ALL of the staff were super friendly and helpful. They went ABOVE and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. We were stranded after a flight was canceled due to weather when going to visit our son in iqaluit and not sure if we would even get a flight the next day. We booked this hotel as it had shuttle service to the airport. When the shuttle arrived, the gentleman driving was friendly and polite. We spoke about the flight and being disappointed as we only had a few days off. When we got to the inn and we checked in, he inquired with the front desk clerk about what room we were in and said they only had 4 left for the next day. He told us that if we didn't get a flight for the next day to come see them in the morning and they would make sure we were taken care of. Well, our son was able to get us added to a flight the next morning, so we booked the shuttle for 6 am. He was again the driver, and you could see was happy we had worked things out. It is hard to find good guest service today and all of the people made us feel like we were guests staying in their home. They made a disappointing and frustrating day end better with their kindness. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing a place.

There isn't a negative thing I could think of.

Check in was quick and easy. I made a special request for gluten free options at breakfast, however they said they couldn’t accommodate which was disappointing with the variety of gf options these days. The breakfast had hard boiled eggs, bread, bagels, pastries, tons of great fruit including fresh berries, yogurt, juice, and coffee. I brought my own gluten free bread and used PB&J from them. I would suggest to come prepared if you have allergies, but at least they had some protein option. Hot breakfast options would be nice.

Pool was broken when we were there. Would have been nice to have a hot tub as an option. Otherwise no complaints.

The suite was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. Excellent shower and accessories. The bed was comfortable and loved having so many pillows.

The breakfast was okay but the coffee was the worst I have ever had. I walked over to Tim Horton’s to get a good cup of coffee. The only other surprise was that the juice/water was on ice but not cold. At 930 am, I came back to the area and only apple juice available? We were in room 301 and the couch was okay but very old looking. It was okay for comfort but for a suite, I thought it should be better quality.

I liked the room and breakfast. Lots of parking spots were available.

The sink was blocked, water didn't run well. Hair drier in the room did not work. There was a piece of hair on the watermelon. I gave it back to the lady in kitchen. Pool was too small and very public. So, we did not use it even though my son wanted to swim a lot. There was a banging sound around 1.30 am for two nights that we stayed. It did not last too long, so I could not understand where it exactly came from. But still it woke me up in the middle of the night.

The breakfast was varied, fresh, very clean and well stocked. The lady looking after 5he breakfast was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bedding was in good shape. The rooms and bathrooms are looking a bit tired .

I would like to have been told there was no housekeeping in our room. I had to take wet towels to the laundry and pick up fresh ones each day. Same with garbage. The laundry staff were very friendly and helpful. This certainly wasn’t a problem but being told as I checked in would have been useful.

We love the breakfast and staff. Breakfast has a lot of food and the fruits are very fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful, our flights were in the afternoon so we left our bags in the hotel and added another trip to Ottawa city, on our way back to Days Inn, it was raining and it had a traffic, but the shuttle driver was there waiting for us on time. We very appreciated the front desk service and the driver. They are the best!

Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the fruit especially. Also the variety of breads, bagels, muffins, cream cheese. Good coffee. Great value re cost of my stay. When I let the staff person know you were out of coffee and eggs they were replaced immediately.

When I called for the shuttle, I was told it would arrive in 10-15 minutes. After 25 minutes I called again and was told he'd send it right away and it was there in 10 minutes. Turned out the front desk person got busy and forgot to tell the shuttle driver. HOWEVER, when I spoke to him about it, he offered me an upgraded room and I hadn't even asked for one. We all make mistakes and his ultimate response was what I consider good customer service. The area in front of the microwave was sticky.

It's a basic hotel. Everyone is nice and the breakfast is ok. I will definitely come back. The room and beds where perfect.

The armchairs in the hallway and reception have never been cleaned. They have sweat and dirt stains all over them. I would never sit in them or put my clothes or handbags on them. The rooms where super clean though.

Continental breakfast was included and it was more than we expected. We enjoyed the variety of drinks, snacks, bagels, etc. and we will surely stay here again. The complimentary shuttle service was a bonus

Waited for the shuttle driver to take us back to the airport, but I never turned my watch back an hour due to time difference and initially I thought he was late, but we were an hour early. I did apologize for getting a little impatient, but it was all resolved quickly once we explained the misunderstanding

the property actually exceeds my expectations as it is a 3 star hotel and relatively budget one, however it was very clean quiet, and seems to me like 5 stars (with no luxury items). Breakfast is OK, no hot meals, but more than enough. Also, Tim Hortons is just few steps away from the main gate which is very convenient in case you don't like the hotel's breakfast.

maybe a bit more privacy for the swimming pool not be exposed to everybody on their way to their room. another area of improvement is the breakfast, it is fine, but could be better.
