Great suite - Comfortable and spacious. We had two queen beds and a sofa bed which were super comfortable for our family. Two TVs - great as well. The suite had two showers which made getting ready in the morning for a family of five super efficient.

The breakfast rush on Sunday morning was mad! When we came down for the complimentary breakfast (included in our booking) around 9:15 AM, we were in for a rude shock. The trays were mostly empty and there was a huge line up for the one or two items that were being replenished by the staff. There was a huge line up for the only hot vegetarian option on the menu. They were out of bread, bagels, butter and cream cheese which made it extremely hard for us to find anything for the kids to eat. The staff were doing their best to keep up but they were outnumbered and unable to match the demands of the guests. The management will do well to anticipate and plan for the weekend mania!

Exceptional customer service. Staff were friendly and eager to listen and attend to any need we presented. Edward and Vinay keep it up! Wanted to extend our stay and hotel was fully booked. Edward kept monitoring the system between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am in the morning. He managed to secure a room and saved us the bother to move to another hotel. At 7 am in the morning, he called us to confirm he had a room for us! Edward, you gave us a reason to always come back and recommend Fairfield to our friends with no hesitation at all!

We booked because of Anime Ottawa happening next door. We were three to share the room. As we were cosplaying, we came with a lot of luggage (costumes, wigs, accessories, makeup, etc). The room was very spacious and even with our stuff piled everywhere, there was still a lot of room to walk around and sit. Our room was also fitted with a small kitchenette with a sink, three large mirrors, and multiple power outlets, all if which were super helpful as we didn't get too much into each others' way as we got into costume. The ventilation in the room was very good and the bathroom is equipped with a fan. The room had a large window overlooking the EY center, so it was great to see people coming in and out of the convention hall. Shower is huge and there was a lot of counter space in the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our package, and there was a very good variety of items such as eggs, sausages, beans, hash browns, 4 different fruits, milk and oat milk, yogurt, cereal, muffins, crossants, toasts, english muffins, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and juices. Foods were different from one day to another, so you won't get tired of eating the same thing if you stay multiple days like we did. There was a lot of parking space when we stayed. Within a 10 minute drive, you can also go to Costco and T&T, and are close to many good restaurants without having to go to downtown Ottawa. And even if the hotel is next to the airport, we didn't hear a single thing from our room.

The lighting in the room was a little sparse, but it's ok once you also turn on all the bedside lamps. The room door slams really loudly if let it go.

Breakfast was great and location was perfect. View from the windows made the kids enjoyable after seeing airplanes. Room space was fantastic compare to many other hotel where we feel claustrophobic but not here.

Swimming pool facility can be improved and supervised to support the guests in case if they need anything. House keeping and the complimentary amenities like shaving kits, tooth brushes, vanity kits should be provided. Complimentary water should be added in the rooms including but not limited to at least 2 water bottles per day. It will not cost the hotel much but will impact great. Holiday Inn serve a welcome drink to customers like orange juice or water, that should be added to ease up the guests.

I stayed with my daughter. I liked the room, clean and spacious, all the stated amenities were there. Despite the fact that the hotel is quite close to the airport, the hotel is quiet and cosy. After a long flight it was great. The hotel transfer arrived on time and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the hotel has a business area, so you can work on the computer and print files for free if you need to. We are grateful to all the hotel staff, but especially to the receptionist Paul, whose professionalism and friendliness helped us to have a really great experience and feel welcome. Thank you.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. They put us in one of their handicap accessible rooms so our room was extremely large with lots of space which was nice. Beds were comfy, hot tub and pool were good (pool is heated which is nice) and the included breakfast was yummy with various options. Upon arrival the staff gave us a little goody bag with snacks inside for free because it was our wedding anniversary which was nice of them.

The only complaint I really had was the wall light in our room beside the tv was flickering when we turned it on because it was about to die so we didn't use it as it needed to be changed and the flickering was driving us crazy. But we still had lots of light without It so it's not really a big deal. Everything else was great and we would definitely come back again.
