We had a great stay here in Turku. We stayed here for four nights. Julia at the front desk staff was extremely friendly, efficient, professional, and gave us great recommendations for how to enjoy the city. The buffet breakfast had great variety and was consistently excellent . Our room was very nice, roomy, clean and comfortable. We had a rental car while we were there for the first two days to explore the nearby archipelago islands and used the EuroPark P-Centrum which was a block over, about a five minute walk, €18 for 24 hours in July 2025. We thought the hotel’s location was excellent, a short walk to most everything of interest in the city, and a short Bolt, Taxi, or Uber ride to the ferry port . (We used Bolt) We highly recommend the Solo Sokos Hotel Turun Seurahuone as an excellent choice when staying in Turku.

Unfortunately, we were there during thr 2025 Nordic heat wave and the air conditioning in the room was having a hard time keeping up.

My room was amazing. It was sort of a little studio with a small side living room (with an extra TV). The room was just super comfortable, surprising large, and nicely appointed. The bathroom was large and had a great design. I liked the northern exposure, it meant the sun was still shining directly into the room after 10 p.m. in summer. (But there were curtains who prefer more darkness). Minibar, safe, lots of storage, great complimentary breakfast, central location. I would definitely stay here again.

One of my best hotel experiences ever. The staff were absolutely wonderful. I had a problem with the online train reservation, and if it had not been for Juuka, the man working at the reception that night (I apologise if I have misspelt his name), I would have lost it. His calmness and help with all sorts of useful information were indispensable. Thank you so much! The women who were working the day shift at the reception were also wonderful, helpful, and very kind. I am sorry I did not ask for their names as well. The cherry on top was a waitress in the hotel restaurant! After a short chat about the weather and troubles with sleeping during the never-ending northern summer days, she brought me, out of nowhere, a sleeping mask. I travel a lot and have never before felt so welcomed. Apart from comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness, good food, and a central location, what makes this hotel a real "home away from home" are the people working there, and they are - the best.

Breakfast excellent ,evening meals the best cooked tasting food had throughout the world ,fish meat cooked to perfection and wonderfull tasting presented deserts Took my Finnish guests the last evening as a thank you for showing so many interesting places ,and the staff and service amazing . The bar /reception staff nothing was to much trouble to make my stay perfect and sorting my needs to perfection

The only slight issue was the coffee machine in my room which drilbled water on to the trolly every time i wanted tea or coffee Also i understand enviromently the hotel does not wish to clean the room everyday but as i was staying for a full week it would have been nice to have the bed pillows tidyied,and rubbish removed everyday as a lot of people only staythere for one or two days then the towels are changed and washed daily.

I went with my wife to Turku to spend our wedding anniversary here. Guided by the high reviews and the offer, we decided on this hotel. It was an excellent decision. Why? Because the staff, always smiling, was top-notch and extremely helpful. On top of that, as part of our anniversary, a small gift from the hotel was waiting for us in the room, for which we are very grateful. At the same time, we felt extremely safe and it was nice to return to the room in the evening after a day of exploring beautiful Turku. Highly recommended!

Everything was amazing!

It was a clean and nice hotel located in an area close to main Turku attractions and riverside. The staff were polite and helpful and although I arrived early in the morning but they checked me in as I was too tired and had a good sleep. The room was very clean, big with a nice and clean bathroom. The breakfast was generous and nice. I’d recommend this place.

The only downside to this place was the price which was expensive in my opinion. I paid about 280 euros for just one night as I didn’t have any other choice on that day and I understand it was weekend and breakfast was also included but still a bit too much in my opinion. So just bear in mind that it’s not cheap but services were all great.

The breakfast at the hotel was very good, featuring a variety of options. I had lunch at the hotel one day and it was exceptional value for the money. The main entree came with a salad bar, soup of the day, coffee or tea and a desert. The hotel was very secure with access controls on all levels, stairways and elevator, the bathroom was modern with tiled walls and floor. The shower had the dual heads with an overhead rain shower and a handheld shower head positioned beside the toilet for personal hygiene purposes. The windows in the room opened for a bit of fresh air and we found the room very quiet at night.

Despite the tastefully decorated bathroom, I would suggest an enhancement in the form of the bathroom door. While it may not pose an inconvenience for solo travelers, it becomes noticeable when staying with a partner. The door is a sliding glass variant, albeit non-transparent. However, due to its sliding mechanism, it is positioned slightly away from the walls, creating gaps on either side. This configuration inadvertently allows visibility/light from the bathroom on both sides of the door and fails to effectively diminish noise transmission. This setup isn't conducive to facilitating uninterrupted sleep for your partner, especially if you need to use the facilities during the night.

The staff was absolutely excellent, everyone of them! They even let me check in a little earlier which was great because I had a long travel day. The room was gorgeous and super clean. The shower was great as well as the soap, shampoo, ect. they provided. The location was perfect! I was able to walk to the hotel from the main train station easily, and also walk to many places of interest. I walked to Logomo to see a concert and felt absolutely safe walking back to the hotel by myself, as a solo female traveler. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again. I go to the beautiful country of Finland every year, it's a breath of fresh air! Oh, and the breakfast was excellent! And I'm a picky eater!

There was nothing I did not like. My stay was perfect.

The breakfast is great. The bed is very good.

The room was too small. We had to stow our luggage under the desk in order to keep a free path from each side of the bed to the bathroom. Due to lack of space one side of the bed didn't have a nightstand, so that I could not keep my phone at hand unless I would put it on the floor. The space-saving sliding door of the bathroom has a gap of 3 centimeters to the wall at every side, leaving you without any privacy when using the bathroom (that is, the toilet).

Great choice of breakfast. The bar area is welcoming and the service was good. A small gym area but has everything you need for a workout, you probably couldn’t have more than 3/4 people max in there at a time. Sauna facilities are a nice touch. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Staff were all very helpful.
