Great location, nice hotel facilities (pool, steam room etc.), nice ski Lodge style decor, and really professional, polite staff. Nice touch being given a resort map on check in. The room was great value - a really good size, lovely to have a sitting area and dining area, and surprisingly well equipped kitchen. We had been slightly worried the Murphy bed wouldn't be super comfortable but went ahead as it was only for one night; don't let this put you off - it was really comfy!! And being able to put it away was a huge bonus as it gave so much space to move around with backpacks and gear. We didn't go in the attached pub restaurant, but it seemed very popular with skiers.

While really well equipped and laid out, the room was a little dated in some aspects.

The location is excellent literally right by the mountain. Walk outside and get on a lift either summer or winter. Whistler Village is very walkable with lots of great restaurants. We stayed in the one bedroom Mountain View and appreciate the space and living room. They gave us a late checkout at 1:00 pm.

Not the property’s fault but on the weekends there is loud music playing all day and until about 10:00pm at a nearby bar. We also happened to be there the week before crankworks and they were building a temporary structure right at the mountain base. Construction started at 7:00 am. I booked a Mountain View room but would have preferred to be on the other side of the building due to noise. Minor issue, but it would be so nice if they had water for the guests in the lobby.

In a fantastic location for skiing and right in the village close to everything.

The room we had was level 2 and right above the Irish bar below who co can be a bit noisy at night. I wear earplugs though so that takes care of it. The only other thing is that we are out a lot but if you were wanting to cook for yourselves they’d need to provide more frypans - there’s only three pots. Easy to solve though as I’m sure if I’d asked they would have given me some.

Loved the location & the service. We booked a one bedroom mountainside view. Great room. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the lively music in the late afternoons to early evenings from the nearby restaurants. Excellent service all around— Front desk, valet, restaurant & room service. And, some of the best housekeeping we have ever had.

Self parking was tough. Very tight lot Solution was to use the wonderful valet service.

7th stop of our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver, we spent 2 nights at Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside. What we liked: + Ideally located in Whistler + Outdoor pool and jacuzzi with views of the ski lifts and mountains + Beautiful, well-equipped room with excellent bedding + Good reception service + Several nice and affordable activities nearby (village tour, Train Wreck, Brandywine Falls Provincial Park, etc.)

What we liked less: - Additional parking cost (85 $ with tip for 2 nights) - Despite being a high-end resort, the value for money is quite poor when including parking costs

Perfect location - they give you a ski locker on the ground floor which is super convenient. The snacks after skiing are a nice plus. And the pool/hot tub are lovely! Came with my family for a ski vacation. Even though was crowded, didn’t feel so much so - there was room at the hot tub, we were late in making dinner reservations but got all we wanted, etc. First time in Whistler. Loved it. Loved that the rooms had a kitchen - super easy to make a quick breakfast before skiing. We took the Skylynx bus from Vancouver airport - the walk is short and easy. I obsessed between the two Pan Pacific hotels and the Westin, and I think Mountainside is the right choice! I did a spa day at Pan Pacific Village Centre. Its location is not quite as convenient for the slopes.

The rooms are a bit small for a family of 4. We got a studio suite. It’s fine - we didn’t spend much time in the room aside from sleeping!

The property was great! The location was excellent. Right across from the gondola. The room was very nice. The staff was exceptional. When I needed help they were extremely helpful.

The only thing negative I have to say was I had to leave Whistler early because I fell on the slopes my first day skiing and fractured 4 ribs. We received money back from everywhere else (ski rentals, car rentals, etc.) except Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside.

Location was perfect for skiing, shopping and dining. The beds were VERY comfortable. We loved the pool facilities after a day on the slopes. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we appreciated the shuttle service.

Pan Pacific was perfect, the only thing that would have helped to reduce costs would be an airport shuttle service with other guests as private transport was very expensive.

Good location. Paid parking underneath the hotel. Decent kitchen facilities in the room, which was like a small suite. Comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Really liked the outdoor pool and hot tub. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The attached pub was noisy, and the menu was fairly basic. It’s obviously very popular - just not my kind of place. The breakfast ordered from there and delivered to our rooms was pretty good, but a proper restaurant buffet breakfast would have been preferable. It’s very big, so feels a bit impersonal.

Location was great! Pool/hot tub and steam room very nice. Rental shop on site. Irish pub on site was great as well- although stayed busy the entire time. Staff was very friendly.

Music from longhorn saloon next door was loud (3-6pm and sometimes later) so wouldn’t recommend if you want an afternoon nap
