I went for a swim in the pool which was full of children- which is fine. None had swimming hats. There was a lack of appropriate supervision. There was not a separate lane for people who wanted to swim although this have could been easily accommodated. Personal items had not been placed in lockers, rather in the private changing areas even when not occupied meaning there was no private space to change. It was not obvious from website that parking would be an additional (and expensive) cost. Room was good. Restaurant was good. Staff on Reception were also very pleasant.

The hotel property was excellent and the shower system was everything after a stressful drive.

The address was the same as the other hotel down the road, your staff member at the nec directed me to the hotel that we had booked how ever they directed me into Birmingham a full 25 mins in to city center rather than the 8 minute journey.!! I was extremely disappointed and upset after finding out that I was directed to the wrong location.! The hotel that we had booked was very attentive and apologetic at my experience. I would advise a better direction for parking and entering the hotel as I had to drive an additional 8 mins to turnaround .

Easy to find and the parking at the hotel was excellent. Very easy check-in. The room was excellent. When the TV didn't work thought it was the batteries , turns out fault with the TV. We were offered another room that evening which was an unexpected but very kind, and lovely room. The swimming pool/jacuzzi was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed using it. Service for food and drinks was excellent, you can order from the table easily. Breakfast which we paid for in the price was excellent, the staff very helpful. The option to have some things cooked to order was a bonus, pancakes for breakfast 😊 All the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly all credit to them. Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Across all areas there are incredibly helpful,friendly and attentive staff. Kevin at reception was very kind and attentive to my medical situation which was very reassuring. Sudha and her team at breakfast and dinner including Smriti, Twinkle,Mahazabeen,Dasinllva and Padma, were all fantastic. They were all smiling and friendly. It was an incredibly busy few days at the hotel and all the staff were calm,friendly and helpful. Sanchez the shuttle bus driver was chatty and friendly too. Food was lovely. Rooms were spotless thanks to the team including Sammy and Umera. Good staff, with good staff morale, reflects in a good hotel. I hope management acknowledge each staff member I have mentioned. I hope management congratulate all the teams on their hard work. I asked them their names because they were working so hard and still were smiling and attentive to my and other guests queries. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Nothing to dislike.

Room was very near to reception and my car, great, the food was fabulous, the bed was uncomfortable, the staff were very welcoming and pleasant

we paid £20 per dog per night we had two toy dogs which was £80, talking to other dog owners they paid £30 per stay, so we were overcharged, we ordered 2 double Vodka Martini, great very nice, next night we ordered them again and was told it was not allowed to order a double, as no mixer, double was £12.50 and single was £8.25 so much more expensive, we asked someone on reception was there a grass area for dogs he said no, but we found out the next day there was, so staff not all on same page

Staff were amazing and very friendly with beautiful smiles Very helpful at the reception The staff at the restaurant were excellent even at a busy time the standards never dropped Very kind ,polite, helpful loving towards my 2 kids I was very impressed Sunil,Padma and Sudha asked if the food was ok , everything ok need anything Food was nice and hot and well presented Even the guy at the pool was so friendly I just would like to say you have a amazing team and work very hard Kind Regards Rehana

To be honest i loved everything The first time I did not complain the atmosphere was positive every one was amazing

The property was a great big building with excellent location to airport. Rooms where clean and fresh and beds made up on arrival and very well presented and staff couldn’t do enough to help visitors out and where very polite when doing so. The food was fantastic for Dinner and Breakfast regardless of other people’s reviews, I found it to be top quality and very nice the whole family of 6 of us had no complaints. The swimming pool is a great touch for the kids with Gym, sauna and jacuzzi all included in the price.

The good it was a lovely room and had great facilities. I was really comfortable and enjoyed my time at the hotel complex. The staff were at times great and really nice. The things I think could be better are there seemed to be a fair few staff that appeared to be quite new, with quite long wait times for food and drinks. My biggest frustration was a cleaners master key card was left in my room after turndown. This left me quite unsettled and with concerns for safety, should something like that be left in someone’s hands with ill intent.

The location is excellent all round , shuttle bus to airport and a public transport bus stop outside the hotel . The lobby is very open and clean but the staff including check in staff , restaurant staff and even cleaning staff were really happy and laughing and you could sense there’s a really good work atmosphere here . You really know what you expect from IHG group .

You have to understand this is an airport hotel , you’re going to get a lot of kids & holiday people in the lobby and in the corridors.

The location was great for Crufts at the NEC and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of foods although we didnt get it on the first day as we had to leave early for Crufts.

The food from room service and dinner in the Restaurant was not great. TV did not work properly it only had radio and the fridge was turned off in the room. We had the sofa bed made up for our daughter and unfortunately it made the room quite small as it was a double sofa. It made things very tight with 2 adults a child and a dog with a crate.
