Needed a place near the airport after late arrival- this worked. Friendly reception

Suppose to be a shuttle- couldn’t find it

We booked because of Anime Ottawa happening next door. We were three to share the room. As we were cosplaying, we came with a lot of luggage (costumes, wigs, accessories, makeup, etc). The room was very spacious and even with our stuff piled everywhere, there was still a lot of room to walk around and sit. Our room was also fitted with a small kitchenette with a sink, three large mirrors, and multiple power outlets, all if which were super helpful as we didn't get too much into each others' way as we got into costume. The ventilation in the room was very good and the bathroom is equipped with a fan. The room had a large window overlooking the EY center, so it was great to see people coming in and out of the convention hall. Shower is huge and there was a lot of counter space in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our package, and there was a very good variety of items such as eggs, sausages, beans, hash browns, 4 different fruits, milk and oat milk, yogurt, cereal, muffins, crossants, toasts, english muffins, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and juices. Foods were different from one day to another, so you won't get tired of eating the same thing if you stay multiple days like we did. There was a lot of parking space when we stayed. Within a 10 minute drive, you can also go to Costco and T&T, and are close to many good restaurants without having to go to downtown Ottawa. And even if the hotel is next to the airport, we didn't hear a single thing from our room.

The lighting in the room was a little sparse, but it's ok once you also turn on all the bedside lamps. The room door slams really loudly if let it go.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. They put us in one of their handicap accessible rooms so our room was extremely large with lots of space which was nice. Beds were comfy, hot tub and pool were good (pool is heated which is nice) and the included breakfast was yummy with various options. Upon arrival the staff gave us a little goody bag with snacks inside for free because it was our wedding anniversary which was nice of them.

The only complaint I really had was the wall light in our room beside the tv was flickering when we turned it on because it was about to die so we didn't use it as it needed to be changed and the flickering was driving us crazy. But we still had lots of light without It so it's not really a big deal. Everything else was great and we would definitely come back again.

Staff very kind, and we really enjoyed the pool and whirlpool! Super clean and warm. Nice spacious family room. Breakfast is good, but you need to queue to make your own waffle, it can be a long wait at peak times

I personally didn’t like the one use cups cutlery and plates. Every single cup was also wrapped in plastic! Nothing was recycled, the amount of waste was impressive. The hotel should consider moving on to proper kitchenware, glass cups, ceramic plates and metal cutlery! Invest in a few dishwashers

Breakfast selection was great, much appreciate the alternative food option for those who have food allergies. The room was very spacious and very clean! The beds were super comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Our door had some lock issues and needed to be fixed - bound to happen at some point so not a big deal. However the key scan in the elevator was extremely frustrating , the explanation tag was not comprehensive and we often tried 5-7 times to get the elevator to accept which floor we were on.

Super clean, good choice for breakfast, Hotel has a brand new condition. Especially like air conditioning system, not just a window AC. Beds are super comfortable 10/10. Front desk Christine was amazing and super friendly.

Only minor think. You should pay 8$ to get high speed Wi-Fi.

Fairfield Inn Ottawa airport is my go to hotel when I am in Ottawa it is near to the airport, away from the traffic staff are always welcoming rooms are spacious breakfast is ok for what it is
