It was our first "meeting" with Scandic brand, and I have to say, the hotel was perfect! Big room, very impressive and pragmatic design both in and out. The hotel really wants to reduce the eco footprint with several little, but in fact useful ideas. Moreover the STAFF is very friendly and professional.

Parking is a little expensive, and if there is no free place in the quite little garage of the hotel, you must go to the public parking house, even this is very close to the hotel (20 m by walk). Unfortunately on the day of our arrival a sport event was ongoing (Paavo Nurmi's marathon), therefore to enter in the parking was a nightmare. :-)

Overall, this was a great stay. It was conveniently located in practically the center of Turku - right by the river for dining, sightseeing boats, ride share scooters and bikes, etc. The breakfast was great with lots of options. It gets a bit crowded by 10am, so good to get there early. The room was very comfortable and air conditioned! I had wanted to go on a bike ride and the front desk staff helped me figure out how to rent a bike and what route to take. The bike ride turned out great!

When I came down to check out at around 12:45, I was in kind of a rush, but had expected the process to be quick and easy since I didn't have any extra charges. There was only one person working the desk and about 12 people waiting to speak with them. I had to just leave my key on the counter, hope that was ok, and leave or I would have missed my train. This is a minor thing, but it would be great if there was virtual check out instructions somewhere, or a key drop box, or just more people working near 1:00 (which feels like a busy time to have people working). Or, plan for a good amount of time to wait to check out.

Great location, very clean room& bathroom, comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had all you can ask for and breakfast is served until 11 am, very nice!

Quite crowded at the reception when checking in. We could have had a drink while waiting but the bar was at the reception- the staff too busy checking people in, so no chance there. When we went down for breakfast next morning, we were asked if we had signed up for breakfast. Apparently, the staff at the reception should ask you to sign up if you want to have breakfast. Nobody told us about this, nor have we ever experienced this kind of procedure before. We were able to have breakfast but were left a bit baffled.

Unbeatable location at the center. It's a brand new building and tastefully designed and furnished. Absolutely wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere in the dining room are very good, except for some blinding spotlights. Please be inspired by Alvar Aalto! Roof top is great - but for aperitif drinks you really should sell (or offer) snacks. Olives, pretzels or pop corn would make me stay.

Not enough staff in the reception desk. We often had to wait. When available, they were super kind but not so knowledgable on about the city, nearby restaurants or sites that are open on Monday (a big problem in this city!). The sauna times are ridiculously short. Few tourists can be at the hotel exactly for the 90 minutes it's open, right on dinner time. Indoor sound proofing is not great. There was music noise from neighbor room and a mechanical hum in my room heard esp. when placing your head on the pillow.

The Börs is a classic hotel that was completely renovated a few years ago. I hadn’t visited here since the renovation and was very satisfied with how they had updated the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and peaceful. The overall ambiance was stylish. The breakfast offered a high-quality and abundant selection. For those unfamiliar with Turku, the hotel is also located in one of the best spots in the city center, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions.

The breakfast was excellent. I like the variety of options of food, its quality, and taste. I have only one pity: that I stayed only one night and couldn't try everything there. The location was comfortable for me; it was easy to reach all the city center, where lots of attractions and places to eat out are located. I liked that the room was clean and comfortable.

I liked everything, except I could't get to sauna as women's hours were only 5-8 p.m and it was early for me with my busy schedule

A comfortable room with enough hanging space. Nice bathroom and a good shower. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Make your own waffles was an imaginative addition . The roof top bar was brilliant - half undercover if raining and ample outside space if nice weather. Good cocktails at a fair price and a reasonable choice of wine by the glass. Great location with lots of parking .

The 'view' was of a flat roof and a brick wall , quite depressing. we know from our return stay that there are rooms with much better views of the market square, endlessly interesting. Pay for a room with that view . Room was rather short of drawer space. I would prefer a useful bedside cabinet with drawers rather than a table - which looks nice but you can't put anything [make-up etc ] in it. Long queues to check in at reception.

The location was awesome and convenient, the atmosphere was cozy, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It's very niche and specific, but I would've appreciated a working table for my laptop in the room. There was definitely enough space for it. Instead, there was only a small, narrow TV tabletop. Other than that, everything was great!

The hotel is located in the centre of Turku and has a wonderful rooftop on the main square. Regarding the room, it was large, clean and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and varied, with fresh quality food. Finally, the hotel staff has always been kind and available to our requests. Highly recommended.
