I loved this hotel! Breakfast was very decent since it was included and the staff was very nice and accomodating. The room was very spacious and very clean. My favorite part about the hotel is how comfortable the bed was! The location was also perfect, there were many places to eat within 5 to 10 mins from the hotel and it was close to the highway. Rooms were also quiet and we barely heard any noise from the hallways like most hotel. I would definitely come back.

The shower door was not staying closed there was probably an issue with the rubber but it not a big deal.

I appreciate the attention to reduction of waste, so even on a very busy weekend, still provided real cutlery and plates (not paper or plastic) at breakfast. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable. unfortunately we did not have time to use any of the other facilities. It is our second time staying here and would definitely consider it again.

The location is not great if your intention is to be near many of the Ottawa attractions or you hope to avoid using your car that much. For our trip, it was to visit with family, so this was not a consideration for us and appreciated having the easy parking.

Varied food Comfort Cleanliness

Being told at hour check in that there had been a change in our reservation and that we would only have 1 bed instead of 2. There is a reason for a guest to take the time to search and find what best suits their needs. So having been informed that because Booking.com offers things that are not completely certain was neither pleasant nor our fault. It was only until I asked if there would be a price decrease that the clerk magically found us a room that matched our original reservation.

The buffet was excellent, the hotel is modern and clean! But what made our stay extra special was the whole vibe of the hotel! We have been to many hotels traveling for hockey and this is the best hotel we’ve been to ! The whole staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and I’ve never felt so at home in a hotel before! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. I had teen boys with me, the staff was incredibly kind to them and they didn’t want to leave the hotel . Will rebook without hesitation!

I rent the high floor king bed and I like the room design layout with the sofa section close to the king bed making the room cozy and well lit with sunlight. The hotel lobby and the rooms are designed and decorated with a modern and cozy look. All the rooms were clean. The receptionists were nice. The breakfast was good. I stayed at this hotel twice and will return in the future.

I would appreciate more if the breakfast included the soup, like minestrone soup... It would be nice if the hotel did not charge 50$ for early check-in. All of the hotels I know do not charge a fee for early check-in.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated being able to share food with my 7-month-old baby (without salt). They also provided a crib for my baby, which was ready in the room when we arrived—a very thoughtful detail. They were very welcoming to my two small dogs, even providing water in the lobby for them, which was a nice touch. The parking was convenient, and the location was fairly good, close to the highway. Plus, there’s an excellent restaurant just across the street that I loved. The only downside was the bed—the mattress was extremely soft, so I wasn’t able to sleep properly.

We loved everything about the hotel. It was a high end, clean, comfortable hotel. The beds were great, the wifi was fast, there were food and drinks available for purchase and the rainshower was perfect after a long drive! They accidentally double charged our pet fee and refunded us even after our trip was over. It was a friendly team wanting to help at Hyatt Place. There were tv channels but no streaming services available on them (to my capabilities).

My only complaint is that we had 2 dogs and we were on the fourth floor, so when we returned from our events and had to take them outside, it was a trek. My pup peed on the floor in the lobby and the staff were VERY friendly about it. They even laughed and then they cleaned it up while we were outside. I should have known to get a ground floor unit but they were great about her little incident.

Virtually everything - the room was exceptionally clean, spacious and well set up. Facilities were also good sized, clean and well maintained. Check In was great - friendly and fast (thank you, J). Check out was also quick. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety and hardworking staff on site. Parking was easy and free.. Would highly recommend and would return to stay myself.

Not much to say here.- just very minor things like water temperature being cold in the pool. There were noisy people at the pool but that's not the hotel's issue (it'd be mannerless patents' issue). Water didn't drain well in our room's washroom and you need own toiletries like lotion but other than, the stay was great overall.

Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is amazing. The hotel served a great breakfast buffet and had a quaint restaurant attached to it. The Brew Table (a restaurant directly beside the property) was an a great addition to our experience. Staff was friendly, pool was nice size, exercise room was packed with great equipment and most of all our room was clean and the beds are very comfortable. It was close to all things fun.

Hyatt Place Ottawa West is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, offering superb value for money. The location is fantastic, situated in a safe area with plenty of shops and amenities nearby. The staff were outstanding—the manager and team were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We also appreciated that they honored our request for rooms facing the front, giving us a great view and beautiful sunlight during our stay. The entire hotel experience was great, with clean, spacious rooms and convenient parking around the property. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
