The place is quiet and the location is convenient. Easy to get in and get out.

There was no microwave in the room. The WIFI was weak as we stayed at the very first room, maybe too far away from the router.

Rideau Heights Inn has the nice look of a 1950s/1960s motel, with everything in top shape -- good older-style furniture, my room (35) was in excellent condition, with a very comfortable large bed and bed sofa, a good television, a small refrigerator, a bathroom with all necessary fittings in good, thoroughly clean condition, and an air conditioner, which was very helpful. The building's exterior looks great, with fresh handrails and cement paths. Parking was good, too. Staff members are very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are attractive, too, with a parklike atmosphere. Several guests were using the garden chairs.

Convenient to the airport and a short distance to the tulip festival and parliament buildings.

We had to put a sign on the door to have the bed made. The towels and garbage were refreshed daily but after the first day of the bed not being made we put the sign on the door and everything was fine after that.

First, the location is near Hog's Back Falls and the start of the Rideau Canal which I love to go to. As well, tall white pines make the very spacious property beautiful and great to go for a walk around. It's also a good distance from the main road. There are no obnoxious security lights, so a good night's sleep in a dark room is a welcome delight. For those who aren't as outdoorsy as I, it's just a 2 km drive to a great breakfast at Cora's, some crazy shopping, and a bit of eye-gazing at Mercedes Benz on West Huntclub. The room is suberbly clean and comfy and I love the bathroom sink and large counter outside the bathroom wall. Finally, Raj was a terrific host, easy to talk to and helpful.

Okay, there is a flaw. If you don't eat breakfast the meagre offering will suffice.

the location was handy to work and to a national gym chain that I have membership with. I thinking the property would be relaxing in the summer because it is on a spacious property with trees and tucked in away from the busy Prince of Wales Drive.

it is a wood construction and if you are on the ground floor in the 2 story building (there is a single story building as well) it may be loud. My neighbor above me pounded their feet so hard that it shook the lightbulbs. I was a large room with a sitting area. It had a mini fridge so it should’ve had a microwave too but didn’t. I microwaved my food at the motel office. The staff were kind.

Room was good for what we needed. Very clean!!! Close to where we needed to go and close to Hunt Club Rd which was where we went for meals. Very quiet area and easily accessible to the main highway to get to the 401.

The breakfast assortment wasnt that good. we went to a restaurant but that is what those breakfasts are. (Continental). It was an older building, could use some upgrades. We were disappointed that we couldnt watch the curling on TV that evening and had to wait for the highlights the next morning. Need bigger towels for showering and bathing.

Check in was painless and staff friendly. Check out same. Our room was nicely decorated- appeared updated from Booking.com website. Breakfast was adequate- muffins, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt

There was a group staying there that was loud, and then someone knocking/banging on a door nearby after 3 a.m. woke us, but that can happen anywhere.

the room was quite comfy, and quiet..and its location is great for my purpose (convention). The staff gave a friendly greeting, as well as a nice chat when we checked out.

wish the parking was better set up..found it hard to get a good spot in front of room when other hotel guests arrived

Breakfast was good. Sufficient for what was advertised.

The greasy afternoon manager, who didn't even state who he was when trying to enforce the smoking policy. Not what I expected, especially when everyone else was so polite and accommodating.

The place looked very attractive as we pulled in. It seemed like a 1950s/1960s motel, which we liked. A few items on the property seemed not well kept up, but most of the facility were very well cared for. It was a fun and enjoyable stop.
