I avoided this property for years, as it always looked run down. I was looking for last minute accommodations and decided I should read the reviews as the nightly rate was very reasonable. The reviews were definitely spot on, I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations that have taken place at this property. The parking was secure and clean. Our room was fantastic, clean, no carpet and lots of pillows. The breakfast was so, so. I would definitely stay again and mentioned to the staff how impressed I was with the renovations and presentation of the property.

Breakfast could offer hot items such as eggs and bacon or sausage.

We arrived fairly late at night and there were still parking spaces for our hire car. We have stayed at Days Inn before and this was fairly typical. Big, clean rooms and great for an overnight stay for our family, booking two rooms. Breakfast was included in a fairly small cafeteria style area and more like continental style with no meat options. However we all liked the waffles option with maple syrup easily made fresh in the machine provided. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Nothing really to complain about here. The price was reasonable.

The property itself was good, breakfast options could be a bit more, but when I checked out the employee at the front counter could have been more accommodating. There was a slight issue with payment and I said that I spoke to girl when I checked in. Girl when we checked in said she would put note on room account about my request. At check out girl asked me a question that I guess I didn’t hear proper. That is fine, but she made no effort to help correct and do what I asked about payment in note. Girls said that there was no note, insisted that it was done and that was pretty much it. Didn’t help me correct this issue.

I was almost charged for a hole in a wash cloth that either my daughter did not do. It was there already when we got there. We did not even shower or have a bath to do this as we only booked this hotel to sleep as we checked in at 7pm went to our show that night ,got back at 1 am and then left in the morning. That's when your hotel tried to pin me with a charge we did not do. This was not ok. Especially arguing about a wash cloth that had a small hole less then a pin hole infront of my daughter . I will never go back there. What a disgrace.

First of all getting blamed for something I didn't commit

The staff are nice and friendly. The place is very clean and in a great location. The breakfast is excellent, and one staff member was always busy refilling the food and cleaning the tables. I really appreciate her hard work. I needed to stay one more day, so I made another booking, but unfortunately, I accidentally booked at the south location.

The only thing I wanted to mention is that the customers in front of my room were noisy at 2:30 a.m. They kept slamming the door, which was very annoying.

We got upgraded to a King Suite. The room was obviously newly renovated, and the bathroom was beautiful, with a full rain shower and bench in the shower. Breakfast was basic, but adequate. Best part was, we had to stay here overnight, on our way back to BC, and the hotel is directly on Hwy 1 West. Leave the parking lot, turn right, and the next stop is Banff!

Not much to complain about!

room was clean, breakfast was sparse, I lucked out and got 1 plain yogurt. no pastries were left, and I was surprised what was put out once it was gone was not replaced at least once due to the amount of people that were there.

25.00 early check in was stupid. We arrived around 1:30 pm because we had to be at wedding venue for 3pm there was barely enough time to check in grab a shower, get changed before our cab was there. I was not even dressed actually and had to ask cab to wait 20 minutes.

There was plenty of parking. The hotel looks as if it is located in a safe area. Staff on reception ere so lovely and helpful, I have completely forgotten her name, but thank you. Our dog was welcomed. The room was lovely, with a microwave, fridge and large flat screen tv. The bed was so comfy and we had a road-side facing window and the room was still very quiet. The breakfast was nice, the fresh waffles were a bonus.

The lack of protein at breakfast was a disappointment. Some meats (bacon, ham,...) as well as English, French, Dutch German Cheeses, and eggs, would 've been welcomed. We thought charging $20 for our dog to stay at the hotel was a little steep, this really should be included. But this hasn't swayed our minds, we would still stay here again.

The location was close to the concert we came to Calgary for and Day's Inn provided us with great, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff that made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was great also. Couldn't ask for more than that. We will certainly be staying at Day's Inn when we come back to Calgary.

Absolutely no complaints!

The rooms are well maintained and sleep great. The free breakfast had great options (bagels, muffins, toast, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and coffee). The staff were kind and helpful. Good location especially for those who are planning to day-trip into the Rockies as it's right on Hwy 1.

I would have appreciated more fruit options at breakfast, and better seating as it was often cramped. The price was reasonable but I purchased with the Genius 10% off so that was better. No discount and I would have chosen somewhere cheaper as there are similarly priced options in downtown.
