Very nice facilities, comfy bed, reliable wifi, friendly staff. Loved exploring the local neighbourhood (there is a city farm nearby, lots of fun). There was a sign at reception regarding renovations but we didn't notice them during our stay. Very handy location for our early train from Paris-Est and other attractions are a short Metro ride away. Would stay here again.

There is a sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom that doesn't close 100% — choose your travel companion wisely!

This was our second stay at the hotel, as it is close to Paris Nord where we arrive by train. Once again, we had a very positive experience: nice staff, clean room (a bit small, but that's the standard in big cities), excellent price at a peak time of the holidays. This time we had a room facing an inner courtyard, which was definitely more quiet and pleasant than the ones facing the street. The area where the hotel is located can be a bit rough around Jaures metro station, but if you walk a couple of minutes down Av. Secretan you will find a very pleasant, authentic neighbourhood with cafes, restaurants and a couple of excellent bakeries. Only a few metro stops away from Montmartre, and very close to the beautiful Canal St Martin. We will be back!

A mini fridge in the room would be a great addition.

Overwhelmed at the quality of the fixtures and fittings, it felt like a 5 star hotel. Staff could not be more friendly and professional. The air con was noiseless and very efficient, we had a superb sleep. A stones throw from the metro, cafe's and shops right outside. Even a view of the Sacre Ceur from our top floor balcony. Cold water on arrival. This was excellent value for money. 12 o clock check out is a rare thing these days, but was most welcome as the room was so comfortable it was good to rest before returning to the bustle of Paris.

One lift for 7 floors meant a little waiting time, but that's not something the hotel can do much about.

Everything: the cleanliness, the size and division of space, the room appliances and decorations. The hotel consists of several small buildings, very well isolated, but that is ok, because you have only 4-5 rooms per floor, so less noise. The breakfast was awesome, loves the pancakes, the prosciutto and the croissants. The reception staff was young, friendly and very empathic. Not to mention the location: 10 mins. away from Gare du Nord and 1 min. away from a big metro station.

The room could use a minibar or a fridge and a more comfortable chair. The only one in the room was a small metal (bar)stool without backrest and no seat cushion. But these are minor things of course

Clean and well appointed. Not big rooms but good use of space. The air conditioning is great during a heatwave. Proximity to the cafes and breweries off the canal is really convenient and delightful.

Bathrooms in the rooms are a little dated, but fine. Sliding doors are thin and didn’t close fully or block out sound so if you’re traveling as a couple things can maybe get more intimate than you might prefer.

I was very pleased with my room, which was spacious for a budget hotel. The room is very well designed and has good facilities. All of the staff I dealt with were friendly and efficient. Breakfast is basic but very good. I like the location, next to the metro in an area with excellent facilities (shops, cafes, bars, restaurants) and amenities like the canal and park.

Metro was nearby. Grocery shops were nearby. Hotel was clean & the room stay was comfortable. Staff were helpful and always at hand to help.

Bathroom sink was a bit small so make the water splash everywhere. Other then that all was good. Also could do with a little fridge for the summer.

Perfect location, close to the metro station and well connected to other parts of the city. Lovely, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed + a storage room for the time before check-in and after check-out. No complaints.

The size of the room was pretty small, but even that didn't really bother us.

Small but functional room, acceptable for several days stay. Modern furniture. Good size bathroom. Everything is very clean. Towels changed daily. Acceptable location, one hour walk to Louvre Museum. Several restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Very cloze to public transportation (metro). Good breakfast (even if kind of expensive). If you are looking just for coffee/a croissant and eggs you can find cheaper options at the nearby bistros.

Very soft, uncomfortable mattress, but this depends on your preference. Thin walls, you can here the neighbors talking, but this did not bother us. No fridge in the room.

Lovely front desk staff, they were always super helpful! Comfortable and clean rooms. Good value!

The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a thin glass door, so there isn't a lot of privacy. There is also no ice available in the hotel and no fridge in the room.
