This place is exceptional, very welcoming upon arrival. As soon as we stepped out of our vehicle, we were greeted by Valet. These men were professional, very helpful, and kind. Upon check in, the gentleman that took care of our check in was extremely polite, educated, and kind. The gentleman that helped us with our bags was amazing. He was so kind, funny, and helpful. The hotel was inviting and clean. Everything was top of the line. Any staff member we encountered went above and beyond for us. We will be back next year. Exceptional stay with an exceptional staff.

The location was great with a beautiful view of the lake and Navy Pier. The room was so spacious and clean.

They charged us 20$ each day for "Urban Experience" which didn't make sense. We were told that it was for Internet and amenity that we were not even told when we checked in. Most of the time the Internet is included to the reservation.

The staff is very nice at reception. Very polite, kind and smiling. I have nothing more to asked for reseptionists.

At 9:30am the door bell rang and the room keeping person wanted to clean the room. And again at 11pm the person did it again. The check out time was at noon and I was paying for it. So I think it was very bad.

I booked a room because the hotel next door (Hyatt, where I had a week stay already booked) refused to allow me to check in one day earlier - a real negative score against Hyatt. Swissotel booked me in with no problem and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind in getting all in order for the last-minute booking. I really appreciated the personnel especially in light of having arrived in Chicago after a long cross-Atlantic flight.

Nothing - everything was excellent, especially the view out of the room of the river.

The staff were amazing, everyone was helpful and smiling; they couldn’t do enough for you! The facilities in the room were good too just wish you would shout more about the things you do to be more sustainable- like the fact you get discount for reusing towels etc. such a great incentive but we only saw the sign on our last day completely by accident. The reception area is very contemporary and the bar area is lovely!

The rooms were slightly outdated, the beds slightly small. But the room was a very good size for the three of us and the views were amazing!!!

Wow - booked a room with a lake view and wasdn't disappointed. The room was spacious , comfortable, quiet - loved my stay here. I hope to return!

As a tea drinking English person some small milk cartons in the room rather than creamer would have been welcome.

Shower. Unable to position shower head so that one could prevent water from leaking onto floor, or to comfortably lather and then rinse. The rain shower head has a wide spray, in a very little space.

Lively, quiet, safe, and easy to walk to.

I didn't receive any room cleaning on any of the days I was there (and I was there for 5 nights). Nobody told me that I had to ask for room cleaning in advance. In fact we were told if you don't want your room serviced to hang a placard the night before on the door. I wasn't too bothered as I'm fine given I was solo. Could easily get supplies like new clean towels or soap from the front desk. Had dinner at their Palm Restaurant. The food was alright but not stellar. The price was very high for the quality of the food. Lots of better restaurants around.

Across from the Riverwalk, close to downtown, close to theater district, easy access to the “L”, and professional and helpful staff. This is our second time staying here.

During my stay, I must admit that there were a few things that I found particularly enjoyable. Firstly, I appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were, especially Jean, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He was always available whenever we needed anything. Secondly, the housekeeping team did an excellent job of cleaning our room every day and catering to our needs. Lastly, the hotel's location was ideal as it was conveniently close to everything, eliminating the need to use our car.

While I didn't have a negative experience, I did find the price to be steep, which is to be expected considering its location in Chicago. Furthermore, the hotel was consistently bustling, making it challenging to unwind in the lobby due to the noise and the crowds of people checking in.
