We spend there one night - during our 2-day trip to Dresden. Hotel is absolutely OK, very good location - 5 mins walk from main train station, 10 mins to the old city. Nearby big shopping center, offering plenty of choice to seat and eat something. It offers standard 3-star hotel quality, is clean, equipped with basics you need to have for the short visit. Worth to mention very good service at the reception desk.

One need to mind that hotel is old style, would need to be refurbished and modernized to get to the actual modern standards. However for the price paid - it was absolutely worth it = nothing to complain.

You pay for the convenience - steps away from the main train station and surrounded by a lot of cafes, restaurants, and shopping centers. The old town and other places of tourist interest are a 15-20 minute walk away. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are slightly dated but nothing I would lose my sleep over. The bed was comfortable and the huge window (overlooking the other Ibis) was great for natural light and fresh air. I was here only for one night and it did the job.

The bathroom could be cleaner - there were 2-3 pieces of hair stuck on the walls of the shower cubicle.

Location superb. Within 5 minutes walking distance of main railway station and the most useful tram routes. About 10-15 easy minutes to major city centre sites. Quiet inside and with pedestrianised, tree lined shopping street outside. The room was excellent with long views from window. Air conditioning was at a sensible level and unobtrusive. Excellent shower. Perfect in the very hot spell of weather during my visit.

It would have been nice to have a coffee making machine in the room.

The hotel was easy to find being close to the railway station via a pedestrian area (car parking available). The reception area was easily accessed, the staff pleasant and gave clear instructions as to accessing my room and meals. The room was big, had an en suite shower and a wardrobe that backed onto the shower wall and not my neighbours . I particularly liked the large bed, with a lightweight duvet and the collection of soft towels. The air conditioning was quiet and doors did not bang closed. This enabled a quiet relaxing environment. Requested service to attend to a couple of issues was prompt and satisfactory.

The room did not contain kettle or drink making facilities as this is accepted practice in Germany. There was some shelving and a few hangers for the wardrobe and the bedside tables were boxes with no drawers.

The staff were excellent. Hospitable and efficient in spite of being very busy. I appreciated the secure bike lock up facility and the provision of an electric kettle. Location suited me well. It was a simple, well equipped room. Clean, light and perfect for my needs.

Nothing really except I was surprised that not one English language tv channels was available. Some RT channels seemed to be available in German. Bit of a worry. However, I appreciated what the hotel offered and once again enjoyed Dresden.

Ideally located between the city centre and the railway station; very close to both. The building is huge but the room was still very quiet. Nice rooms, good breakfast.

Two minor things (that did not ruin the overall experience): 1. The breakfast venue was so crowded (off-season!) that you had literally to hunt for free places and put up with sitting with strangers. 2. There are multiple ibis Hotels in the same huge building complex with different entrances and upon arrival it was not clear where to check in. Signage could be improved upon.

Clean , nice , excellent location in the city center and next to tram station and central train station , quite , comfortable room size and beds , good breakfast , cooperative staff and very kindly

The room has no safe , no refrigerator , no cattle but this solved easily by asking the reception so you can borrow one from the reception

Location is very good, rooms are cosy, breakfast is good but more options for vegetarians would be excellent (also some info. about the cooked dishes what they are would be useful)

Some basic toiletries could be provided, electric kettle is a basic necessity now.

Great location directly opposite Hamburg Central Station, and lots of Christmas markets within easy walking distance. There was a nice view of Station area from our room. We had ordered a small room, so were pleasantly surprised to find that there was still space for 2 small bedside tables, and charging plugs on each side of the bed. Breakfast was good, although hot items were limited to boiled and scrambled eggs. Liked that there was fresh fruit salad - thanks. Breakfast was available from 6.30am which was helptful. Hotel staff were nice. If you're a fan of great bread rolls, try the bakery at the station. The soft bread pretzels with seeds were so delicious we went back for more.

The only thing we found annoying was not being able to fill our water bottles from the bathroom tap. The shower cubicle was tiny and we're not fans of shower curtains, especially in such a small space.

Great location, simple but comfortable and nice room. Perfect for a couple of days. Walking distance to Altstadt, shopping mall, Starbucks, stores, restaurants and main station are nearby. I would stay next time at this hotel again.

Nothing super bad, but mini fridge and safe would be nice to have in the room, as well as kettle and coffee-maker.
