- Old style solid thick wall historical building: former jail. Unusual, stylish, extravagant. - Very peaceful and quiet location on a hill with kind of castle wall surrounding the building territory, removing any external sounds. - No neighbors are heard due to the thick brick walls. - Private parking behind the walls. - Pretty modern design of the apartments. Air conditioned. - High ceiling, large windows. - Elevator, even though the building is just 3 floors.

Nothing which cannot be fixed with a proper care: - Dish-ware especially frying pan was very used. - Kitchen hood was not connected to the external ventilation exhaust. - Washing machine was broken.

We stayed 8 nights and the appartment had everything we needed during this time - cooking appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, TV... Nice and quiet place, yet close to the river promenade and the city center.

It was not possible to open the windows in the bed room, allegedly because it would decrease the efficiency of the air conditioning. Actually, the first thing we did after our arrival was switching off the AC. Why to use it when there is around 20 degrees outside and you can have fresh air just by opening the window? So sleeping without an open window was a significant negative point for us.

The studio apartment exceeded our expectations. Such an iconic Turku building in a nice, new-ish neighborhood. Lit up steps very close to the hotel lead to the top of the hill where you can find a great brewery, a fantastic restaurant, a bakery and the famous funicular. We had a beautiful view (stayed on the 4th floor) and the room was tastefully restored with beautiful period features (tall ceilings, massive windows etc.) Free parking was a wonderful bonus. We’ll be staying here again!

I had a great experience with this rental. The apartment was clean, well-kept, and had everything I needed—including laundry soap, which was a nice touch. It would be even better with some complimentary tea and coffee. Still, a very comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Very good location and stylish old prison building, quite special experience! You can find almost everything you need, except for a shoehorn.

The pillows are horrible. They are super, very, quite loose and provides not at all support for the neck, like a 10-year-old pillow…

Large spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Interesting historical building. Great central location, although on a hill the Funicular was very welcome! Brewery & pizza in the old prison next door well with a visit. Use door B for access to the lift.
