after paying the check in the beachbar, the waiter run after me, he complained that we didn’t gave him enough tip and he want’s more. It is very rude and inappropriate in a 5* Hotel. The restaurant staff also made faces if the tip was less what they excepted. The prices are quite high anyway. I had the feeling, they think so, if I can afford a 5* Hotel, I must give them after every order the expected 25%. That’s why, I don’t think that I will ever return to this hotel.

The property was well maintained and had a good layout. The restaurant/kitchen that fed us for all meals was amazing. The cocktail choices were also very well selected and balanced. Lots of fresh fruit which my family likes. Room was spacious and the staff was very accommodating.

The mosquito repellent that they had was an all natural variety that did not cut the mustard. Highly recommend bringing your own for dinner and activities that are not water related because you can’t use repellent at cenotes or swimming with sea life.

We stayed in La Zebra in mid January for 4 nights. I wished I booked longer. It is located on georgous Tulum beach with white sands and Palm trees. The beach club and food is really good. The ambiance is really nice. Our room was located on the beach with a plunge pool, which was heated whenever we asked for it. The room was very spacious with a nice decoration, exclusive Mexican atmosphere. The room is cleaned everyday. We found hot ginger tea and chocolates every night when we arrived in our room. You have everything ready in the room, from umbrellas to yoga mats, brewed Mexican coffee. Front desk team, Lucy, Ricardo, Estaban were great. Our special thanks to Juan Carlos, he helped us in everthing we asked for, from restaurant recommendations to private excursions. I would definetely recommend La Zebra to anyone travelling to Tulum. Come with or without children. Tulum Tips: The parties in Tulum begin with brunch, continues with sunset, dinner and night. Entertainment anytime of the day:)))

Originally we walked in for coffee and we liked the experience so much that we decided to switch hotels. The quality of the food is really good and the service was great for each and every order during our stay. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and totally soundproof. We really enjoyed our stay and la zebra would be our choice again if we were ever to return to Tulum.

While checking in we had to sign a form stating that we would not sell or buy drugs. We're almost 50 and our main hobby is bird watching so that was a bit special.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, the rooms was spacious and had small details that made our stay even more comfortable. The level of service and kindness from the stuff was outstanding, we experienced a 5 star service level from a 4 star hotel. The location is perfect, just in the middle of the beach strip, surrounded by restaurants, bars, pharmacy and mini markets.

Food at the restaurant could have been better seasoned, more authentic, sometimes it felt like it was catered to American palate instead of with Mexican flair.

Great facilities and staff! We traveled with a 2.5 year old and we’re looking for things to do in Tulum. The options were limited but one of the locals recommended us to check out La Zebra beach club. We went and spent about 6 hours that day and loved it. They had an area for adults to lounge and enjoy (beach cabanas, restaurant, pool) but they also have an area specifically for young kids. Playground, coloring area, etc. We loved it so much we booked our las night stay there and got a beachfront room with plunge pool. Our only regret was not having stayed there more nights. We absolutely loved it and we all had a great time.

Good vibes and a lot of character. Lots of comfortable spaces to sit by the beach, restaurant, rooftop, outside your room. Food was great, and prices reasonable. The staff were very helpful with arranging transportation for day trips and to the airport.

Wet bar pool is a lot smaller than it looks in pictures. But most of the hotels on the strip have small pools or no pool. The ocean is right there!

The hotel is absolutely amazing and very stylish, the beach access directly from the terrace of the room is fantastic. The restaurant has incredible food and a very nice Frida Kahlo-Hippie-Jungle vibe. From the beach you can access the Lula hotel next door and join their amazing beach yoga classes.

Everything amazing. Only one small thing: the yoga classes at Lula aren‘t included when you‘re staying at La Zebra.

The hotel is very nice, directly on the beach. The room was very spacious and relaxing. The restaurant was very good both for breakfast and dinner. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and very attentive to details.

All was good, just a shame that July is not the season for the beach as the amount of seaweed was making it impossible to access the sea.

The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and a few steps from the beach. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They pay attention to the details. They clean up the seaweed in front of the hotel, which makes for a really nice beach experience

There could have been a bit more variety in food, and larger portions for the price
