The rooms were very clean, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the kids loved the pool and the adults loved soaking in the hot tub after a day on the slopes (and we loved that they were open til 11pm too!), we were very close to several ski resorts and only about 25 min to Boyne Mountain to ski and see the SkyBridge, there was a small fitness center open 24 hours, and the free breakfast was better than expected with eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and more. Since there were 2 families in our group, we loved hanging out in the lobby on the couches in front of the fireplace and big screen TV. All in all we loved our stay!

Nothing really

We extended our stay and stayed in Gaylord for 8 days as we loved hotel and our room so much. Cozy and warm. Staff were approachable and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of option and was different each day. Pool area was clean. Our King room was amazing. Comfortable beds and linen , jacuzzi tub. Everything for a perfect get away. You could tell from the parking lot that the hotel was full with guests however the layout and the great staff made it so there were not big line up and it didn’t feel super busy.

We had car problems on our trip. There was a Belle Tire nearby so the car could be fixed and walk back to the hotel. Also downtown and local restaurants were within walking distance. The staff was flexible with us on checkout while our car repairs were completed. Room was very comfortable.

Traffic was very heavy around the hotel. However, it was not noticeable while in the room.

The hotel is an old workhorse that has seen many iterations and brands. The current owners have made some cosmetic improvements that make it more inhabitable and have used the present Best Western room model for their redevelopment.

We were on the first floor and it was noisy because we were close to the breakfast room; there was also little insulation between floors, and our upstairs boarders were very busy during the night.

We loved the beds sheets pillows super comfortable. The room was wonderfully clean and had everything we needed. Staff were top notch. Smiling while working. Approachable and knowledgeable about what to do in Gaylord and surrounding areas for fun shopping and dining. We stayed 9 days and it felt like a beautiful chalet. Warm and cozy

Very comfortable beds. I also appreciated the extra vanity and sink outside the bathroom. And the full length mirror was a very nice perk too. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Everything was very clean, including the breakfast room. We enjoyed a fulfilling breakfast each morning during our stay.

There was a little mix up in the billing since I made reservations for both of my brothers as well. But, I was able to straighten it out with one phone call.

The location is perfect, the pool & hot tub area is very nice! It’s great that they still have a hot tub, because so many hotels are getting rid of hot tubs! Breakfast was very good, and not only our room, but the whole establishment is very clean and welcoming.

They could use more parking spots. Otherwise, there was nothing to dislike.

Beds were comfortable, lobby was nice and staff helpful/ friendly. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice and wish we had time for that.

Sausage not fully cooked, would have likes a few more options. Was crowded at times. Parking with all the snowmobiles trailers made parking our car difficult.

Clean, large room. Breakfast was good. Plenty of food and the workers did an outstanding job of stocking and cleaning up as guests left.

Bed a bit uncomfortable. Small dining area for breakfast. Very busy on Saturday night, which comes with lots of noise; pretty much what you expect from a budget hotel.

Very quiet. Only two floors so it made it faster using the elevator or up the stairs. The stairs were carpeted which was good for not slipping. Good breakfast. Very clean rooms.

A little over priced. But it's summertime.
