coming on later. The AC/heat fan runs constantly. Never stops. I asked for a wake up call but didn't get called.

The room was way bigger then expected, had a nice porch and a pool table. Perfect for a couple

The room has a door that connects to a room beside it. At one point during the night there was loud bangs against the wall. Not like someone knocking but like someone being smashed into it. We heard that twice followed by what sounded like cries from a woman. Couldn't really tell. But then everything quieted down. But it did kind of ruin the mood of the night.Also was sketched out with the room being connected to another room with someone sounding like they were getting raped or murdered.

The breakfast was delicious. The Comfort Inn served anything we could have wanted for breakfast, great variety of choices. The room was large; we were not tripping over each other. The bathroom was spacious. The motel was located within easy driving distance to and from the historic area, not counting for traffic. The staff in the dining room was friendly, and helpful in assisting with making waffles etc as needed. She always had a smile on her face, and she SPOKE to everyone entering the dining room. I wish I knew her name. She was wearing a name tag, but I was never in a position to read it. I should have made the effort. We stayed from 1/31 through 2/3, so this would be breakfast on 2/1 through 2/3/24.

My complaints are; it would have been nice to have had the trash emptied daily or have larger trash cans. Also better water pressure, and that it didn't take so long for the water to get hot when getting in the shower.

Room was great. Location we wish had been nearer to downtown...our fault. First morning breakfast they were out of everything and still an hour left of breakfast hours - said they ran out. Second morning was great and young lady working was awesome. I think staff - front desk/valet person could have more knowledge of the surroundings. We did use public transportation and the gentleman for bank security next door was much more helpful with information on the downtown attractions/restaurants.

Convenience to getting to downtown.

Great beds and plenty of space in the room. The location was perfect for getting to downtown Charleston, for example the aquarium for the evening lights. There was parking out the front of the lobby, which was free and we didn't have to worry about spaces (may be time of year). The breakfast buffet was surprisingly varied and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some reviews mentioned the warm water didn't work but it was fine, just needed to run the water in the bath and sink for a little to get the hot water through. No issues and the beds were very comfortable and the room quiet.

Everything was good but the sofa could ofbeen cleaned or replaced, had some spots on it but other than that it was pretty good.

The stay was great. Day shift lady at the desk on July 17th was very helpful and nice got everything to make our room comfortable. She got things I needed to get my children settled in for bed time . Very happy with her 😊

Haveing someone park my vehicle, and then find out that there were children playing on the side of it was very disrespectful. Also with the couch bed there should be extra bedding in the room for that.
