The hotel is located on the Rideau Canal, and our room has a beautiful view! The grounds are lovely with lots of places to sit and to enjoy the beautiful view. The outdoor pool is also huge and warm with lots of lounge chairs provided. The hotel is conveniently located close to the attractions we wanted to visit in Ottawa.

The complimentary buffet was just ok. The food was barely warm, and the bacon was extremely overcooked. The shower in our room is also very small and does not have a tub. I have never seen such a small shower in a hotel.

The rooms were nice and clean. Very good fitness center, nice sauna and hot tub area right beside the gym. Nice and clean outdoor heated pool, The pool was warm even though it was only 17 out. Very good hot buffet breakfast

The bathroom, The sink area there was enough room but the tub and toilet area is a bit small, Now that could be mostly due to the fact that I'm a 280lbs bodybuilder who takes up a little more space then the average person.

We stayed at the newer building top floor right by the river. Room is spacious and clean. The deck is nice and big. Breakfast is hotel breakfast, so good enough. Staff is all amazing and friendly. The pool is big and clean. The ricer lounge is sooo nice, we saw fireflies! We also rented a canoe and really enjoyed it.

The guy who cleaned our room needs more training. The floor was often not cleaned properly or forgot to replace towels. We were there for a week. The garden is being taken care of by staff which is good as it needs it. In general the hotel is a bit old but we would return for sure.

I liked the rooms and the breakfast. The restaurant and reception staff were excellent and very welcoming. The breakfast was hot and served in a clean environment. The restaurant staff were also very helpful in answering our questions. As we could only have halal food they took time to point out what we could and could not eat.

The bathrooms were a bit old and dated but the overall cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was very good!

Great location, views were nice, room was modern and a decent size. The view of the Rideau was beautiful. We even did some canoeing which the hotel offered at a reasonable price. Complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus and the total cost was very reasonable.

Beds were a full size for a family of 4 we could have used some queens.

The room that they gave initially was not that great as we did not like the view. So we upgraded and later loved that room. Rooms are well maintained. Breakfast was decent enough with breads, sausages, bananas, cereals, coffee, pancake, muffin and croissants.

The second part of the building can be maintained good. The ground floor wasn't that great when they offered it initially so we upgraded and moved to the third building

Breakfast was good, place, location and view was good. Staff were nice.

Wifi was slow, bath tub was slippery- there should be a rubber mat in it, and to avoid getting the bathroom floor wet, slippery and dangerous, I suggest you put a double curtain- one is a liner to keep it inside the tub and the other is the outer to keep the floor dry.

It seemed like the door of our room was not able to close properly in a way that we could hear a lot of the noise outside (the street). The smell in the hallway to access our room was very bad. (Smelled old and dirty) The carpet in our room was dirty too as, after taking a shower, the next morning, all of our feet’s were dirty

Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. Location of the hotel is easy to find an dark. It was quiet. I like quiet.

There were few plastic bags with garbage in front of my room before I come. Some of them spilled. And they were there after I left. I don't mind it. Just one sleeping.

I paid 326$ for 3 days 2 nights this was one of the best places i stayed! The breakfast were included aswell Food places/restaurants are 10 minutes away If you're fine with driving around this is a good place to stay but if you want a place closeby to the tourist spot places then find somewhere else but for me this was perfect we were able to drive and the price is awesome... close to the tourist spot places are more expensive and maybe with no breakfast but this one is just perfect
